The red is fun and I just love how you put it all together in the end. I just love the way you put everything together. You have a wonderful imagination thanks for showing us how to create your projects.
I love these boxes. I definitely am going to try to make these. The lovely light green is such a beautiful color too. With that color you can give it away anytime of the year or use different paper. Oh decisions - decisions!
Rachel, thank you for this video and your many others. It's a cold day in Texas (in the 40s!) so i am making this box, your explosion cars and Mini Miura for card swaps. LOVE them all, and your nails are looking great:)
Hi Rachel. I’m a demo from St Louis and I love you and how you share your ideas. Your talent is amazing. I share your name ALL the time with my customers, especially concerning your PP alternates and thinking outside the box. You are a true gem in this industry!
Happy New Year Rachel to you and your lovely family! I love making these little self closing boxes too. Your presentation of them is lovely (as always)! Thank you for the sizing options... We are traveling overseas right now (live in Denver CO) and I am staying in a hotel room a lot for now. Having access to RUclips and videos like yours is a God send! I will be making several of your projects after my return and so enjoy viewing your posts. Thank you for sharing and teaching, God Bless you. Diana O
Hi Linda! Hugs to you!! Here is a link to my blog: At the bottom of each blog post I share the current promotions (links to them). stampyourartout.com/blog
Hi Rachel! I am wondering if this box stands up flat on the surface. I have tried making something similar and the box it tippy, rocks back and forth. Thanks!
Thanks Cindi. Private message me via email so we can connect: stampyourartout@comcast.net In the meantime, here is the link to the online store: www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/?dbwsdemoid=25553
Hi Rachel - you have three pretty boxes there - all made with some of the NEW stunning papers - and lovely colour combos too! I appreciate having two sizes to choose from when it comes to making boxes and other 3D items! NB - I always place a sheet of copy-paper onto the cutting mat and then I put the metallic card - shiny side down - on top of that. Then I place the die and then the other cutting mat on the top for the final layer. I find layering the 'sandwich' this way prevents a 'shadow' forming around the outer edge of the die-cut. (But, sometimes this 'shadow' creates a nice effect.) Thanks for sharing ~ hugs from me to you! ~ C ~ xOx
thank you so much Christine! And thank you for your tip. It sounds like many are using either vellum, printer paper or parchment between the plate and the foil.
I know, right? I think the sun rays got it. Because when I closed my window even further for my team broadcast minutes later, there was no glare at all.
Yes, but then those who read my lips when I'm sharing can't follow along. I try to keep my demonstration in the viewable area. Sorry it bothers you. :(
I cut my foil on the back side with the die on top cutting edge down on top of the steel base plate and a cutting plate on top of the die. No scratches ever.
Love the projects.. there is calypso coral ribbon in the new Occasions catalogue . And if you are using Gelish nail products, the colour is "Warm Up The Car-Nation... matches lovely lipstick beautifully.. 💖😊.. your nails are always beautiful..
Thanks Wanda. Yes...that Calypso Coral Ribbon is different than the one one I am gifting. It actually came from the Sale-a-Bration offerings last year. I just couldn't remember when I was broadcasting live. LOL I use CND Gel polish. Now I have to go look to see the color. LOL!...
Thank you Rachel for showing, beatiful box.

Happy New Year to you too, Diana! Thank you for your sweet words. Safe travels to you!! And enjoy all your experiences. How fun!
Love these! I suspect that it's big enough that I can get both my niece & nephew's Valentine treat in one box.
It's pretty big. I guess it depends on what their valentine is. But it's a good size box for sure.
Hi Rachel, I am so glad to find you again. I need to see what's out there in Stampin Up.
Hi Linda! Hugs to you!! Here is a link to my blog: At the bottom of each blog post I share the current promotions (links to them). stampyourartout.com/blog

I love that you love math. Your projects reflect artistic thinking.!👍🏻
Thanks Joanne!
Hi Rachel! I am wondering if this box stands up flat on the surface. I have tried making something similar and the box it tippy, rocks back and forth. Thanks!
It's not completely flat because of the nature of the folds. But once an item is inside and adds some weight to the base, it's pretty good to go.

Just thought I will be making some of these to give as gifts for my not to crafty friends so they will have nice boxes for their friends and family.
Laying Vellum or parchment paper on top helps too when cutting foil.
Thanks Dagmar! Yes,...I've heard that copy/printer paper works too.
I shared this to my FB group
You're sweet. Thank you Diane!

Right?! I've seen these around for awhile. And when I finally decided to make one, I was hooked and HAD to share.

Hahaha! I love it...slow motion. Yes, I do take my time. ;)

Thanks Kerstin!
I actually like it bright like this; makes it easier for me to see.
I think it was the extreme in and out of brightness that was hard for me from my point of view. Oh well. ;)
