I was a promotions clerk at Personnel Service Detachment once upon a time. My advice to anyone is get your points posted up as soon as you can when you earn them and if you take civilian education classes make damn sure it is with an accredited university or college. There were a lot of guys who took night classes at some fly by night university, spent a lot of money and then found out that the school wasn't officially accredited. So do your research on that first.
@@dangerzone6372 Most all CONUS posts have education centers I believe where you can do night courses for college credit. I'm about 20+ years out of date from being in the Army though, so you should do some research on this yourself. Generally, they want you to get educated while in active duty. It helps army to have better educated soldiers. However, they then screw with you when you go on year or more deployments. There are correspondence courses that are also available, just make sure they're accredited or you're wasting your time and money.
Getting shipped out to basic as an E3 and definitely going with the intention to rank up to E4 ASAP got this out right on time thanks man appreciate you 💪🏽 11B gang 😤
My son just left BCT now he's at AIT 17 echo. E3 right out the box with no college,JROTC or boy scout. Airborne right after AIT. Hopefully he gets Germany as first duty station.
Any advice on how to lose weight, I am losing it to enlist. I want to be a 68W also. I am already drinking a gallon of water a day and Fasting 16-8 every day. Last night I started jump-roping for 30 minutes.
Runs and long rucks if you dont know what rucking is(i didnt before i joined) you should prolly start with 25 pounds and be able to do that for hours roughly 6 miles and scaling up weight and length slowly
Honestly, it wasn’t that bad, I had a good company and we got to live in the new barracks. What’s sucks is that I went in during summer and it was pretty damn hot, I’ve head the winter is freezing cold too. Also, you eat MREs everyday, from week 1 until the last week. Only during graduation week do you get to enjoy food from the dining facility. It’s gonna be lame anyways cuzz it’s basic. You don’t havemuch to do but what your told. Don’t let this deter you tho, just keep your head up and have some good friends to lift you up
@@daggerdipjih2904 well in my experience which was march of 2020 almost 2 years ago now, The training isn’t too hard but Ft.Sill the weather is a bitch. I went in march being from the desert expecting the heat which was easy but first week the winds went so hard at 5 in the morning it blew so hard it started snowing then the rest of the day it was hot as fuck then a week from then it was cold the whole day then hail then tornado warning shit goes crazy but I loved it though I absolutely hate Sill
