After becoming obsessed with all things Rockstar earlier this year, I started working on 3 videos about the developer. An Iceberg, an Easter egg video, and another that I won't talk about just yet. I haven't put so much work into a video like this, and it's about something I'm passionate about so it was a lot of fun to make. I really hope you guys like it too! Thanks for watching!
OUTRO SONG: G Mills, Molly McPhaul - Waterfalls chll.to/f169f86d - Игры
*This is the 2nd of 3 videos I plan to make about Rockstar Games.*
I started to develop a bit of an obsession with Rockstar earlier this year, so working on this was a ton of fun. I haven't put so much work into a video like it before, and it's been nice to work on something I'm passionate about. I hope you guys enjoy it, and thanks for watching!
Yuh.
A video about Rockstar, my favorite developer from my favorite RUclipsr, that must be a dream!
Rockstars bully is my absolute favorite
Thank you guru channels like yours and Strange Man made me realize how much I am enamored with rockstar games
I have an easter egg for you
In GTA Online, inside the arcades there are jukeboxes that control the radio, if you zoom on them you can see Madd Dogg's album, which is a reference to GTA San Andreas
(i hope I've been clear enough)
GTA 6 prediction was surprisingly on point
where is that? i watched the whole thing and i missed it
@@prod.bigbrankar literally at the ending of the video bud
@@blitzsmile5487 oh yea i see now, tbh didn't watch the online part yesterday
28:48 wow this transition was insane
Holly shit
I didn't even notice that the game changed wtf
I thought it was the same game the entire time lmfao
Bro I was hoping someone noticed because God damn thats was smooth af. I didn't even realize it changed until I saw "Prey". I was like oh fuck. So smooth
dude that was my fav part.
I love the way you made the music sound as if it was being played through the car radio. Top notch editing as always!
Thanks very much!
That and the RDR2 music subtly playing in Franklin’s house just before he switches games. Beautiful.
Was about to say the same haha, nicely done Guru👌🏼
@@BeegBeegMikeMike not only that. the housebuilding scene is on the tv too when franklin runs to the bookshelf
This video was so well made. Few content creators on youtube understand there's actually an art to editing.
28:48 this transition blew my mind.
Can you say what happened please? I didn’t understand, yet,
@@arch5. if you don't know what happened that speaks volumes on how good the transition was. the scene of the character opening the door using the numpad is from COD. the lobby it opens up into is a completely different game.
I thought it was cod the whole time no wonder the graphics look different
5:58 the music cut as if it was played in the car is so satisfying
I love this channel so much
24:13 did you ever just hate it when random big foot coming straight to you, punch you, and steal your bike for no reason
I just lost it with that punch
" i don't-"
*crack*
@@juliododd860 😂😂😂
Yeah... happened with me a couple of times this month and it's starting to get annoying!!!
i hope and pray that the last easter wants to show a VI
40:25 damn, even a post credit Easter egg! I follow you from a long time, but every time your videos get better and better. Love you Guru❤️
you guys haven't seen this yet ruclips.net/video/-ArG7pkd5No/видео.html
But what does that hint at, might I ask?
@@thediamndjvck late reply, but It's hinting the new grand theft auto, GTA VI (6)
@@nitroh4058the teaser is from november 2020💀
28:47 smoothest transition
0 5 1
No it’s not
@@shuvkech yeah sorry
@@shuvkech bruh how is it not smooth he switched between 2 games and i didn't even realize it until it was mentioned in the comments (when he opened the door)
28:47 that transition was so smooth I thought it was still MW 2019 for a second.
same here
for a second my brain went smooth... i wonder how they do it, the name of the effect
@@drewinsur7321 Masking done very well
It's still rdr2
i don't get it what's smooth about it
28:46 is the smoothest transition I’ve ever seen in my entire life, bravo Guru
20:59 is my fav transition with the music to 2013 the golden year
This is so well made. Damn those transitions are smooth.
Ikr. The true crime footage on the case of a PS2 game was amazing. Never seen it before. Truly unique.
Fun Fact: The secret alley in GTA III reappears in GTA Liberty City Stories. In the PSP version, the wall reads "Hello again!" while in the PS2 port it reads "You just can't get enough of this alley, can you?"
No, no we can't.
Lol
I've never seen the ps2 version of that sign. Probably because it runs awful and has no more content
Max Payne 3 was fantastic. That game holds a special place in my heart. The tone of the game, the music, the art style, it was brilliant.
Same here bro. Completed the 1st and 2nd part when i was a child and always thought of completing the 3rd part but my pc at that time could not support it. But, finally when i got a laptop in my engineering days i played and completed MAX PAYNE 3. It was a great feeling to see such a good end of MAX. (though my laptop had only integrated graphics, hence i had to play in low settings with around 30fps or low)
Mee to ❤
I actually loved how he looked at himself in 25:55
4:01 Dude really edited the arm to go into the skeleton and left the plate empty. Insane editing skills, honestly one of the main reasons I watch your content. Nicely done.
Get ready for the transition between Modern Warfare and Prey
@@theendeeminer21 yeah omg that transition was insane
28:48 That Goddamn God tier Transition
That seamless transition at 28:40 tho
38:10
Another thing to note is the paintings you can steal during the Cayo Perico heist. I remember stealing a painting depicting a church that looks an awful lot like the one in Valentine, in RDR2.

28:46 DUDE
I didn't understand what happened the first time, that was brilliant
2:16 that shot legit looked like straight from a movie
Fun Fact: True Crime, the game that was mocked by Rockstar, later became Sleeping Dogs.
Yea. I hate how they abandoned sleeping dogs 2
@@xxdatrichboixx Think the devs went bankrupt. Very unfortunate I loved Sleeping Dogs dearly and a late friend of mine spent hours playing it with me... Too bad we'll never be those kids again
@@hope6840 ohh man that's crazy

Hi guru, maybe you'll see this bc I'm early but I've been a huge fan of yours for years now and it's so cool seeing you improve with each upload. Thanks for always making the best content you can deliver. Cheers!

28:48 Holy shit that was so buttery smooth it's making me fat
The quality of your videos is absolutely outstanding.
I’ve been following your channel since middle school and I’m about to start a degree this year, and in these 8 years your content has only gone upwards quality wise.
What made your channel so special when I was a little kid still remains and it’s that love you got for secrets and the time and effort you put in these videos.
Much love and keep up with these!
Thanks so much, Alonso! Good luck on your degree! 😊
This was such a good video, between the cool transition effects and the music from the next game starting before you change games and have the protag inside a vehicle with the music playing until they leave the vehicle and it stops as if they were hearing it on the radio.
*Chef's Kiss* Well done as always Guru, another video -> another banger.
Can we appreciate that he actualy got it perfectly in the center? *1:29*
He has a good gaming chair
@@MesaLoveYou lmao
@@MesaLoveYou u killed me 😂
I’m pretty sure one of the first Easter eggs I ever saw was the beating heart in the statue on this channel years and years ago. Thanks for all the years of hard work guru.

That hit me to hard
14:24 I didn't know he had you on speed dial.
Damnit I wanted to point it out lmao
You have found Guru's Easter Egg!
@@Trimint123 Yes I did, baby!
I'm really intrigued on how the story of that Giant has ended in RDR2.
Reddit is slowly finding it in the code. You could apparently have saved him from the hunters since he has a pre and post time skip model
I really wanted to be the giants friend
@@bruvify8517 me 2 man,he looks like a good person who wants to be accepted among people :(
12:37 you didn't put a jumpscare warning
2:05 this transition was just dope, the way how you switch to Vice city 😂😂🔥
I'm always a sucker for good editing, and this is gonna keep me going for WEEKS
The Transition at 28:45 was amazing btw
This was perfection, your editing is god-like at this point bro!
So much passion is put into these videos, keep it up!

Damn man😂🤣Arthur is a badass.
Congratulations on the video, it was very well done, excellent production, not to mention that the old games are extremely good to see in the video, smooth and beautiful.
*27:48*
*CHOELONIAAAAAA* !
i LOVE the quality of these videos. So crisp, clean and immersive to the games world with the First person shots.
Editing was so good, that transition between MW and prey was perfect 10/10 would watch again
33:19 Ghost train is probably the coolest thing to randomly come across
Haven't played Red Dead 2. I wonder if it can run over the player.
Your videos are always so well put together, keep up the amazing work
Damn man when that GTA IV music kicks in... I miss 2008. (game wise)
That soundtracks, omg the nostalgia, thank you for this Guru ❤️🔥
Great video and well edited, very much enjoyed!

I haven't literary seen anyone ever cover the Sam Houseer gun store owner in Vice City until now. This is the type of Easter eggs (and editing skills) I am subscribed to
what an absolute awesome video! that was a pleasure to watch. i discovered one little mistake - the car you showed in bully was already in gta 3 with the flames and all. :)

Such a great video as usual Guru, amazing stuff.
The level of editing you put into the videos is incredible!
I'm glad to see you took advantage of the 451 cut in modern warfare again.
11:41 i remember i found this easter ehg by drinking too much then he passed out when he woke up i found my self in the statue of happiness
i have watched a few of guru videos and they are very well made and i love how well these videos are edited
I watched this video in one sitting, the editing is just amazing, the footage is amazing and the music is amazing too!
11:05
Oh god the music...
I like how guru take his time for his content if you think about it he does a lot of editing and playthrough
Your capture is amazing dude nice work
The editing on this video is actually amazing. One of the few videos I actually bothered to watch instead of using as background noise.
I can relate to this comment so much
The most interesting and personal parts of games in my opinion, when the developers decide to leave their own little marks in the back corners of the art they’ve created. Maybe it’s a reference to pop culture or an inside joke the creators can think back on and laugh about. Easter eggs add another level of flavor and life to already magnificent pieces of work. for dedicating yourself to sharing these wonders with us, I must thank you Senior Guru.
Really nice editing! Those are one of the smoothest game transitions I've ever seen!
thanks so much! :)
Love your videos dude, always such care put into them
Guru just posted a video…and it’s 40 minutes long. My day just got a LOT better
28:48 HOLY SHIT that transition. i didnt even notice games changed until "Prey" cam on screen.
Honestly your videos are always super clean and well done, hopefully with time I can edit on this level great work
thanks so much! :)
Everything was very well transitioned. Great vid!
There is a Easter egg at the very start of gta 4 where vlad says “ bang bang your dead”. This is a reference to vlad from max Payne 1 and 2 because every time he would see max he would say “ bang bang your dead max Payne”.
Vice city came back indeed
This video is well made I loved it and the hype when a recognized the music for the game was awesome I didn't expect this to be so good keep up the amazing work
Mate your videos are fantastic! Keep it up
15:20 used to listen to a Playlist with that song on it when rdr2 came out lol one of my favorite songs
San Andreas is still one of the best GTA games of all time.
Also i love the respect between these old games and their references i kind of wish new games had more of these.
Sadly it’s dead now

6:03 -- Hey now, Rockstar. True Crime was different than GTA. The only thing they shared in common was that it was an open world game (not that mentioning this on here will do anything, over 15 years later lol)

You really put some good effort on this video, keep it up
Man that Bully music really brings me back to simpler times, almost makes me cry
28:48 Damn that transition. Btw, keep up the good work my bro
