Longtime casual FM player, played the last one for a good year and have played maybe 70% of all FM games. I was also a big fan of the GT games but hadn't played it since GT4 I believe. As a casual player I never touched a wheel and was very content with playing with the controller. I was even satisfied with FM. My take about the whole online playing is simple...GamePass makes it too easy for a mass of kids and trollers to play whereas GT7 players bought this game and there's a much higher percentage of players who want to play seriously. My story, the second I got a ps5 and GT7 my days of playing FM were over, I cancelled GamePass soon after and after playing these games for 3 decades on controller I've now moved to a rig, a very simple startup rig... but still its a big move for this old man. Enjoy.
The reason the colours look washed out here on RUclips is because HDR was enabled on your Playstation when recording. Also, you're handicapping yourself massively by turning ABS off in-game (the game doesn't model tyre lock-ups particularly well, so practically all of the fast players use ABS.) Traction control also slows you down. Only use it on standing starts and maybe in wet weather.
