- This is my guitar playing of buckethead song.
Buckethead is my idol of guitarist.
This song is hard and long, I can't play like original song then I put some of my improvisation on B minor.
I practiced and recorded many times at night but it was good some parts (and alot of mistakes) then I slept and I recorded it again in the morning, my face looks sleepy after sleeping but I played it better.

I recorded on Garageband and made the video on Final Cut Pro.
Buckethead would be proud of how good this cover is.

@@prajeetbhatt1018 it's a good interpretation though , I mean give this young lady her proper respect afterall buckethead had been playing about 25 years when he composed this masterpiece . This young artist has just been alive over one half of that .

It wasnt bad I mean... For me well it just wasnt that emotional and fast enough as original is. And well, no artists play their songs exactly the same as on recording. Not because its hard and they cant but because playing is not just memorizing tabs and playing it. Actual guitarists and musicians know notes on instrument and know how to get exact sound and can improvise and play whatever they feel in their head. And playing live is very different than in the studio and artists play differently because of that... So yeah...

The man doesn't even play it the same way every time, so maybe you did it just like one of his shows. Sounded great to me.

Once the artist have an idea it will just keep on growing ! That is why he played differently all the time and only different came help us improve or master. This girl is good, but is too robot to me ! No soul

Your clean tone is *super sonic spot-on* as fuck. Straight talk; I was looking away when this auto-played after one of Buckethead's live versions and I thought it was the album version (which I've heard and listened to a million times). I said to myself, "Oh right on, I haven't heard the album version in so long that it will be fun to compare against all the live versions I've been digging into lately". So ya, that clean at the start is perfect; the tone, chorus and all the other subtle effects we guitarists use to craft a powerful clean tone; you have them right on the money. I'd love to see a list if you recall.
This almost goes without saying but the playing was obviously just as stellar or who cares what the tone sounds like if you're flubbing notes and chords all over the place.
LASTLY! My last comment isn't meant to posture criticism on flubbed notes or chords, especially on a song this challenging and unique. I heard a few in the solo as I was typing this and didn't want it to be read in the wrong context. When you're improvising (which is just as amazing as learning something note for note), you're going to eat a few. Imagine giving a speech for 62,912+ people off the top of your head and never taking pause to figure out which word(s) comes next, mispronouncing a word, taking pause by saying um or any utterance, or saying the wrong word altogether...that is what flubbing notes in a long improvised or replicated solo is similar too.
I've seen Buckethead himself flub more notes than that in a song live (see: Magua's Scalp; a favorite of mine which is still a stellar live performance but the flubs on that are obvious). Never forget the album version(s) are never one take. No matter how great the flow in a solo seems, it is never one take.
Edit: This appears to be more than one take as well. So you know what I mean! :D

Her clean tone is pretty spot on but her distortion is waaaay different not only because no wah, sounds like her amp is scooped to me. Not being negative tho and I love anyone who covers my fav song! BTW Bucket's Jordan solo for guitar hero was allegedly done in one take ;)

I mean the high and open strings don't ring as much and kinda sound restricted instead of ringing out fully.
