Wishing we could one day induct them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We still LOVE the classic lineup of the AUSSIE Little River Band here in the USA!!!
They were immediately embraced by America as one more amongst the many great U.S. groups of the time. I was a teen then. Didn’t realize they were Australian til I was an adult. Especially Shorrock and his voice with that heartland soul. That’s why we revolted after he was ousted. The relatability was gone.
Exactly. John Farnham is undoubtedly a great singer, but Glenn Shorrock *IS* The Voice Of Little River Band. Eventually they realized what a stupid decision they had made to oust him.
Great memories of my younger days. I live in the U.S.and am disgusted with the stealing of the band's name by the crappy cover band that uses it. Thank you guys for the real music and real memories. Keep on rocking!!

@@ShorrockBirtlesGobleI grew up in America listening to your music as a teenager in the 70's and 80's and I believe [Glenn's] amazing voice has always been much underrated for it's so strong; crisp; clear; and never "off key" - especially on “Take It Easy On Me”, one of my faves (unlike most singers today who can barely carry a note in a bucket)! 😝 Your long overdue for the 'Rock & Roll Hall of Fame' as there's been much lesser bands/artists with nowhere near the talent that's made it in... I'll be one that will NEVER return to visit until the ones that deserve to be there get [their] induction that's due! 🥰🫶🏼
Wonderful band. You don't realise how many great songs they came out with. I never got to see them in concert until a few years back when Glen sang at Sandstone Point. Wouldn't it be great to see them one more time in this line up for a concert. I miss those days.
Happy Birthday. To a man who gave this old American guy some of the greatest memories of my life through his gift of music. Wishing you the best. Sad I never got to see you live. But your music in the 70s into 80s were so important to my history. My family most who ive lost. My yougest sister was 43 when i lost her nearly 17 years ago. Her birthday july was 2nd lost her on june 28th. Reminiscing was her favorite song of all time . I sang some of it to her. Seemed to perk her right up. Now I always loved the song but often makes me cry. So thanks for sharing your genius of music to leave me with fabulous memories. In America you're songs were always playing. Still are. Best wishes to you and thanks!!!!👍☮️😊👍🇺🇸
Congratulations. I grew up in Southern California and Sleeper Catcher was released when I was in high school. It was among my favorite records. I probably heard it a hundred times. I saw you at the Santa Barbara Bowl when you toured. Great memories. Thanks.
They sure cranked out a lot of wonderful songs... so glad they have been recognized for their AMAZING talent!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! ❤from USA (wonderful humble acceptance speeches.. nice job!!)
SHOUT OUT to Briggsy and Slack McLauchlan who I got to know many years ago at The Roxy Hotel in South Melbourne, you guys are amazing. THANK YOU The REAL Little River Band
Thanks John. We wish, but the American band threaten us with legal action. If interested, please check out our new online museum www.shorrockbirtlesgoble.com Please come and say hi to us on the facebook page. facebook.com/groups/TheRealOrignalLittleRiverBand
Very unique that the classic Little River Band had a lefthanded guitarist and a lefthanded bassist in the classic lineup. Very rare to have 2 lefthanded guitarist/bassist in the lineup.
I became a fan of LRB when I found the video of them performing "Man On Your Mind" with John Farnham. Now I'm working backwards and devouring all the early material 😎👌🏼
Incredible that they jump on stage 45 years or so later, and song/play to near recording standard. I don't understand the low number of views or comments, thankfully the historic record sales and radio airplay tell a different story.
Wish this line-up would tour the US. Could you just use all your last names? Like Glenn, Graeham and Beeb did (just add the other three names). The band Yes did something similar when four members toured (as Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe). So many people want too see the original guys live.
Little River Band released 11 albums with at least 1 founding member within the band. The classic line up is just really 2 1/2 albums . All 11 albums from 1975 to 1990 and revolving members that made them should be given credit for them . The albums made after 1990 don’t have any original members and no Australians so zero interest should be given. It’s great that Graham gave John Farnham some credit Farnham’s era is underrated so important in Farnham’s musical development . Without LRB Farnham’s Whispering Jack wouldn’t have happened. So with LRB Original lineup 2 albums Classic line up 3 albums Time Exposure line up 1 album Farnham Era line up 3 albums Shorrock Return up 2 albums
Its like the Beach Boys aren't the beach boys. One member stole the name and rights to half the music he didnt create. Shameful this happens to.the real talent. Everyone knows that voice. No copies no mistaking. Glenn Shorrock!!!😊👍🇺🇸☮️

They should be in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame, too.
Certainly before the Rappers !
One of the best bands EVER!

Wefans all know Glenn is the real LRB. The phonies can't fool true fans. Us who grew up with their music.👍🇺🇸☮️

Oh my gosh, his voice still melts me.
I play the original videos from RUclips in my garage every day in in three working on building trucks. Love you guys.
Surprised not more comments. They had a lot of hits back then. Some great musical memories. True musicians and artists.

They still got it. And they played their all-time best song (IMO) and it's also the track that broke them here in America in 1977.

Awesome performance! LITTLE RIVER BAND has always been a favorite of mine for years. Love the harmony, music .
Lady came out when I was in Jr. High. One song is all it took. Been a raging fan ever since.
Fuck it.. These guys are The Litlle River Band.. ..
Agree, screw Stephen Housden and the latest joke band.
I am happy for them ! I love Graeme for being so nice to add John .Farnham to this . John was wonderful and fun in this group !
Oh! The REAL Little River Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love LRB. Nothing like singing along with their outstanding harmony!

Great band. Thrilled I was able to see the classic lineup in Philadelphia way back when!
This performance makes me smile. Man they sounded great here.
SHOUT OUT to Briggsy and Slack McLauchlan who I got to know many years ago at The Roxy Hotel in South Melbourne, you guys are amazing. THANK YOU The REAL Little River Band
One of the best bands in the whole WW. ❤️❤️
Thank you Glenn for putting this up. Looking forward to seeing you sing at the Palms in July
Love it. I wish you would tour the US. Call yourselves The Band Formerly Known As.
Thanks John. We wish, but the American band threaten us with legal action. If interested, please check out our new online museum www.shorrockbirtlesgoble.com Please come and say hi to us on the facebook page. facebook.com/groups/TheRealOrignalLittleRiverBand
Absolutely LOVE these guys!
I bought all their albums up to 1981 😊❤
Time Exposure yes or no? It was a great album.
Derek doing that shuffle❤
I Love this Band !
I am digging these guys lately
Great, great, GREAT band. How I wish they could take one last tour of the U.S.
Unfortunately, they can't do it using the name Little River Band.
@@magneto7930 I know because of that rat-face manager.

Yes I’m nitpicking but speed it up! Vocals are on point 👍🏻🎤😊
❤ the little river band
It's great Graeme acknowledged Farnsey
To be honest, he rarely shuts up about Farnham, but at the end of the day, it was his mistake. Look up the Darrel Cotton / Goble interview on youtube.
@markmark5269 thanks for letting me know. It was a fantastic interview!
There's only one LRB and that's the original members....
I became a fan of LRB when I found the video of them performing "Man On Your Mind" with John Farnham. Now I'm working backwards and devouring all the early material 😎👌🏼

Hey Wayne!!! Here is the LRB!!! Sounds like the original members to me. Because it is!!!
You forgot to post a date, or at least a year.
2004
Where was Wayne Nelson? He is great in LRB! He deserves a LOT of credit for being a part of LRB!
Dang .. These guys should have been able to be doing shows as LRB .. Time was kind to them... That performance was incredible
Tour as the Bigger River Band!
This band, poco and eagles are one of my fav
LRB… one of the best bands in the world. No doubt!!!
The man behind the song night owl, didn't mention, and also John Farn ham, did not mention, ohh my gosh
Graeham Goble wrote the Night Owls. He's right there onstage. John F was also mentioned 9:06.
Wish this line-up would tour the US. Could you just use all your last names? Like Glenn, Graeham and Beeb did (just add the other three names).

They could call themselves the Bigger River Band, or something that sounds like Little River Band. I wish they would do it. I would go in a heartbeat!
Best band ever
The ORIGINAL LRB!!!! Right here!! Accept no IMPOSTERS !!
Good to see Olivia 😢
The classic lineup should also be in the US rock hall of fame. But they would rather put in mainstream pop artist.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤
Killer Band
and Wayne Nelson--who like Farnham but was in the band much longer

gr8 musicians all of them. well deserved
No Wayne Nelson here. 😂
Still way better than those american fakes.
At least they kept the band going after the others quit.
The could call themselves The Huge Stream Band and people would come in droves!!!
Big Creek Band.
The one and ONLY Little River Band all other kiddie on ones are pure garbage
Shouldn't they be Thanking The Song Writers ! Producers ! Ect! What's The Wife & kids got to do With It..? Seriously.. Just Sayin !!! 😕
They are the song writers. They would be thanking themselves. They gracefully thanked all that helped them.
Cry harder
His kids weren't even thought of then either, not sure why he thanked them, they had zero to do with the band's success.
