nothing wrong with crying, but crying when there's still time left on the clock and a chance to win and you're supposed to be a great player doesn't look good

College ball legend, played with Kobe and even got a ring. He did better than many could ever dream.

That Hornets team was horrifically bad, and it wasn't because of him. He actually had some flashes of great play during the season (12 20+ point games and a 30 point game), which wasn't terrible for a rookie, especially in that era of slower paced/lower scoring ball. But his career was effectively ended by that knee injury before his second season, and you have to wonder if his diabetes made it impossible to fully recover from it.

It's amazing he made it as far as he did. People don't quite understand how T1D impacts your ability to play and how people (coaches, trainers, etc.) perceive you. And, people don't quite get that this was before huge advances in technology that made treating the disease easier to manage. Good on him!

“I could understand why you knock him from the couch “ people don’t understand how bad certain people wanted to make it

Morrison is an analyst now for Gonzaga, and he even went nuts when his college scored a buzzer beater against a team that tormented him. He has also shared fond memories of Kobe in interviews he’s done. By winning more rings than some HOFers who never won one, at least Morrison has won at life.

Used to work with his cousin. He said it was just too difficult for him coming back from injuries with his condition.

Considering he had type 1 diabetes, it’s insane he even made it that far to begin with. Especially on a sport that is cardio demanding. Sure he was a bust in the end but that alone tells me he wanted it badly and didn’t take no for an answer. It was just one of those situations where he hit a wall that he physically wouldn’t overcome. Practically a ticking time bomb of sorts.

Not showering was actually a strategy. It’s hard to guard somebody that just smells like ass, you gotta take a step back. No, but he took terrible care of himself.

The Lakers paid him over $111,000 per point over two seasons. He's a legend!

I played against him in high school. He was goofy looking. Kinda hunch backed and ran weird. But at the end of the game he had like 30 points off of like all these random mid range jumpers

I knew Adam Morrison a bit because I worked with the same trainer that he was using. His trainer kept telling me that he hated doing workouts and didn’t want to do them 100%. It transitioned to how he played in games
