The beauty and charm of village life - full of peace and serenity, stress free, no fancy things around - all is natural - what you see is what you get - these are the reasons why people in the village tend to have longer life span. As always, Annika is the apple of everyone's eye but what I am impressed most is her bonding with her great grand aunt - she looked enjoying being carried by the elderly lady. On the other hand, I am impressed Johanna for taking Indian culture and tradition wholeheartedly. You're adapting very well.
Thank you so much for the kind words :) You're definitely right that there's a certain simplicity and tranquility to village life, but at the same time it must be said that it's also demanding and stressful in its own way and lots of hard physical work all day long everyday. I'm not too sure if people in indian villages do really have a longer life span, but at least my family has discussed many times about the hard, village life and how people tend to get older more quickly. But that said, all living environments have their pros and cons and the quality and ease of living should be provided everywhere :)
Village life May look romantic in videos. They have their own problems. Basic infrastructure, health care. Livelihoods entirety dependent on weather, rains etc. Health statistics, life span etc May not bear out the assumption Indian villagers have a healthier life style. One shouldn’t confuse villages in Europe tomIndian villages where electricity, basic plumbing and water supply are still major issue. However it is admirable effort to bond with the family in the remote villages. Annika will be all the more “richer” with the experience and opportunity.
I love to see India from your videos as I've never got a chance to be there myself, their cultures are beautiful and little Annika the adventurer is cuter and cuter each day 🥰🥰

It was so good to meet some of the extended family Johanna. The old aged faces tell of wisdom & coping with life's challenges. More attractive than the manicured detailing of today's Western City Life. It's also comforting to know of the lack of city fast food diet which you are all enjoying. Thanks so much for being a tour guide of such a wonderful environment. ❤
So happy to hear you enjoyed our quick, spontaneous family visit! There's tons of wisdom, authenticity and life hidden in these remote, rural areas, I agree :)
The great aunt and Annika just looked like twins if you ignore the age. They had great bonding and good friends forever. I miss my great grandma who was my favorite goto person after my mischief making.
Today, many children do not make them stroke lovingly themselves even to their relatives. Let alone caressing the children with love, they do not even let them near. They immediately make a fuss. Annika's spirit and character endear her to everybody who met her. How warmly Annika treats her newly seen relatives at her ver young age without any hesitation. I hope she never loses this her beautiful feature. Meanwhile, in my country children aren't allowed to sit in the front of cars. You have to install a child seat at the back of the car.
Awww Anika😘❤❤❤ is such a adorable little darling baby doll😍😇 Playing soo cutely with Dadu's elderly auntie😆😁🥰❤❤❤ Both of them just fell in love with each other 😂🥰😍 And Anika kept saying "Mimi Mimi"😆😍 I think she was reminded of her Mimi, your mum Johanna. You are such a respectful and considerate person Johanna, about both cultures etc, I really love that. Good on you🥰👍🏼👍🏼 Love from Bombay, India🇮🇳 😍
Yes i was also thinking that Annika might have been making some kind of connection between them - in any case the most beautiful thing to witness such a love at first sight from Annika 🥰
@@JohannaNorth Yeah you're right Johanna, there was Definitely a "connection" for baby Anika....It came through the screen! She was just so delighted with Nani Auntie, and couldn't stop smiling and hugging her😁. Just so beautiful to watch.... You are blessed🙏
How beautiful and loving is Annika💕! She wanted to hug and kiss her old granny... that's so cute! God bless you all! Your videos give us message, wherever you are born and brought up, do not forget your roots! cherishable moments captured beautifully for Baby Annika!! Happy Diwali!
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏 it’s definitely important to know ourselves and who we are - and a huge part of that are the older generations ❤️ Happy Diwali to you too! May your year be filled with light ✨

I always feels kids have power to sense good and happy vibes. They don't need language, just love to show their affection. And as quickly, they form a bond, swiftly they also manage to move on!!
Lovely video , Annika enjoyed thoroughly. I loved Annika 's interactions with her father's aunt. And how well Annika counted the buffaloes- 1,2,3,4. Too cute Annika is when she is playing with mud. Thanks for this wonderful video. This showed how much respect your husband and in-laws have for their relatives.
8:44 - 9:50 Thank you for these words, Johanna. I've yet to visit my hubby's ancestral village too and I have similar fears. But seeing you go that extra mile motivates me. Respect.
Love Annika ..she is relaxed with grand parents. Thank you Johanna for breaking the borders of nations and barriers between people. Wish you a comfortable and pleasant life.
Missing India even more, after watching your video. I have been going there for eight years and stayed there 26 months during covid. Miss Punjab, the people there and the wild dog that adopted me
Johanna - you are such a beautiful person and I praise you for raising such a beautiful child. No wonder Finland is the happiest place on earth. I have lived all over the world but I have not yet met any Finns but would love to make some Finnish friends.
Johanna after telling you that I don't want to return to India.... This video makes me want to go back 😀 hahahahaha 😀😀😀😀😀😀 oh my gosh the villages, the love and the sweets. It creates sooooo much happiness inside of me. And I did have incredible times in India. But at the same time i do remember the difficulties with the cultural differences that you explained so well in this video. The health and safety in India scares the shit out of me sometimes, the noise, the chaos, the monsoon rains and power cuts gave me great challenges. Also my family are so relieved I am now in the uk as the law systems and police operation systems can differ alot in India. That was my biggest challenge. Re I hated that fact that if you have money you can pay off a policeman and get away with crime. It's so ugly and corrupt and that really needs to change. You do soooooooo well in India Johanna.. You are AMAZING. I will always appreciate my indian roots, the cultural depth and the positive side of Hinduism.... But I would like to see alot more equality between the rich and the poor, less harrassment and less corruption. Many people in India tell me that it is the best country in the world and if I don't agree then I must be against India . No country is the best, they are all different and we should all appreciate the good side of every country. Well..m that's my view anyway 😀 Love namaste and Blessings Kas ❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️
Most definitely, every country has both good and bad, but just in different ways :) And when you have lived long enough in different places, you do start missing them too when reminded of all the good, even if at some point the experience felt too much of a challenge! Happy Diwali, Kas :)
@@JohannaNorth Happy Diwali lovely lady Johanna and thanku soooo MUCH for your understanding. In all honesty I would rather remain out of India as that way I am in a far better position to influence the changes I want to see in India. If I tried to make change whilst in India then it's a high possiblity that I would be targeted, tormented and tortured. (Such things have happened to me in India). Of course im not against India as it has so many wonderful things and so many wonderful beings but sadly the dark side is horrific.but may the light of Diwali shine brightly in India for all those who really need that light. Love namaste and blessings to you and your family. Kas ❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️
@@travellingyoginikasSorry for your share of bad experiences here in India. I am born and raised in India and though I’ve been living in very safe neighbourhoods, I know what you mean. It is what it is. I’m glad that you chose not to be against India, and are still hoping to see positive changes here. Keep praying for a better world! ❤
@@mugdhanbapat thank you my darling. I returned to India. ❤ it already seems different. For example, there are people here who do not wish to put nationalism before women's safety. And i have learnt that corrupt business people pay off the lower rank police for bribes etc. And now this is becoming common knowledge. There's definitely more awareness of the difficult issues. And i for sure enjoy the REAL India. Re the villages, the scenery, the food etc. The difficult side is not real India. I too am a youtuber and i have recently published a vlog on my journey through Hampi village. It tells the story of the kindness of the local people, their high levels of Hospitality, their humbleness, their resilience and happiness ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So beautiful....Annika was enjoying the whole trip, Vinod's all family members, talking to them, smiling, she was very very happy to meet with them and it's a beautiful video of Annika's sweet activities and a beautiful village life❤️

you tube recommended me this video however idk why, but it was absolutely and entirely my pleasure to watch it ❤. Annika has million dollar smile. What an angle!
Annika is truly a showpiece of a well brought up child amidst loveful and caring environment. I know that she's about 1 and a half years of age but is sensitive to whatever goes on around her. She sent off mummi very lovingly showering mummi with kisses and hugs and now that she is leaving after the visit, she's showing her gratitude and love to people who have been with her. God bless her. Annika is highly intelligent. 🤗🤗😘😘😘
I have said this before, Your vedios always gives me a good vibe...a positivity...a happiness...and this little angel Annika always makes me smile🥰😘😘😘😘
I have no idea who u guys are . Just see your video early morning and feel a connection cause respect our culture .Good to See you guys enjoying and connect with family, Annika love you baby u make my day today ..god bless
Johanna dear I still remember your visit to the village during your pregnancy!..seeing you in mithai store again was like a little kid in candy store.I also remember malpooda being prepared outside on wood stove!…somehow village life specially women still cooking in wood stove sadden me! But then never got to experience pure love and affection the way you guys do specially Annika. So much love and bond she showed to them it was just priceless. ❤️😍🥰
Ah yes the malpua! I miss it. Maybe we'll get to have it next time, hopefully during the winter season! It resembles Finnish pancakes a lot so I think Annika will love it too, the sweet tooth she has :)
Enjoyed watching Anika the way she was loving Naniji it was very cute 🥰 feel it was because she spent a long time with her Naniji when she came to India as well as her Dadiji in Jaipur.
That must be part of the reason along somewhere deep down all of us recognising family and Annika just in general being a very expressively loving person 🥰 happy Diwali! ✨
Hi Johanna, thank you for showing us beautiful and unique villages in India. I can clearly say that the star of your videos is Annika because she always brings joy of prosperity. Be safe my dear friends. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓💓
Thank you Vinod and Johanna for showing us your parents ancestral homes. It’s so important for Annika. Vinod your parents are really lovely. God bless you all❤️😇🙏🏼 Johanna, hope your precious Mom arrived well and is taking care of her leg.❤️😇🙏🏼
This is the side of India from where i also belong to the peace and the serene environment slow mornings the connections to earth which most of the people who aren’t from doesn’t know about and fails to see and present it here😊 But now i live in fast pace life in a metro city
Johanna, You look so happy and accommodating in any part of India, I always wondered that is amazing! I lived in the West past 45 yrs, now I find India is not so easy like you do. May be old age??!
I'm sure age must be a factor! You have been living in the west even longer than I have been alive :) And of course I don't really share those moments when I'm struggling a lot, which happens often too!
Villages are the place where people actually live , they speak to cattle they look after the trees, soil and speak with fellow human beings intensely . Where in cities people merely survive the day.
Annika is pure joy and she spreads it everywhere she goes. Hats off to Vinod and you, Johanna to give her experiences of both the cultures and she blends them so so beautifully, so lovingly. I haven’t seen anything like this ever before in my life and that’s why I want to keep coming back to your vlogs to replenish myself with this love and joy you all bring to my life 🤗♥️💜
Hi Johanna, Iv just watched this video for the 2nd time. The first time i watched it was when it had just been released. I watched that with my late mum, and she LOVED it when Annika was copying her grandma's arm movement. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I'm currently researching Indian village storylines and I can't find anyone who can write a story as good as yours. Your thematic concepts re death, poverty and identity flowed brilliantly throughout the story. You mentioned Vinod not owning shoes until he was 8, and there was also a scene of Annika in the village with no shoes on which felt representative of Vinod's childhood. Also I felt there was a bitter sweet concept too. Re the amazing Indian sweets alongside the serious concepts, which gave me a feel of the bitterness of issues surrounding death, poverty and identity. Re the bitterness is real but the sweet connections are also real. Very well done. What SUPER talent you have ❤
Annika is just so adorable! Her curls and her vibe is absolutely gorgeous! Its a treat to watch her! Wishing her happiness always and also lots of love!
Johanna you are such a beautiful person, to be that open, perceptive, empathetic and mature is remarkable. I grew up in a large city in India, and as familiar as I was with our customs etc, I doubt I could have handled adjusting to life in a village with its lack of amenities as gracefully as you do.
I’m not sure if I do it gracefully at all, if you ask me or Vinod who gets to listen to me when I’m struggling 😅 but I do try to keep it between us, as I feel it’s important to respect other people’s homes. And it’s easier to consider it an adventure when we’re just on a short visit! 😊
Awesome experience for baby. I loved it when she was saying good bye to Nani. Love ur blogs dear . U a special soul. She was excited about Nani nose ring.there was lots of changes in the village.
Seems like Annika thought it was a game of peek-a-boo at 18:37 😊. No offence meant to the local culture please. This baby girl is such a treat to watch ❤ Her love for Ninni as she calls her is beyond words ❤❤❤❤ She's completely captivated by her Ninni.
Annika is a baby it's easier for children to adjust anywhere..but what I admire is how you, Johanna tries your best to adapt to the indian culture which is entirely different from how you have grown up and not so easy at all..even in India people who are born and raised in the city find it difficult in the villages where amenities are not available..but you are always smiling ..keep smiling and be happy always ☺️
So well put, Johanna is exemplary!
How she adjust beautifully to her surrounding.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. It couldn't be easy for Johanna- it must be such a change! Yet she fits in so beautifully. She must be a very nice and loving girl.
Annika is such a happy social child. Watching her interacting with people is such a joy!
It definitely is making us all very happy and proud 🥰
That’s a beautiful culture and they are all very happy to see the visitors,Annika has recognised her bloodline, very, very nice,
Annika also usually returns all the love she gets back in manifold, and she got tons of love from all the extended family ☺️ happy Diwali! ✨
She stole everyone's heart! What a special child!❤

Omg Naniji👵👧 and annikas interaction 🥰just made my heart burst 💗with joy!!😊
Seeing this made me remember my grand-parents. My maternal grand-mother loved me very much.
I always feels kids have power to sense good and happy vibes. They don't need language, just love to show their affection. And as quickly, they form a bond, swiftly they also manage to move on!!
We are already a big fan of Annika.... she is so adorable and joyful. And watching her palying is real peace of mind. God bless her.
I got happy tears.the essence of Indian attachments in families
wow! look how big Annika is getting. She's so sure footed now. Don't blink, she'll be going off to college before you know it.
I’m pretty sure she’s all ready to start school already 🥹
Annika looks very much like her paternal grandmother. Both so beautiful.
Yes
Lovely video , Annika enjoyed thoroughly. I loved Annika 's interactions with her father's aunt. And how well Annika counted the buffaloes- 1,2,3,4. Too cute Annika is when she is playing with mud. Thanks for this wonderful video. This showed how much respect your husband and in-laws have for their relatives.
Glad you enjoyed the video! I was very happy too to see how happy Annika was in the villages despite the heat and exhaustion :) Happy Diwali!
Great to involve her in such a warm family. Her and the older lady interacting was priceless. I am sure your visit brought them so much happiness.
Annika’s outfits are so so cute.. and she easily got accustomed to the village..
18:31 symbolism (lifting of the veil) of how her life is going to be so different than her grandmother's....
Babies are so innocent soul... The way she played with nani is overwhelming
8:44 - 9:50 Thank you for these words, Johanna. I've yet to visit my hubby's ancestral village too and I have similar fears. But seeing you go that extra mile motivates me. Respect.
It helps a lot to remember it’s just a visit and hubby grew up into a good, healthy person in that place 🙏☺️
Love the closeness of the family. Wonderful to see.
😂😂😂love beta..so so sweet God bless you Annika🙏❤🙌
You're bringing up Annika to face the world 🌎 .love & hugs to Baby Annika
Most beautiful video ever. Such human bonds ❤
Love Annika ..she is relaxed with grand parents. Thank you Johanna for breaking the borders of nations and barriers between people. Wish you a comfortable and pleasant life.
Missing India even more, after watching your video. I have been going there for eight years and stayed there 26 months during covid. Miss Punjab, the people there and the wild dog that adopted me
It is very difficult to go away from so caring and loving elders Annika must be so lucky to have them blessing ✌️
I'm sure Annika will cherish these memories of her family
That old grandma is so adorable and loving...........bless her
Annika is in her element totally .. in the village with all her blood relations!!
19:00 priceless moments captured 🥹
Johanna - you are such a beautiful person and I praise you for raising such a beautiful child. No wonder Finland is the happiest place on earth. I have lived all over the world but I have not yet met any Finns but would love to make some Finnish friends.
Lovely to watch Nani and Aanika enjoying with one another and showering her love on Nani.Even I enjoyed this vlog ❤️
Well..m that's my view anyway 😀
Love namaste and Blessings
Kas ❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️
So beautiful....Annika was enjoying the whole trip, Vinod's all family members, talking to them, smiling, she was very very happy to meet with them and it's a beautiful video of Annika's sweet activities and a beautiful village life❤️
Hopefully we will get to visit soon during a cooler season, so we will all enjoy much much more with the whole big family :)

Oh my gawd, the way Anika was copying her grand aunt's laughter.
Adorable overload.
God Bless her & you all.

you tube recommended me this video however idk why, but it was absolutely and entirely my pleasure to watch it ❤.
She definitely seems to naturally have lots of empathy and love in her, and no fear to show it off to all around her ❤
The little angel is filled with so much love ❤❤❤❤❤❤
She is such a lovely child. God Bless Her.
Naani and Annika pure affection
Sushmita: Annika looks like her Naani ❤❤
Sushmita: Annika has strong Indian traits 🙏 Adorable ❤
Sushmita: Annika and her Bua... adorable Cute in her red 2-piece ❤❤

Shubh Diwali to all of you! 🙏🕉🚀😄
Growing up in Guyana, I used to love going to my grandparents home and mingling with all the relatives that would visit them.
Our sweetest blessings to pretty Annika ! God bless her, and you guys too... Keep posting!!
My lovely doll Annika, her cuteness, her home-stitched dresses, pure soul filled with love n just love.🥰
15:42 I like this part very much. Annika's friendships with great great granny ...And granny's mimicry in the next video.
Baby looks ditto like her Grandmother.God Bless.
That nani was too cute with Annika.
What a happy and beautiful child Anika is. Good job raising her. She seems so full of life and warmth. God bless your family
Thank you so much 🙂 And yes, my mom's leg is much much better after treatment and several weeks of proper rest :)
Beautiful ❤….. Annika is so adorable…such a happy child 😘
I'm glad that you let her play in the soil and do her things as she wants.
Annika is soo happyy .God will always bless her.
This is the side of India from where i also belong to the peace and the serene environment slow mornings the connections to earth which most of the people who aren’t from doesn’t know about and fails to see and present it here😊
But now i live in fast pace life in a metro city
Omg,What a cute social butterfly Annika is🥺she really knows how to make everyone laugh ❤️
Annika bond with nani and nose so adorable 😍 😊❤
Villages are the place where people actually live , they speak to cattle they look after the trees, soil and speak with fellow human beings intensely . Where in cities people merely survive the day.
Annika is pure joy and she spreads it everywhere she goes. Hats off to Vinod and you, Johanna to give her experiences of both the cultures and she blends them so so beautifully, so lovingly. I haven’t seen anything like this ever before in my life and that’s why I want to keep coming back to your vlogs to replenish myself with this love and joy you all bring to my life 🤗♥️💜
Thank you so much for the kind words megha ❤
Annika cuteness extreme level 🥰
Hi Johanna,
Iv just watched this video for the 2nd time. The first time i watched it was when it had just been released. I watched that with my late mum, and she LOVED it when Annika was copying her grandma's arm movement.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm currently researching Indian village storylines and I can't find anyone who can write a story as good as yours. What SUPER talent you have ❤
Heart melting video absolutely awesome nothing to beat our roots ❤❤❤❤
This second time I'm watching your this particular video only for Anika. She is a fire cracker😘
Lovely 😍 famliy they so kind and humble people simple life and they very happy.
The little one looks like her grate grandma. She is so cute
this channel is underrated .love these vibes
Awesome experience for baby. I loved it when she was saying good bye to Nani. Love ur blogs dear . U a special soul. She was excited about Nani nose ring.there was lots of changes in the village.
Aww this girl stole my heart. Such a cutie pie
Seems like Annika thought it was a game of peek-a-boo at 18:37 😊. No offence meant to the local culture please.
This baby girl is such a treat to watch ❤
Her love for Ninni as she calls her is beyond words ❤❤❤❤
She's completely captivated by her Ninni.
