On the variety show, someone would say something that would make the Emu angry, and the bird would start biting the offender. On the kids' show, Emu would just be rather mischievous with his puppeteer. In one routine, for example, Rod Hull would paint a picture of Emu, then tell him to "Paint me." But, instead of painting a picture of Hull on a canvas, Emu would take the paintbrush in his mouth and start painting all over Hull's face.

In most of these i find myself siding with the celebrity. MOST of them. There’s a lot of interviewers who just simply won’t let up about certain things, or try to get the interviewee riled up on purpose. It’s good that the artists stood up and held boundaries, you have to do that as a famous person or else they’ll mop the floor with you. But then, in this day and age, it’ll still be made a big deal of and you’ll probably be hearing about it for years after.
Jim Rome completely deserved that. He was later forced to apologize, but gave the most backhanded 'apology' later when told he needed to apologize. Jim Everett said he'd do it again too. lol.
The interview with Rod Hull and Emu was pretty good TV- obviously Rod had the upper hand there. Sadly, the cameras were cut and we never got to see an even funnier conclusion to this. Emu- Parkinson II took place soon after also involving one of his next guests - Billy Connolly. Ive heard a few versions of this of this but essentially it features one of Connollys great lines "you peck me , I'll break your neck and his bloody arm"...

@@NDCCMTX I know mate. One rule for them, another for the rest of us 😆
Should've included Kanye's infamous interview with Sway. "You ain't got the answers Sway!" "How Sway?!!" Freakin' legendary.
Naw the one recently where he's got a fuckin sock on his head telling Alex Jones he loves Hitler and even Jones is visibly concerned like dude we can't say that part out loud 😂
Or when Jones was interviewed by Andrew Callaghan and he's like I killed the babies like bro STFU ya little weasel no one is gonna give you empathy 😂
Went to a fight and a talk show broke out!!!
Omg, i remember the Rod and Emu attack. It was hilarious back then, and it still is hilarious. Spit the dog also caused a lot of trouble on tv 🤣🤣
5:33 he pushed the actor almost to a point of tears? Really? Dude got shut down by a boss.
Robert was actually coughing not crying.
For those that are complaining that the entire interviews weren’t played, that would have caused this to be a two hour plus episode, I don’t think that was their intention. You know you can just look up on RUclips the interviews you are interested in 👀
Joan Rivers shut that interview down. " When Emus attack"
Hello Parakeet
how are you doing today?
Grace jones. He was very rude, and she called him out on it. Good for her!
Hartys producer saw american chat show hosts sit in the middle of guests.Hartys mistake was to face the guest he is talking to leaving Jones isolated.
The seating arrangement was bad, but her reaction was ridiculous.
@@gavinreid8937 That was a bad idea - all the guests should be in front of the host.
@Dominic Wileman It's no reason to hit the host. Harty was gay; this altercation had nothing to do with sexual orientation or race.
Before you judge her for being rude she wasnt she said in rehersal for the show the chairs were all next to eachother so when they were live and everyone was turned away from her she wanted to know why because she didnt want to be talking with his back to her like her wasnt intrested in talking to her witch he made very clear thats what he was doing because why else would he have said so i dont have to look at you one of my biggest hates is people talking with there backs to me and find it so rude i think russell was being sexist racisit and dam rude to grace and im actually glad she hit him
These AREN'T Fights. IF you want to see a Fight Search *Geraldo suffers broken nose from racial fight*
. That is a Fight Without a doubt the most violent fight I've seen during an interview. It's brutal.
David Letterman’s interview of Crispin Glover should’ve made this list.
Dam right lol. Epic that one was.
It was a set up.
Oliver Reed handled that well. You can tell he had to hold back his laughter. Well done.
He was adorable! I never allow anyone to say anything bad against that wonderful man
he seemed just as surprised as anybody else.
@@d.e.p.5624 Just like me!
he was a sexist pig and a drunk. Am I " allowed " to say that ? LOL@@d.e.p.5624
My favorite part was where i had to read the lips of the people in the clip
I partied with Grace Jones on new years in 1990 or 91. She performed at this huge club. But was so late most people asked for their money back and left. We stayed at that club on stage dancing together and just talked til the hangover kicked in.
Doubt
@@BeeHatGuy haha. I was there mini mouse. Lmao I have pictures. Lmao. Wow. People just loved to hate.

I was in that same club too. Me and Arnold Schwarzenegger (a big star at that time) snorted cocaine in the toilets.
@@BeeHatGuy projection. DOUBTER
Should have seen Rod Hull and Emu with female celebrities. All I can say very naughty bird.
One of the few times Connaly was actually funny.
3:55 Gamgsta till his guests walked out 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣
Rkelly sing so good even when he yelling he’s singing 😂
Jim Rome has admitted he was wrong and has grown as an interviewer, also he no longer makes Nick names that are insulting to the athletes
Jim Rome is a punk.
I would have made him a lot sorrier.
@@billwhite9703 Ooh, you a scary man, eh?
A public asskicking will tend to do that.
As funny and deserving as I thought it was Rome had it coming. Since then he has matured a great deal. I think he is very good at what he does and really can’t criticize him. Sometimes an azz kicking is good for any man.
Should have had the one with Leon ‘Vader’ White having his hands around the interviewer’s throat whilst on Kuwait TV after he’d been asked if wrestling was fake.
It was set up and the only one who didn't know was was the poor dude that vader grabbed 🤣
I absolutely can't stand Gayle King as a journalist but in that moment with R Kelly, I was actually scared for her.
He picked an odd way to prove he wasn't an abusive predator. I felt sick with fear when I saw the interview.
Nah! He was just having a meltdown and it wasn't directed towards her. She kept her composure like a true professional. She was never in any real danger.
Can't stand Gayle and her racist sister oprah!
You forgot to put the fight between Mark summers and Burt Reynolds
Burt tried to knock him out with that pie

Should have gone back further and showed Geraldo getting smashed with a chair to the face😂
I mistook him for a waiter at an event I attended. I have him a tip.😂
You missed by far the #1. Mike Tyson on a Canadian morning news show.
😂 that one was really good😂
He had a couple more interviews after that and around that time that was just like that
Love Mike on that ...
Mike - Fuck you piece of shit
Interviewer - Mike we are live
Mike- I don't give a fuck what you going to do😅
Oh yeah, that guy got off lightly. Really was out of line, trying to embarrass Mike like that on National TV. And the interviewer didnt think he did anything wrong.
Omg yes🤣😂🤣😂
I don't blame these celebrities for their negative reactions! The interviewers are jerks and get too personal, arrogant and carried away.
Aw shit, I clicked on it before realizing it was a Mojo video.
Hahaha...
That's exactly how I feel after getting suckered into watching one of their videos.
Micheal Parkinson and EMu should have been number 1 it was so iconic
I love hearing you tell me all about the interviews instead of watching it for my self. So much better
I’m totally against fur or leather but the interviewer was extremely rude with a smiling face and had no reason to put Joan on the spot like that. She comes off looking completely ridiculous and totally unprofessional
I hated her fake smile, while she was being a vicious rattlesnake.
Normally I like Fredericka Whitfield, and I think she's matured somewhat as a journalist... but in this interview she comes off as a disingenuous troll.
shes a comedian, "ooh you're too negative", learn to take a joke lady.
The Jim Everett incident makes the Oscars slap look tame
Idk, there were no fists/hands to the face in that one unlike the Will Smith bitchslap. But it’s still very satisfying
@@diegstroX8032 imagine if there were no cameras lol
The difference is the intent was disrespect, it continued over 2 years and he was warned. Now. There is no similarity. One was justified, one was not.
Jim Everett should have stomped a mud hole in that little prick.
That Joan Rivers interview was clearly a marketing plot for her book. She was good at that!

Oh CNN? I thought it was going to be a real interview. You go Joan!
If the narrator would shut up for a second maybe we could listen to what was actually happening?
I love Joan Rivers she was so real
Not with that plastic face!!!...
She was too real, too candid for some from her obvious arranged demise.
That host was making snarky remarks with a smile....
Stirring the chit pot is what she was doing.
Geraldo just so serious with those "skinheads".
That Jim on Jim fight seemed like a scripted skit but it was golden regardless
I love The Bee Gees they made great music 💝

Can't blame Kim for loosing it with Coleen, she planned that interview to completely turn the narrative in her favour with her friends and crew to back her up.

Anyone who is interviewed by krishnan guru-murthy turns into a fight.
Gerry Springer had fights every day on his show.
David Schultz smacking around John Stossel should have been in the list.
Jim Rome knew that Jim Everett wouldn't strike him and used that as an opportunity to look like a tough guy and call him "Chris" again. Lucky for him Jim Everett is as smart as he looks.
