Few thing to add here. -Beretta 1934 and Nambu Type 14 slide push forward when you remove magazine is correct,it's not a flaw. -Thompson when using 20/30 round magazine should lock the bolt back when empty. -BAR M1918/A2 didn't press the magazine release. -Bren MK2,like Thompson magazine was design to lock the bolt back on empty (but yeah, most of WW2 game alway rack the bolt). -Browning M1919 unlike other MG,works like close bolt gun so there is no point pulling the charging handle before feeding the belt. -Yup,Carcarno M38 works like that when you want to unload. -PTRD should open the bolt after shooting. -MAB38 incorrectly depicted as close bolt. hope you don't mind about my nitpicking here.
Also the dp28 animation pushes the bolt forwards after pulling back like a conventional lmg. And the lebel doesn't actually load rounds into the mag, it just drops 10 onto the feed ramp
@@mav9987 Not locked per say, If I'm being honest the base game was the only planned thing, then later on people demanded more content, So the developer released DLCs, and these DLCs bring new factions, vehicles ,maps and weapons, And the developer also releases free campaigns for the base game too I know ideally you'd want everything in one package but the amount of content these DLCs bring are massive and very expensive to make let alone they were released way after the game's release, However the developer continues to support the base game and adds new equipments and vehicles that support its historical accuracy as well as improvements in graphics, animations, sound and gameplay.
@@mav9987Let me translate Russel's essay for you, yes some of them are but there are still a lot of weapons you can have in the base game comparitively, and will continue to get free weapons for the foreseeable future
Weird looking animations with so many errors. First of all, the presence of modern trigger discipline in WWII was nonexistent. There was only muzzle discipline at the time, and trigger discipline was considered as "not pulling the trigger and not being trigger happy". Second of all, so many of these weapons' functionality was so wrong, like that Walther P.38's animation. No, it doesn't close the slide when you remove the magazine. C'mon, it's not hard to find videos about the manual of arms of these guns on RUclips. Awful for a games marketed as a historically accurate war sim.
Don't worry, even with those inaccuracy, the game is quite enjoyable, I recommend playing the normandy or france campaign first. Btw, the game leans more toward arcade style shooter, the realistic scale is between BF5 and HLL, so don't expect Post Scriptum style gameplay in this. Try it once, buy the game ($9) and one DLC($5), I recommend the Normandy DLC, you can wait for sale but I think the dev and his team deserve that much.
These are actually very unique reloads when it comes to animation style, I like it.
1:53 Ian from forgotten weapons appreciates the level of love for this gun
People have been sleeping on this game
Never heard of this game till this month. It looks rough around the edges but love the features of the game.

MAB38 is an open non reciprocating bolt, hence its manually moved forward. Identical to BAR.
seems like a good WW2 gam..........WAIT, WHY THERE IS M60?? 4:26
In the game as a joke they put the m60 in the firing range
Some say that it's for modding placeholder.
Hopefully it's a hint that they'll be doing Cold War DLCs in the future
Possibly cold war or future vietnam game
Not even worse than putting a f2000 and a laser gun in ww2 era
Hard blue
Intermediate green
Impossible Yellow
Nightmare Orange
I am Death Incarnate... Pink
Difficult cyan
for anyone who played this game, is there attachments for guns that are accurate? stuff like featuring the fg42’s scope
Yes!
@@Russell970 are there weapons locked behind the expansions?

That Breda reload though lol, so satisfying
Another excellent compilation
Pretty good, you know 😮
the animations are pretty solid, just wish that the sounds were just a little bit better
Nice, but you forgot about one bullet chamber
Yeah most guns have that animation unless if the gun is impossible to chamber manually
4:26 *Since when Easy Red 2 added Time-Travel?*
Game made by one dude is miles better than Operation Harsh Doorstop
Ngl, some of the sounds are very similar to Insurgency
The hands look so.... strange

Walther P38 has currently Beretta M1934 reload animation as a temporary placeholder but the dev said it will be changed at some point.
