    So can you tell me how to make a vessel mask and a cloak

    • @Hayashininja
      @Hayashininja  4 года назад +13

      By vessel mask I assume you mean the knights mask and my wife made the mask by using a big ball and covered it with papier mache, made the horns out of eva foam and covered them with papier mache. The cloak was made with a lot of strips sewn together. Hope that helps :)

    Great video, didn't think of using expanding foam! (personally, I got one of those plastic canvas that will serve as the base and then I plan to use cardboard & paper mache on top of that). As for the cloak, I just used reinforced foam to serve as the collar and glued the fabric onto it,
    Any chance you'd be willing to share/sell the stl model of the needle? x,D

      @@Hayashininja YT did not notify me of any reply xD Unfortunatelly I've not made it since life got inbetween (I only have cloak + printed parts of her needle since me and my friend tried tackling it together). Thank you so much tho!

    How many layers did you use for paper mache (I’m making my own one)

    • @Hayashininja
      @Hayashininja  2 года назад +1

      Good question! You sort of lose sight of how many layers while working but I would guess 3-4 layers :)

      I don't have any footage of when my wife made the knight but for the mask she used a big ball and covered it with papier mache, made the horns out of eva foam and covered them with papier mache. The cloak was made with a lot of strips sewn together. Hope that helps :)
