It’s so, so refreshing to hear someone who’s discussing addressing the root causes of this disease. I pray this information will make its way to those who need it most and that they will make some changes-so worth the work. This information is invaluable. Keep up the great work that you do!!!
You are spot on! I've been saying I think sugar, carbs, wheat, and dairy cause my symptoms to be worse but I thought this was pre-diabetes but my blood count doesn't show that. I've praying about this and found your video. Thank you for taking out the time to explain the root cause because your spot on thank you
@@simrankaler8133i am from India too simran and I've HS.I do have some things to share with people probably that would help. If you wanna connect then just reply to this comment and i'll be connecting with you over some social media prolly. As for the Gluten free flour i would prefer not because it is high in carbs.
Thank you so much for sharing this information, it parallels my experience with going Keto a few years ago before I knew I had HS. It was the best my skin had ever been. I’m currently trying strict carnivore to see if I can actually put this horrible condition into remission. One other thing I would suggest for those going through a flare up: immediately begin a fast, try to go for at least a day without food, and take an ice bath every day for as long as you can stand it. I’ve found this combination greatly reduces inflammation and reverses the flare up.
This video was made specifically for those with HS. If you are suffering from said condition, I’m recommending that you try eating lean protein sources and low carb veggies like broccoli, asparagus, and green beans. Once you are in remission, you might be able to add back the nightshades. It will be a trial and error. Hope that makes sense.
Yes I have lived with moderate to high level of HS for 16 years now. It seems to also get triggered by stress and pressure, and depression also seems to make it flare up.
I totally agree with your points, I have observed lot of difference when I cut down these. For me dairy products like paneer, ice creams etc are big no. I also found that some sauces that goes into Thai food triggers the flares. Big No to bread as it contains yeast and Red meat too.
Red meat is fine, as long as it's fresh and unprocessed... as for dairy, cut all of it... the thai food stuff is fool of preservatives, sugar and other processed ingredients...
Thanks for the video. One question: in that study with 12 people, they didn’t actually remove all carbs from the diet, but only diary and yeast, right? I ask because you are saying here that all carbs are bad actually. What’s your source about that?
Thank you so much for this advice, I have been desperately searching for advice for my husband. I introduced Ayurvedic eating for his Dosha, which has eliminated many of the foods you have also mention to take out of the diet. He is stage three and only diagnosed 8 months ago after suffering hell for the past 12 years. He’s been on this terrible medicine called Humira which has done nothing but make him so sick and nauseous daily. Takes injections weekly. I have been experimenting with castor oil cold pressed organic with no hexane mixed with almond oil. Can’t afford pacs as I’m his full time carer since he fell off the roof a year ago and broke all his ribs on his right side and his wrist on top of HS. I want to know if it is safe for him to use this oil while on Humira? I’ve been using it doing reflexology, I’m not trained in it but has helped me tremendously. Please, if you have any advice, I would be most grateful. Kindest Regards, Vibeke, Perth Western Australia 🕊💝🌈
Hi, I had severe HS on both my arm pits, got excised with the help of surgery. And am doing much better now. Humira did helped me but when I read the side affects and long terms effects I did not want to continue it. Avoiding yeast, red meat, gluten, sauces like oyster etc and ofcourse egg plant as well as dairy products specially cheese really helped me a lot.
I haven't been able to work out all year it made my reocurring flates worse. I was finally prescribed predsnisone and went into remission for a few weeks.. finally. So it felt good to work out again. But even on prednisone, I have same flare come back up. I wonder if laser hair removal can help with this disease
if we dont eat dairy, then we dont eat yogurt.Yogurt is the only source of natural probiotics for me.What should i do for probiotics .Can somebody please reply,i want to minismise my flare and daily pain. thank you
I did keto a few years ago before I knew I had HS, and it resulted in the best skin I’ve ever had. I’m currently trying strict carnivore in hopes that it will put my HS into remission. Look up Mikhaila Peterson and her success with treating her autoimmune conditions.
Keep carbs under 50, no bread, no fruit, no dairy, no yeast, no fermented foods. Exactly what can I eat besides meat, eggs, vegetables, seeds and nuts? And finding dairy substitutes IS a problem - they don't taste good.
Once you change your eating habits your tastebuds will get use to it. You have to cleanse your body first get rid of the bad foods and start putting in the good stuff. Trust me it’s so worth it. Peace & blessings.
Nope. Those are the only things on the menu. Ive been trying to get away with drinking 2 cups of milk every night before bed for a couple of weeks and now i have a huge flare.
Hi so question I am newly diagnosed with HS and so are fruit not ok even if they are non-inflammatory? What about Greek yogurt I know it’s dairy but it contains a lot of probiotics that help with inflammation?
I guess fruits that doesn’t create insulin spike should be fine, eating fruits in moderation does helps. Probiotics are good but dairy should be avoided. Especially cheese.
That’s not always the best option for each patient. My husband tried all the immunotherapy. Non have worked. You need to find what’s best for each patient. Sometimes it’s thinking out side the box. Some patients do benefit from standard of care but not all.
I used Humira for 4 Years it was good till the boils come back again 6 months ago in my back and grown area and its not working anymore for me so now I'm convinced that i need to change my diet for goood
I've been told that it's a genetic. I'm hoping that laser hair removal can mitigate the inflamation in the follicles. Prednisone was the only thing that helped reduce my hs almost to remission for several weeks but the force was strong with this flare, because even on prednisone it came back..

Can we use gluten free wheat floor? Actually im from india and it’s our basic food

Hello . Thanks for the advice. Can you recommend foods that can be consumed and are beneficial in suppurative hydrosadenitis ?
Alkaline diet

Is apple cider vinegar or sauerkraut okay?

No one has a cure yet? Do people with diabetes have HS? . Maybe their meds could be causing it?
Why does hs happen to some ppl?
My son has Crohn’s disease and Hidradenitis. They are often found together. 😢
