I just love the way they preform this song, it's really good, I love to see them live. I would love to hear Fred do a Johnny Cash song, he has a great deep voice. Just love this group!!!!
I love to watch this video and all the other great stuff from Young@Heart. Every single singer of the group stands for Peter Pans idea - You can grow old - but you decide if you stay Young At Heart!
Véletlenül találtam rá erre a gyöngyszemre! Nagy gratuláció az alkotóknak, közreműködőknek. Most ez a no.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unexpecting founded this brilliant video. Greath gratulation! Actually this video my favorit!!!!! :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
thank you, but no need to apologize. the antics the zimmers were asked to perform were based generally on the fact that thier first song (my generation) was originally sung by the Who, who were renowned for being a young and rowdy bunch, smashing their instruments and such. but either way, i find that, because of the physical differences seen between the young and the aged, seeing the aged perform what has been for decades "a youthful thing" makes it more worthy of praise.
i know, don't worry. of course, their origins are completely different, but both the zimmers and young@heart are in a group for the same reason. to show how you can still be respected singers even at an old age. the one difference between both groups is that the simmers were brought together, and Y@H came together. either way, they both show how you can still earn respect at their age.
@buckerm this actually his last performance with Young and Heart. At the start of "Fix You" you could hear his oxygen machine. Apparently, he never sang this style before, but was a classical singer. try and see the Young at Heart Documentary.....it was on PBS
I bought this video (the film) on iTunes the other day. Let me tell you, its one of the best films you'll ever hope to see. These folks are amazing. Side note: isn't it interesting that the tour bus they get on is a "Peter Pan" bus...never wanting to grow up :)
yeah, i know what you mean. it must have something to do with their roots, the way the band started. or perhaps its their style of singing, or because they seem friendlier. in any case, because everything in the world depends on different opinions, every is genuine, one way or another ^^
For some odd reason, I was channel flicking, and came to "OPB" - Oregon public broadcasting, - and this popped on, and it just stuck in my head. They did a very good job, considering all.
I love it I Just watched the full movie on PBS and couldnt get enough . Old people ROCK !! I loved the part where the old lady is gettin a Tatoo lmaooooo
If you haven't seen the movie (Young @ Heart), it's absolutely wonderful.
BEST GROUP EVER!

OMG, Young@Heart! I saw them ten years ago in London, and they were fucking AWESOME. Standing ovation, and I was in floods of tears. Just brilliant.
Náááádhera....miloučké...veselé....smutné...překvapující....šokující.....je tam všechno!
Simply enjoyable! Add a few easy dance moves and you can pass this off as a bollywood song ;-)

Watching the PBS special, I can admit I did feel sad. Especially when they went to the correction center/prison.

good news... only 6 people died in the making of this video.
As a grandson of Fred (Pops) I could not agree more!!!!!
What is the song off of the nerf commercial called?
