  • HELLO, today we have the redact Everest 10. great crawler out of the box. it has been modified with the onyx motor and esc combo. easy to install, runs great, just the right amount of power for what I'm after with this truck. testing out the speed with new motor, the tires in new terrain and the big dog track with jumps..tried the creek and it tore the bank up...just what I wanted...now onto dome other upgrades and it will be done..
sorry for not having links to things I show ....soon I will have that all sorted out for links and such..
enjoy the video , have a great day and ill see you in the next video.

Most GEN7 parts fit as well. you r on the right path with the shocks.Check out the pen spring mod. MIP drive shafts. I broke all others. Rear steer would really make turning sharp. Love the scale wheels!

hey thanks for the comment..I was wondering what truly fit. rear steer would be fun...was about to go nuts what to really do with this truck...I think I might have an idea now..I will check out the mip parts too..

You really need to fix your torque twist..... It looks crazy when you're driving

i read that if you want to install a 3660 size motor, move the links to the outside of the frame and put the screw in from the inside. Might still be tight, but it's been done. If you want to lower your center of gravity, buy some super cheap shock keys so you can raise the mounting point of the shocks. It becomes a different beast when you lower the chassis down.

sounds like a plan. might just do this. redoing the whole truck with metal axle housings shock relocation facing, and a few other things..thanks for the input..

lol right..!! it held up fine till we hit the tall weeds, broke the back axle.. looking for new axles choices. probably going to do a complete make over..oh yah

I installed a Spektrum - 3300KV 4 Pole Brushless Motor Spektrum - Firma 85 Amp ESC in mine and it just barely fit. The motor bumps up against the rod end and the wires are kind of snug as well. I have tried different shocks and even duel shock to stiffen it up but found that it preformed better with the stock shocks or something similar like the ones you showed. Steel gears and bearings should really help a lot. I really like the tires and rims you chose. I wish the axels were longer to actually except a Nylon nut. I went to some flat knurled wheel nuts on mine and it did help some.

I like the speed yours has .I was impressed with the power from that set up..what shock fluid oz. did you end up going with..?
I should be getting your speed and power, but it is still slow, might have to re do the punch.... I'm still trying to find my injora tires , they are similar to these on mine only a little wider and taller , super gnarly tread.. seems this truck is a little versatile with certain mods. maybe a whole different axle is in the works..and will it line up correctly..hmmm..

Thanks. It's such a nice truck. I have my punch set up to max. I will probably drop it down some. The truck performs so well over rocks and tree trunks. I don't think I'm going to bash mine too much more. I want to save it for trail runs. The shock weight I use that works best for me is 70w. The truck is a bit hoppy so I went back to a shock that was similar to stock. I know there must be some longer axels out there but I'm chicken to experiment because it gets expensive and you end up with drawers full of parts that fit nothing. lol @@loosewheelsrc
