The trick to good French toast or as we call it back home “pain perdu” (literally, lost bread) is to use slightly stale bread so that it doesn’t fall apart. It was a way of using up the stale bread without it going to waste.
YES!! Even though I prefer more substantial breads, even white bread will hold up to soaking if it's stale. I'll usually leave the pieces of bread uncovered on the counter while I prep my eggs & heat the skillet to let them dehydrate a bit more.

Your other videos feel scripted and structured (which is not a bad thing), so even though your message is "it's never all or nothing, it's listening to what your body tells you," this video got that thought across really well.
I loved the informal style, too. I really enjoy and appreciate the more scripted and edited style, too, but this style feels more…inviting maybe? Like, “let’s do this together”?

I have to say, I really can't stand that Walden farms zero calorie syrup. It tastes like diet culture and sadness. I understand that it might be useful for some (like diabetics) but if I was avoiding added sugar I think I would just make a fruit compote or add some whipped cream
I haven’t seen the result yet, but the last one... I always laugh when people try to make something “super healthy” taste “just like!!!” something else entirely. It almost never does. Avocado toast is LIFE! An egg and caramelized onions on top is my favorite way to eat it. I add vanilla protein powder to Greg's french toast and sometimes I will put all of the ingredients in a blender and make pancakes with it.

As an Irish person with a real country mammy, the idea of that much sugar at breakfast horrifies me lol. A sweet breakfast to me would be a teaspoon of sugar on top of my porridge or cornflakes! I’ve never even had Coco Pops... but that’s probably just me being unusual and not liking chocolate.

Please don't throw away a whole bunch of egg whites because there's a bit of yolk in it, it will still whip really well, you have to add a lot of fat for it to have a real effect on the preparation, especially for us non proffessionals!!

I like oats I can drink haha! I used to love missfitandnerdy but when she started to do a lot of like adaptogens and expensive supplements stuff it put me off. Although she is very very nice, very approachable.

Please don't throw away a whole bunch of egg whites because there's a bit of yolk in it, it will still whip really well, you have to add a lot of fat for it to have a real effect on the preparation, especially for us non proffessionals!!
