The fact that shaq feels he's alone or that he's not a legend in his own right is insane to me. I'm 44 years old. I was a fan of his growing up as a kid. All I wanted was his damn who's and my mom wasn't having it... Watched him play in the NBA. And I've become a bigger fan of his as an adult both of us and the things that he does for people in the community and the way he interacts true legend of the sport. True, humble, dude. It would be my honor to sit down by that man. A male and a beer and just talk. Shaq, my brother, you aint alone. You got fans and people that care about you. I would give up a whole day to spend an hour with you. Keep up what you're doing big man.

The difference is football injuries can be life changing and more harmful than most sports. I’d retire while I’m still young and healthy.
The CTE is the big one - the trauma is occurring on nearly every snap for an O Lineman - and you have no idea how bad it might be. But every snap you add a few more coins into the CTE jar. That's scary.
It's irreversible, and could drive your loved ones away for their own safety and well-being.

Linemen can play forever...Peters, T Williams, Whitworth, D Brown. It's not a skill based position like WR or RB. Kelce is up there at 36, but he has a few more yrs left if he wanted to.
