CZ 457 Varmint - My .22LR PRS Build

- I decided to make myself 22LR rifle, which I could use for trainings, fun and competitions. Did small study and here is my build:
Rifle: CZ 457 Varming
Base: Area 419 30 moa
Rings: Wheeler rings with bubble level
Scope: Vortex Venom 5-25
Tested ammo: S&B subsonic, Agile Target, Agile Subsocnic, Magtech, Norma TAC, RWS Subsonic HP
As final test shoot target at 300 meters, did I hit it? Check in the video)

I have the Venom 3-15X44 on my 7x64B, works fine and nice eye relief but the 5-25X56 is a better choice for the 22 to see the holes.
Took biggest magnification possible, cause mostly will hunt for cardboard 😂
If you're talking about 300 yards, forget that subsonic stuff. Gotta give you credit, I would never bring my stuff out on a day like that. Love CZ's, luck to you.

Нюанс с 22 , замеченный не только мной, при смене патрона может заметно расползаться группа... необходимо отстрелять десяток до контрольной группы...вероятно это связано с различными смазками патронов... патронов SB можно избегать, из стабильных SK standart +, RWS Target, Geco Semi Auto(но этой партии уже нет в магазинах)... Вполне приемлимо CCI SV, Agila SV, Magtech SV
да, как домой приехал я про это подумал, дождь зараза весь настрой сбил когда снимали)
I hope you dismantled everything and dried it all out thoroughly and oiled/lubricated everything including the bore.
Would just be a pile of rust if not in those conditions.
Did you have any trouble getting the left hand version?

Yeah, took some time to dry it out. Actually I was lucky and there was only left handed version available at the shop 😁Fingers crossed to see the sun and thank you for comment. Really enjoying when people giving some feedback!

Btw, how it performs? Was thinking about getting one of these :) For magneetospeed will test increasing sensitivity. Completely forgot about it during range day :)
@@rungunpeppers Seen it working at the range a couple times. it’s just a fantastic little piece of equipment. My local store sold a ton of them. I won mine at my club drawing but haven’t use it. I don’t reload anymore.

My CZ 457 MTR 20" shoots sub MOA out to 100 meters using SK Rifle Match.If there is more than one hole at 50 meters it's usually my fault.
