Hey! Not sure why this video is getting a bunch of attention all of a sudden, maybe it's because of the new Modern Warfare 2022 coming out soon? Either way, thank you all for being here and watching the run. I just wanted to clarify a few things about the run that seem to be confusing to some people: Am I taking less damage than normal? No. All of these levels were played on veteran. On PC and on high framerates, even things like damage taken and health regen are skewed from what you would be used to if you played on PS3 or Xbox. Veteran Spec Ops on console is much harder to run due to taking more damage in general. Am I speed hacking or moving faster than normal? No. Again, on PC your framerate has a huge affect on how the game runs. If your framerate goes higher than 300, weird things start to happen. Things like climbing ladders are very weird on these high framerates (15:52) and they get weirder the higher you go. I recently capped my FPS to 240 and the game runs much smoother now and my movement has improved. Can you do this on console? Yes! It would be harder to run on console, but everything done in this run is possible on console. Yes, even the strafe movement and strafe jumps. A good player on the right sensitivity can strafe better on a controller than I can on PC. I promise I'm not that good. The current world record is held by Klooger at a 40:47. His run is quite good and has few mistakes. I'd encourage you all to check him out. He runs all the Call of Duty games on PC and he streams his runs on Twitch at twitch.tv/Klooger . He's much better at this than I am and he was my inspiration to try this run in the first place. If you have any other questions feel free to leave a comment. I hope you guys enjoyed the run and let me know what brought you to this video in the first place. Thanks!
Seriously was. They’re calling the next call of duty “modern warfare 2” and I really hope they get back to how this game played and felt. I know nostalgia creates some favoritism but nothing has been as cool as this CoD with just how epic everything felt.
Holy shit I thought I never would’ve seen a MW2 spec ops speed run but here I am. It’s currently 2 AM as I’m watching this and it brought back so many memories as a kid when i used to try to beat these on veteran and thought it was impossible lol. Good stuff bro.
Back in the day we'd love to shit on MW2 and MW3. " mw2 mw3 are glorified DLCs that just advance the storyline without upgrading much of the gameplay", people used to say before COD Ghost. Oh, what we'd trade for a game the same caliber of those 2 now..
You can't imagine how thrilling this was for me to watch! What started as a general quick view of your spectacular video ended in watching each and every minute and second of this video with eyes open, full attention, and accelerating heartbeats. I enjoyed your playing style and was amazed to see such a terrific performance. Thank you so much, bro, for recording and sharing this. I'm exactly as proud of you as I am of Captin Price :D
Man nice speedrun, in a few missions on the spec ops I couldn´t pass the missions, but when I watched your video this helped me like a guide to pass the missions. I replayed this game in 2023 again.
I can't even do any of these in my entire 20 hrs spent on campaign and spec ops. Damn, great job. Your High explosives on veteran is unbelievable and I learned how to reload the thumper faster. Thanks!
there were so many points in this run where it looks like you're 1 tap from death. way to keep your composure, even on the brink like the final trio on Cristo. great stuff
Mw2 was, is, and always will be the best Call of Duty ever… every single aspect of this game was top-tier… the only let down for me was it’s lack of security allowing for mod-menu’s to plague it continually for what felt like an eternity, but the actual game itself.. unbeatable.
Crossing my fingers hoping that ACTUAL Spec Ops comes back for this years game. Anyway, it's always strange to watch games you used to struggle with just being demolished by a speedrunner.
Man... great gameplay, nice tactics I remember playing MW2 spec ops with my friend, completing every mission on 3 stars except The Pit lol... Ah, the good, simple, old times...
That was awesome! I played a ton of spec ops growing up with my brother, we sunk hours into attempting to complete everything at veteran difficulty over the years. It’s crazy seeing how quickly you were able to complete everything, especially O Cristo Redentor, never would’ve thought akimbo UZIs would work so well lol.
This mode on veteran will make you an FPS legend, no game can reach this type of quality and crazyness. The music also makes it better along with the voices
Call of duty can never be this good again. Snipers, shotguns, smgs, lmgs, ars, launchers, stun grenades, sprinting to dodge bullets, melee all highly effective. It's hard to imagine a game that's not out of balance now. Usually everyone wants to max out the same 2 or 3 guns. That are broken and then when new guns come out with dlcs they are the new best weapons so everyone wants to pay to get them.
When I used to play this alot at one point I figured out that if you leave the enemies alone in the start of a level no more would spawn later in the level making it alot about if you can just survive the first part of it and run away it was an easy clear, I feel that levels like snatch and grab would be way harder without this mechanic
This and TImespliiters really make you an FPS legend if you ace them. No games can reach that moment. It is like you're playing a completely different game that keeps you engaged
Me and my cousin had a difficult time doing this. We used tactics, strategy you name it. But after watching this..... no words can describe on how I'm thinking hahaha
Never realized a 240 could shred helicopters like that, I always tried to hit them with the RPG's which I guess explains why I never beat homeland security
Nostalgia. I played with my friend on Xbox 360. We tried do all mission on veteran but we were too weak for this level haha. Now I'm waiting for Modern Warfare II beacuse mwii will have spec ops
I'm playing this in like 300 fps or something. If you watch Hidden, you can see me climb the ladder way faster than normal, and this is because of playing on high framerate. I recently fixed a lot of my settings so the game should look even better and smoother in the future.

just popped up in my recommended! great run :)
funny i just went out of my way to find sb doing this, and you just happened to be the first. Nonetheless a good watch
I used to do this on xbox when I was a bit younger and this is still the best call of duty game
Recommended after watching a Sonic mania speed run
Algorithm brought us here, 1v1 me Rust no balls :>
Best COD ever. These missions were one of the best part of the game.

actually he had the world record for overall time. someone could have had a better time in that specific mission

That Juggernaut music (drums)... Still gives me chills
Only the goat Hans Zimmer can do such a fantastic soundtrack
GG
apparently he only made the main theme for this game. some other guy uncredited made the rest….
@@sx3708 lorne balfe
Those drums used to freak me the F out…
@@sx3708 He helped Lorne compose the rest of the soundtrack, his name is in the credits.
Neon: *Fights 15 Juggernauts on an oil platform on veteran with a sniper and a Grenade launcher*

Just watching this for nostalgia reason when I saw that “Hidden” run and was in awe when you clipped though the wall onto the roof 👀
The coop mode was so dope. I need this fully remastered
Literally days of my life summarized so quickly and so masterfully. Well done.
Watching Speedruns of this game never gets old. So satisfying everytime.

Thought this was a reupload for a sec. Good shit dude!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to another Sly record!
Fkin nuts dude. You've had to have ran these missions so many times to achieve something like this.
Another WR? Damn bro you're killing it
this was alot of fun to watch. that glitch in hidden was pretty epic
Honestly, I'm just amazed by your precision and reaction time! Great run!
I didn't know that there are so many turrets on homeland security :D
nice run
Back then my sister and I did all the missions on veteran co-op, it was so much fun
4:09 hahaha the 4 synchronized ragdolls
Crossing my fingers hoping that ACTUAL Spec Ops comes back for this years game. Anyway, it's always strange to watch games you used to struggle with just being demolished by a speedrunner.
This is crazy! Awesome work
Straight up cutting 5mins off the last WR, keep it up! 😎

My man beat O Cristo in 2:28 but I could barely beat it in 15:00 and that was after about 5 or 6 attempts. My man is a gamer for sure.
You saw how he beat homeland security??? Freaking remarkable!
@@UserIcon ikr!?
Played this for first time in years, amazing to see you destroy it
MVP: that green car in high explosive

Let’s go man!! Good shit
Snatch and Grab is the hardest Spec Ops mission to this day
I just want to say I'm still here in 2024. Fun run! Gives me good nostalgia even as my friends and I have died trying to do this at 1/100th the speed.
This mode on veteran will make you an FPS legend, no game can reach this type of quality and crazyness. The music also makes it better along with the voices
Took me two hours back then to beat the last two spec ops lol youre a beast

This is my first time watching a speed run video and holy crap! Nice
Good shit with the Barrett on sniper fi, that was very nice to watch! :)
I never knew the juggs died so fast to headshots with the thumper... i always used the out of bounds area to cheese em around the stairs
Me and my brother had such great times trying to get those 3 stars together. I miss those times, much simpler times.
Been watching you grind on twitch! the grind is paying off now!
Imagine how terrifying the frantic akimbo uzi guy in the favela would be irl 😂
Wow. It took me and my brother literal days to beat some of these missions on veteran, great times though! Nice run!
Imagine playing multiplayer with them, scary stuff
With a lot of practice you can get to that level.
currently doing all stars rn bc i didnt finish as a little one had to see how real ones do it
When I used to play this alot at one point I figured out that if you leave the enemies alone in the start of a level no more would spawn later in the level making it alot about if you can just survive the first part of it and run away it was an easy clear, I feel that levels like snatch and grab would be way harder without this mechanic

This skill is unmatched God level ❤❤
15:55 i did not expect that
Remember playing coop with my big bro on ps3 with split screen
Good old times
Me and my cousin had a difficult time doing this. We used tactics, strategy you name it. But after watching this..... no words can describe on how I'm thinking hahaha
So sick to watch. How do you wipe out those 10 hostiles @22:57 ? Headcount jumps from 32 to 22 after a single shot
Enemies are dying to my sentry guns, claymores etc at the same time I'm spraying the spawn with the sniper
7:47
Holy shit. I've never seen this before.
Absolutely insane bro!
Snatch and Grab, Wardriving have been driving me crazy
Good sly cooper speedrun. How you get these good guns?
Never realized a 240 could shred helicopters like that, I always tried to hit them with the RPG's which I guess explains why I never beat homeland security
thats a disgusting high explosive run through ggs
Still unsure why these weren't on the remake few years back
My dumb ass was thinking, oh 44 minutes on Veteran Hidden? That’s about the same time I run it! Little did I know…
I’m hella impressed!
If you could move like this on cod now I’d be so happy
Im 25 now and I swear my biggest fear when I was 13 was the fucking juggernauts, that freaking sound they make was scary af
OMG! I really like the way u use dual UZI💪💪💪
We getting a mw3 veterans pec ops speedrun before the new 2022 game?
I remember in 2019 i finished all special ops solo "veteran" 3 stars with only ( 35:57:08 minutes! ) it was so sick and taking a work hard of me.
Nostalgia. I played with my friend on Xbox 360. We tried do all mission on veteran but we were too weak for this level haha. Now I'm waiting for Modern Warfare II beacuse mwii will have spec ops
25:16 I can just imagine the amount of stress you've felt after losing a few times
Juggernauts made me feel scared and you just acted like their reskined enemies in snatch and grab
That glitch you did on Hidden, can you do that ladder trick to get oob with controller too?
Yes!
Wow! Ur a genius i just finished the mission by this trick thank you 😘
this guy on evasion: *stealth is for losers*
37:58 that flash tho
Remenba, switching is always faster than reloading
Anyone else tell themselves hey I'll watch the first few, and then end up watching the entire video lol
this video doing numbers Chatting
Sniping was awesome
How do you do that thing where you skip the slow motion in wet work (final breach)
If enough enemies are alive in the previous sections the game can't spawn any more inside the final room when you breach
A M A Z I N G way to kill!
My toxic trait is thinking I can beat this
11:40 grenade said "i need a friend :( "
Pretty good but lemme know when you can solo big brother
Are you playing in 60 fps or is it the video quality making it look incredibly smooth?
I'm playing this in like 300 fps or something. If you watch Hidden, you can see me climb the ladder way faster than normal, and this is because of playing on high framerate. I recently fixed a lot of my settings so the game should look even better and smoother in the future.
@@taymneon Wow. Im glad this old game can handle that kind of frame rate. Looks a crap ton better than it does on PS3 and 360.
Beautiful 👌
daym bro !
wha wha HOW HOW has ghost seen better HOW DID YOU RUN THREW IT LIKE THAT
Very nice!
Perfect
14:05 impressive
Aren't there missions thats require you to play with 2 people?
There are indeed, but this is solo
I don’t have the last 3 stages on 3 ⭐️
wow awesome
the favela levels is just brazil and the rest of latin america in a nutshell
不可能...受重傷的回復時間根本沒這麼短,而且高難度的敵人都是槍槍暴頭,第一秒沒舉槍殺掉下一秒不是重傷就是死
I’d say snatch & grab was hardest for me
Imagine this was the first time he ever played 🤣
