First of all, I am so glad that we got a reasonably long video about Vivekji's experience of Grand Vitara short-drive instead of basic Shorts.
I got reminded of one of the earlier videos wherein you explained who you both are, what you both do, what the idea of the channel is, etc. I remember you had told us that you both used to discuss about automobile and related tech on a regular basis, and the idea behind this channel is basically the same, your discussions happening with a camera switched on to record and sharing the same with us. I hadn't really thought at that time that we'll get to know about a huge lot of information about automobile industry through your videos. This one video must be one of the best for the same reason, this contains an fairly comprehensive information about Maruti's R&D facility what Vivekji had experienced.

Thank you for the immensely informative details & history, and about the new Vitara. For fellows like me visuals are less important, though it won’t hurt. I truly appreciate the effort you take to research and place reference pictures throughout the video. Reminds me of some of the most riveting lectures at law school that has helped me in my professional life.

Ohh yeahh.. i have once spotted this car at Surat Gujarat.. and i took a photo also.. it was raining and the car just flew past us. I couldn't say which car that was. Now it is clear.

A small request..
Please do consider a tank to tank mileage test on the review vehicle if possible. I think you guys do extensive testing and an average of 30+km driving on every vehicle which can easily give a reliable mixed use case fuel economy figure. The MID mileage figures are frequently mentioned in the videos which are so unreal. For instance i am using a Tiago bs4 which shows 23kmpl+ ln the MID which is a bare 17.5 in real world.
You guys are really doing a great job. Please do consider this request.
We do real world tests. Please refer to the magazine for those. Test data will be made available here on a periodic basis later on

But I've noticed your arguments about the mileage of petrol XL6 , ignis, celerio, Honda city etc where you blindly talk about the Mileage based on MID mileage. I wish a bit more clarification on the same in the upcoming reviews can make the already industry best reviews even more reliable. 😊

Insurance institute for highway safety (IIHS)does some interesting crash tests in The USA.They conduct something called the small overlap crash test which even big car companies like benz, audi and bmw found very hard to crack until 2017.Some of their ratings are very eye opening eg- bmw 5 series (f10) had a poor rating in small overlap crashtest as did the pre 2017 a4 but the jettas that came after 2015(the final facelift we got in india) scored a good rating(both passenger and driver side) and VW did not think it was a good idea to advertise it in india..another car that had a good result in the small overlap crash was the chevy cruze(better than all the big germans)...please do check their crash ratings i am sure you guys would find it very interesting..

Just a doubt.. will the engine be on idle during crash test or it stays turned off? Any idea how much fuel the vehicle carries during crash test.. does it affect chances of a fire incident if engine is off during crash?
