- In this video we explore the bustling Night Market of Tagum City.
Where we can find the famous Filipino Food called "Lechon".
Lechon is a traditional food cooked whole, often roasted, in various cuisines.
It is usually prepared for special occasions and gatherings. You can Lechon a variety
of animals such as chicken, cow, fish, and even crocodile. But the most famous of them
all is the Pork Lechon. A pig that usually weighs around 20 - 60 kilos, but the lower
the size and weight is the better and the tastier. In the Philippines there's a lot of
variety how they cooked the lechon, but in Mindanao the place where I'm filming the video, they put spicies in the stomach of the pig such as garlic, onion, bay leaves, ground black pepper, bell pepper, salt, msg, onion leaks and lemon grass.

Nah in cebu people eat lechon like it’s part of their daily routine anywhere you go in cebu there’s a table selling lechon as early as 6am daily
@@vonaroz4354 yeah, that's correct. When we say Lechon two places comes to mind. There's Cebu and also Laloma.. But Lechon here in Mindanao is booming. You can also see people selling lechon 6am in the morning, and the lechon here has many varieties & styles..
