Thanks for bringing up the USB issue. I think you're the only reviewer that talked about that out of all the reviews I've seen. Definitely something to consider when buying the mouse.
a person who went years to schools and colleges, did their engineering, years of work experience designed that port to fit their "proprietary" designed usb-c cable. What a bummer. The razer viper ultimate had the same problem, it was a huge problem for me when I lost the cable and the company doesnt even sell a replacement cable.
Great video👍🏽 I like that the skates are not preinstalled but I don’t like the motive behind it with Ninjutso, since they only did this to meet their 39gram weight claim.
My unit still weighs ~39 grams with the speed-stocks installed (39.7g). I think the control-stocks would push it to the 40g range but it's still within the 39g +/- 2 gram spec. I didn't think of them not pre-installing the skates to meed the 39 gram weight though, I thought they did it to save manufacturing costs. I'll do some digging and see if I can figure out the reasoning behind it and I'll cover that in the full review!
Hello, i was looking to wait for the sora v2 or op1 8k (restock) or get the x2h (you can suggest another one too), which one do you recommend or aggro claw with 18-19 hand size?
Hey! I haven't checked out the op1 8k yet, will be covering that one as soon as I can get it. Sadly while I love the shape of the X2H it has some brutal sticky-click issues so I'd avoid that. The SORA V2 is a solid claw mouse but it is definitely on the smaller side but it is very comfy for claw grips. Both the SORA v2 and the Op1 8k are solid options, really depends on personal preference imo.
honestly my experience with it so far has been positive as someone who also has big hands. Only issue is the software being web-based relies on their awfully slow server speeds to load the visuals, which took me 30+ seconds to fully load the page from california on gigabit internet and a brand new pc. It gets a pass because it’s only in beta and it’s something you only use once or twice and never have to touch again. otherwise it’s pretty nice, i haven’t had any issues with connectivity. super sick to see another super super low weight mouse with no holes. feels unreal to play with, like you said, its like you forget you’re holding a mouse. I feel like that’s thanks to the fact that it’s very well balanced, feels light no matter where i grip it. if the next batch has a fixed usbc cable that’s angled, and includes at least a 4k polling dongle, it would be near endgame in my opinion and a top5 mouse on every list
Battery life has been really good with comp mode. since it's the same specs and battery as the PM1 I'm assuming I'm gonna get around 60 hours on the comp mode but I'll confirm that for the full review!
After owning the sorav2 for a bit over a month now (going onto 2 months 2 week of next July) I’ve used it quite a bit sorry to say but I soon will need to buy after market skates my stock ones (control) have worn out heavily to the point it for any glide that well anymore.
I did notice the skates were quite thin on the Sora V2, wasn't sure about lifespan though. If you're looking for replacements I'd recommend either the X-RayPad Jade (speed) or Obsidian (control) skates! Those are the types I personally use and you can get them in full size stocks, Donuts or dots! Btw what kind of pad are you using your Sora v2 on?
@@mel0nFPS oh uh sorry ive been busy as of recently, didnt see the notification here my bad. But a glass mouse pad and I always make sure there is nothing on it before using it and wipe it with a micro fiber cloth before using it. skypad/hackpad 4
Hmm, both are solid options. The Sora V2 is better optimized for claw grip but it's thinner while the X2V2 Mini is less optimized for claw but is wider. I'd say try the Sora V2, you have slightly smaller hands than I do so you'll be able to claw grip it properly. The X2V2 and X2H Mini unfortunately have a serious QC issue that effects the click quality and longevity of the unit. The Sora V2 on the other hand doesn't have any issues (that I know of) and is a much more complete package in my opinion. If you want to learn more about the Sora V2 I do have a full review on it, you can check that out here: ruclips.net/video/H5IYoUBPk3o/видео.html Hope that helps!
how often you charge it ? is it as bad as glorious ? a full charge can only last for a 3-4 days even with RGB off !! not to mention that the time i spent playing is less than 20% .. the rest is general use .. absolutely terrible !!
9 hours of active use for me and i’ve dropped 17% but i turn it off when im not using it. definitely not a big battery but it’s the trade off they made for the weight i guess. ill likely start plugging it in at night because it can drain quicker than expected
Battery life is very good so far, haven't need to charge it yet but I haven't been using it too much yet, I'll have more detailed breakdown of the battery life in the full review once I can crack it open and figure out what battery size is inside the Sora v2!
I'm actually not sure! Generally speaking coating wear off of plastic over time due to friction but since the shell material on the SORA V2 is polycarbonate I'm not sure how it'll fair over long-term use. The SORA v2 and Sprime PM1 are the only polycarbonate mice on the market right now and they've all released in the past couple months so we don't have any data on long-term wear yet. I'll do some digging thought and see if I can find any data for the full review!
I'm wrapping up my Sprime PM1 & U2 reviews this week and I'll be able to focus on the Sora V2 next week, I'll probably have it out end of March or early April :)
Stay tuned for a much more in-depth review & TEARDOWN of the SORA V2 coming in a couple weeks!
Hey, I have got Logitech G502x lightspeed do you think that Sora V2 will be an upgrade compare for my present mouse?
Thanks for bringing up the USB issue. I think you're the only reviewer that talked about that out of all the reviews I've seen. Definitely something to consider when buying the mouse.
The usb cable thing is a dealbreaker lmao
IKR! I already tidy up my usb cables thinking that i just need to change dongles on new wireless mice anyways.

I agree completely! Fingers crossed the 2nd batch fixed the few issues on the Sora V2. I'm excited to see how it preforms long-term though!
Hello. I'm considering purchasing the V2. Has your thoughts changed since you posted this comment a week ago?
how's the battery life on the sora v2? and do you have competitive mode on.
Battery life has been really good with comp mode. since it's the same specs and battery as the PM1 I'm assuming I'm gonna get around 60 hours on the comp mode but I'll confirm that for the full review!

Also comment on the material it’s a type of plastic I believe but they made it really thin unlike other mice.

ninjututso sora v2 or pulsar x2v2 mini ? for 17.5x9 hands with claw grip

I have small 17.5cm hands. Waiting for your full review. I use relaxed claw and palm grip.
For small hands the SORA v2 is very good, ideal for claw/palm grips with small-med hands. I'll have more details in my full review soon!
@@mel0nFPSany idea on a similar mouse with large hands?

will this mouse feel different when the coating wears off?

im so sad that i got the sora 4k right before they announced this
And I'm concerned about buying this one in case they announce a V3 in a few months 😂
full review when?

what is your hand size ?\
7.5 in x 5 in
Not me coming across this video after I put an order in for one while having 20x10cm hands 😮
I don't have one to check on hand but looking at the skate design I think they'd be a just a little too big, dots will fit perfectly though.
@@mel0nFPS Wait, I can overcome the fact of my hands being too big by using dots?
Oops sorry that reply was meant for another comment lol, my bad!
@@mel0nFPS that makes sense 😂
Will report back on how it feels
ulx killer???
No flexing on the SORA V2 😭
fustrating 😍
Are you like 6'5 or something?
6'3 something? I never actually checked how tall I am, I just say I'm tall 😅
it's so aoi my friend
I boycott everything that has its own cable and does not fit with others. That's just a shitty move on their part.
Ninjutso Sora v3 19g 😂
I can not take any horizontal mice seriously sorry.
Also no ventilation holes.
????????
