@@DinoSchumacher same here. It's a brilliant bike and having taken it on the trip I did the only thing I did change on it was add bar risers. It's now even more comfortable

Did 13500 kilometres end of October into November about four weeks, on my 2010 GTR, from near Perth WA to Cairns in Queensland through the blue mountains back to Perth.
through extreme heat (42C +) and thunderstorms, had a tyre change in Cairns due to rear tyre looking like a car tyre ( square ) and the front deformed due to heat and some long straight roads, that was the only problem I had. My bike now has approx. 120000 ks on it now, fantastic it is

@@DavidCarse-sn2rq that's awesome 😎 I'm going to be coming to Perth next year for a few weeks so I'll be making a video over there when I rent a bike 😊

I started watching the video and was like, no traction control? It's from 2007, that makes complete sense! My own GTR is from 2011 and has linked brakes, abs and traction control, bought it in February of this year with 25000km on it, it's just great. It looks great, it drives great, it sounds great and it has great fuel consumption, it loves drinking fuel when you open that throttle but there's nothing on that bike i would want to change. Aside from cruise control, everything else is just perfect.
Obviously it's also an old bike by now, 13 years old so i've changed the indicators to led switchbacks and led headlights and the works but aside from that it retains its old but slightly modern look. But for power? It has a shaft drive which cuts down some of its power but it's barely noticeable when you want to experience all the bike has to offer.

Is not boring , the more simple it is the better it is as long there is power, it’s good enough….I love my GTR 2015 Model, and after ECU re-mapping the bike is powerful…..

@@8tavian999 The ZZR1400 is the GTR but with more power and less luggage capabilities i believe, VFR is always a good choice.

I live in Australia and currently planning a 6 week trip to the UK and Europe. Plan is to buy a GTR in the Uk, do my trip and then leave it with a mate in the UK to sell. I currently own a ZX14 which is why I’m looking towards a GTR as I know the platform very well. I have a long list of countries to visit and it will probably be my last big trip by bike. I have a lot of conditioning to do before the end of June next year to be ride ready. Those roads look amazing. Great video.
