Thank you so much! This was the exact part that was worn out on a Hyundai Tucson 2016 Limited 1.6. Symptom was that the window would only go down and stay down, and eventually that also stopped. Could hear the motor, so switches were working, and window could be pulled up or pushed down manually.
If your window motor still works, and switches are working, then this part is definitely worth trying as the window regulator and motor are more expensive and require much more labor to replace. I highly recommend this video, and recommend searching for other videos you that you have a better understanding of all of the moving parts and repair options.
However, one option you will not find is replacing this gear without removing the window regulator, which is possible and how I successfully completed the repair. Worse case, you need to remove the regulator panel, or possibly just the speaker to reach and fix the cables. You will need two pairs of locking clamps or locking vice-grip pliers or something similar. Once you have the interior door panel removed, remove the window motor. Confirm the motor gear teeth are still good, and that the gear teeth on the old part is in fact the problem.
Have the clamps ready, preferably with an assistant. The gear snaps into the regulator panel so, use a needle-nose plier, gently rock/pull the gear out of the regulator panel. You can see on the back of the new gear, how it snaps into the regulator panel. Keep a hand on the gear to keep it in place, but once it is loose, carefully keep tension on the cables as you untwist and remove the gear, paying attention to the twist direction. Pulling on the gear towards you keep it from twisting to maintain tension on the cables. Keep fingers on the cable and on the gear, and you should be able to create enough slack to clamp each cable as close to the regulator panel as possible in order to maintain tension on the cables.
Now you can observe how the cables wrap around the old gear, just like in this video. Orient the new gear to the old gear, and transfer the cables one at a time to the new gear. Use your fingers to keep tension on the cables and release the clamps. Final and probably most difficult step as shown in this video, reversing original direction, rotate while keeping tension on the cables. You may need to pull towards you with moderate force. You'll here a crunching/snapping sound just like in the video, and insert the gear into the panel. If all goes well, you will be able to manually and smoothly raise and lower the window. I recommend connecting power do the door switches and testing before reassembly.
