A cliffhanger!😀Shane, you deal with things and help us with things we don't even think about because they are so "every-day" for us - we just deal with these things and keep moving. These videos are such a help because they bring these issues out front and give us ideas on how to deal with them we may have not thought of. It also is good to know a lot of other people deal with "chair hands" or whatever you want to call it! Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!! I happy to share. Like you mentioned all to help people. I also like reading the comments from people who share how they deal with everyday life needing the aid of a wheelchair. We can all learn and grow together. Thank you!!
I hear ya. I dread the winter just because of what it does to my hands. My remedy helps but I have to be very consistent for it to work. Hoping to have my remedy video up in a couple weeks. I just waiting for some mega splits LOL
Good work! Pretty typical for us wheelies…washing my hands with sand soap a few times is my go to and Nutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream for soft hands afterwards
:) :) There's no gloves in basketball! LOL Actually yes, some individuals who have limited hand strength (quadriplegics mostly) will wear gloves to help with grip when it comes to pushing their chair and to assist with catching and holding the ball. Typically you don't wear gloves playing wheelchair basketball. I tried wearing gloves way back in the day for fun and found it totally altered my shot, pushing, ball handling and passing as it would most players.
