TRR 181 Art&Science: Film project "Offshore"© 2024 by designer Radoš Vujaklija

This video was presented in an exhibition at Zollo offspace, in Hammerbrook, Hamburg. The technique the designer Radoš Vujaklija used to organize the content of the video is called “carding” and it is typically used by scriptwriters. To put it simply, pieces of a story and ideas are layed out in cards, to be then reordered in different sequences until an outline of a story emerges that is in the spirit of what the artist wants to express.
The video shown here here presents the outlines of the story concept, and tries to convey a taste of the atmosphere of the imaginative world in which the artist's future films will be set. The exhibition was accompanied by a music playlist that served as a soundtrack, but since the rights of those tracks are not available, the video shown here is silent.
