At the end of the interview when Shaq told Jason when he retires he needs to just love his beautiful wife and kids because I am stuck in a 100,000 Square Foot home by myself hit me so damn hard.. Im 36 now so Shaq has been like Superman to me my entire life and hearing that broke my heart
He seems to really regret cheating on Shaunie. Too bad he didn't figure it out earlier. I'm sure she told him how the movie was going to end if he didn't fly right.
His ex wife was a catch. Smart, attractive, great mother. You realize more when you don’t have it anymore. It’s a feeling I never want to have no matter the money or access to woman.
Jason, as a daughter of a father who also showed his emotions, let me just tell you how important this is. Having a father who was free with his emotions allowed me to be free with my own and to want that in a partner. Your daughters will look for you in every guy that they meet and they will find a husband who is not afraid to love them. They will settle for nothing less. What a gift you are giving them.
I grew up without a dad but I married a man who has a father (and mum) like this. He’s the best partner and now an amazing dad himself to our son ❤ your comment was so beautiful to read!
Jason - As a parent of 4 girls myself, it's not accidental that you are, and show, how emotional you are. Your daughters are going to need that understanding from you, not to mention the role model you are for their potential, future, interactions with men. Important to be genuine.
He seems to be about what he knows and likes. He's normal and real as far as i can tell. I've never watched him play a game, just not a basketball fan,but like my Jesus,i'm a human fan and he's easy to love.
“I don’t think I’m the greatest center or in the conversation”. I don’t think anyone would disagree with putting you at the top Jason. The last few minutes of this episode were some of the most honest discussions about manhood, life, and perspective I've ever heard from a celebrity. Shaq is so grounded, and honest. His ownership of his life choices, and the impacts they had on his life are so genuine. Congrats on all of your success and your continued humility.
OMGOSH, Shaq broke me when he said he lost his family and lives alone now . Everyday can be a new beginning ! Shaq love will come to you again if you keep being you !
One of the literal most humble human beings ever - disregarding his money, and notorious fame. They don’t ‘NEED’ it , they just say they ‘WANT’ it ; those aren’t the same .
Jason, it is GOOD that you share your emotions. You're teaching a whole generation of men that it is OK to be emotional. So many men are angry, depressed, etc, because they have been taught by society not to share their emotions, so they implode or explode. Not good. Keep sharing and being emotional. Thank you for it.
The Kelce brothers has a great and interesting history. I love how the way that Jason speaks about Travis and while being the older brother, he never makes it seem as if he's always better and stronger than his younger brother. I love how he admits that his brother has surpassed him in certain things. Really humbel guy and you can tell that they're both so close even if you don't watch New Heights.

He's a real guy, relatable as a husband and father and oh my gosh, is Kylie the best...great couple. love to see it.
First time viewer and I had to sub! Shaq is such a great person, I love his outlook, advice, and compassion. Jason would be a phenomenal coach to the younger generation and I hope that is in his future! Shaq's advice on family is spot on!
Shaq, you are absolutely the greatest big man of all time. I’m 42 and came up idolizing you. I remember your first three pairs of shoes. Still my favorite to this day. I was in the seventh grade when your first shoes dropped. I was so proud to hoop in them. God bless big fella. The Great Aristotle!
I know Shaq says he doesn’t open up but he technically was vulnerable during this whole podcast. Being open with emotions and being vulnerable doesn’t mean you have to cry. He expressed how he was feeling, how different situations made him feel, different aspirations he has - all of that is emotional vulnerability. Being able to talk about his sister and Kobe even just saying that he blames himself for the regrets he has in those relationships, takes a lot of introspection and courage to voice aloud. I really hope he continues to do that and express himself in his own way as that is what brings him closer to those he so obviously loves and cares about. ❤
But it’s true. He was beaten to hell this year from being under thousands of lbs of man pile every damn game. If he doesn’t stay another year we could truthfully blame that play.
I was absolutely glued to this Podcast because it was Shaq and Jason Kelce I have been such a fan of Shaq’s for so many years and now a fairly new fan of Jason . The show was wonderful. Excellent questions! 😊😊😊
I love the social media brilliance of the production companies like this that give them questions, a team, and an Ed McMahon. When done correctly like this and on New Heights, it's not intrusive, feels very natural, and adds to the quality of the conversation. I legitimately can't tell when Kelse or Ed McMahon are relying on media training or are being genuine. It's perfection. But, dayuuuummm Shaq is about the bag.
You two are men to be commended, coming from a grandmother with two little grandkids. terrific deeds are seldom overlooked, and your mother did a terrific job raising the two of you, Jason!
Only watched this as Jason Kelce was on and boy what an interesting Podcast, Thanks Shaq - I am glad I discovered your podcast. Also Thumbs Up to you for being a Swifty.
Shaq does so much for people in the Atlanta area. I wish I could meet him. At Christmas and other times he does special things for kids and families. I love his heart and giving back.
It’s all perspective. At that point in his career he had a lot of people and bills to be responsible for financially. Compounded with his injury it made more sense to go into business and broadcasting.
Yes compared to most people thats life changing money You have to compare it to his world. He made 292 M in total in his NBA contracts, 1 m out of that isnt that much Is 1 M even the league minimum anymore? I honestly think the league minimum wage is over 1 M per season lol
I have never met Shaq, but I have to say he is someone I look up to. His mindset when it comes to business and relationships is amazing, but most importantly the love he has for his kids, and mother. That in it self shows the true value of a man.
This is the first podcast I have watched from start to finish, and I have to say I will be watching more of Shaq’s pc’s. This man does not play around!! ♥️
I am a 59 year old philadelphia woman whom always has had a man throw my opinions back at me. Intelligence is intimidating. I am in agreement with Shaq. And a smart woman will understand and not need him to open up. She will intuitively be able to navigate. Because she is so smart. I say do not open up yourself to passive aggressive comments and opinions that are unwarranted. Amen Shaq. Brilliant!!!!!
I’m inspired by Shaq. Dude is a genius, I have multiple businesses but I’m working on those partnerships and sponsors. Every time I see him I just get more inspiration and drive. It can be done
2 of the most beautiful people in sports Shaq and Jason. Both of them down to earth and fame hasn't changed them with the exception of their bank accounts and that's from hard work
I don't watch the NBA any longer but my wife and I never missed a game with Shaq and Penny. We even named our dog Penny back when he was a rookie.. Great memories and great podcast. Shaq and Jason are the best.
2 of the most humble men!! Love you both! Shaq you are such an inspiration, you are selfless and caring. Would love to see you and Jason do more podcasts together. Much love and respect to you and yours always! 💜
As a man the same age as Shaq, loved his career and respect him more as a father. Great business man, entrepreneur etc. I live in Philly and Jason Kelce is Philly A legend forever here and the NFL. Thanks for our SuperBowl championship. Awesome podcast now a sub!!
Its been great getting to know this side of Shaq since he retired. I love listening to his stories and wisdom. He seems like a great father and I great asset to society. He has always been my favorite player on the court now I look forward to seeing him sharing his life stories and kind words for other people. Keep it 100 big unc.
What I love about Shaq is there when you asked him a question about how do you handle certain things dealing with explaining it to your son about gambling I really respect somebody when they actually stand up and say I don’t know when they don’t know and that’s something to be respected rather than just give an answer and go off when you really don’t know the best way to handle it I think it’s very respectable when somebody does say that
Shaq has the most honest and inspiring answers during the Big Assistant segment - delegation, trust, forgiveness, growth, and partnership at the core of his business interactions 💯🔥 Also, Shaq's throwback story of Vlade Divac, specifically, brought me right back to 2001-2002 Kings vs Lakers magic 🥰 Love it!
I'm loving these insights and stories from Shaq and Jason Kelce! It's refreshing to see successful individuals who remain grounded, genuine, and focused on what truly matters in life. Keep it up, guys!
I love Jason Kelce and him being emotional is awesome to see.. my dad isn’t emotional and growing up we were put down for showing emotion and now I deal with anxiety because I don’t allow myself to show my emotions so for him to be emotional is going to be great for his girls… also Shaq and everyone who is judging him for that comment is ridiculous cuz he has a right to not talk if he doesn’t want to if he doesn’t talk to his woman that’s on him… he’s not telling people they need to do the same thing he’s just saying what he does and he has that right
First time I ever came across Shaw's podcast. Following now. I truly enjoyed this. Thanks guys you're all pretty awesome. BTW at 62 years of age Jason Kelce you are the reason I have started watching football. Addicted to both the Eagles And the Chiefs. Shaq I have always loved you!
I went to a Highschool that Shaq's brother went to and his sisters ( Lake Mary Highschool). I'm close friends with his brother Jerome . Shaq was always cool with me , i wish him happiness . Dude been through alot .
shes not god but shes also not a regular person....ur the only one obsessing..its so funny how much taylor swift can scare the maga cult...im guessing ur a bot just trying to make ppl fight...theres no way a man would act like that @@CT0713
Jason gives a humble view of being one of the most important men on the field without the flash of being a cheeta or a megatron. Like a normal man thats so far from being normal or average. I think more linemen need this exposure.
I loved this episode! This was the first one I’ve seen but it really showed me how Shaq is. A gentle giant with an enormous heart! A very wise man! I already love the Kelce brothers but now am a fan of shaq! My dad was a Celtic fan when Larry Bird played. And since I moved out of the house some 30+ years ago I stopped following basketball. My dad would take me to NAIA games. But Shaq seems like a very humble and kind person who cares about others. I love it!!!
I love Shaq’s attitude of gratitude AND I think that he’s missing that two things can be true at one time- you can be grateful /not wallow in self pity AND you can feel your feelings. Feelings aren’t good or bad- they’re just there. It’s strength to recognize your humanity and say I see you feelings. They’re like waves that come and go- you don’t have to be defined by them. And if you are in a relationship with someone, it’s okay to share you feel a feeling. It won’t make you ungrateful. Shaq is a great guy and he obviously does deal with his feelings internally and works through them. He’d probably hate this but practicing acknowledgment of his feelings with a therapist who can’t tell anyone what he shares and who doesn’t have a close emotional relationship with him would probably be good practice for a long term relationship.
Jason and Travis are hands down my favorite brothers that have both played in the NFL! 💞 Jason, enjoy your retirement and treasure the extra time that you are able to spend with Ky and your precious daughters. 🫶🏽

“His tush was the tush getting pushed” - should of never been uttered , Adam 😂
No that was great
But it’s true.
My first time seeing podcast . I love the humanness and integrity of these two giants of their profession . Thank you gentlemen!
I really believe there is so much opportunity for Jason outside NFL now...
Agreed, hes such a natural in front of the camera an has a great way of composing and articulating his thoughts
Plus he's hilarious! His comedic timing is spot on.
Jason seems to be a good honest & loving husband & dad! I hope the fame & future comments do not change that dynamic in his home!
I love the Kelce Family. Jason is awesome.
Shaq and Jason need a show... Perfect synergy.
Real loves Real...
Two GOATS having some food and speaking from the heart. What a great show ❤ 👏
Shaq does so much for people in the Atlanta area. I wish I could meet him. At Christmas and other times he does special things for kids and families. I love his heart and giving back.
"I was only making a million." - Shaq 💀💀💀
It’s all perspective. At that point in his career he had a lot of people and bills to be responsible for financially. Compounded with his injury it made more sense to go into business and broadcasting.
N he prolly only got half bc of taxes
And no amount of money should be worth your health
Yes compared to most people thats life changing money
You have to compare it to his world. He made 292 M in total in his NBA contracts, 1 m out of that isnt that much
Is 1 M even the league minimum anymore?
Your dog got drafted? Golden retriever by any chance, answered to the name air bud?
“ No man is an island “ but listening to Shaq in the last couple of years he might be living in peaceful paradise.
Shaq and Jason should do a movie together. It would be hilarious
Hangover part 3
I love the fact that these big shots let each other talk. They don't interrupt, they are real humans!
Two absolute legends.
if Lefkoe would just stop cutting Shaq off...
Kelce and shaq are probably 2 of the most relatable guys. Would love to chill and wet a few lines with them
Its been great getting to know this side of Shaq since he retired. I love listening to his stories and wisdom. He seems like a great father and I great asset to society. He has always been my favorite player on the court now I look forward to seeing him sharing his life stories and kind words for other people. Keep it 100 big unc.
What I love about Shaq is there when you asked him a question about how do you handle certain things dealing with explaining it to your son about gambling I really respect somebody when they actually stand up and say I don’t know when they don’t know and that’s something to be respected rather than just give an answer and go off when you really don’t know the best way to handle it I think it’s very respectable when somebody does say that
Shaq has the most honest and inspiring answers during the Big Assistant segment - delegation, trust, forgiveness, growth, and partnership at the core of his business interactions 💯🔥
Also, Shaq's throwback story of Vlade Divac, specifically, brought me right back to 2001-2002 Kings vs Lakers magic 🥰 Love it!
I'm loving these insights and stories from Shaq and Jason Kelce! It's refreshing to see successful individuals who remain grounded, genuine, and focused on what truly matters in life. Keep it up, guys!
Jason make no mistake that you are one of the greatest centers to ever play the game!
Omg so sorry it spelled your name wrong Shaq ❤
Jason is 36. His jersey number is 62.
Can we appreciate that Shaq called her Miss Taylor Swift😊
We love Jason. So humble. Good guy. All the ads made this hard to watch Shaq.
When they said there was a streaker on the field of the Superbowl, did anyone else wonder "Where's Jason!?"😂
I didn’t think I could find a podcast I enjoy as much as New Heights…but here it is!!! Yay!
The Shaq & Kelce show, if Jason retires
I went to a Highschool that Shaq's brother went to and his sisters ( Lake Mary Highschool). I'm close friends with his brother Jerome . Shaq was always cool with me , i wish him happiness . Dude been through alot .
Getting a photo taken with Taylor right before this was posted was honestly excellent marketing.
She isn’t god stop obsessing it’s weird she’s a regular person so what about the photo
shes not god but shes also not a regular person....ur the only one obsessing..its so funny how much taylor swift can scare the maga cult...im guessing ur a bot just trying to make ppl fight...theres no way a man would act like that @@CT0713
@@CT0713 that’s quite a jump to go from “excellent marketing” to “you think she’s a god”
I love Shaq and I love Jason. Two down do earth super humble guys
My dad was a Master Sergeant USAF and then a Deputy Sheriff after he retired. I was raised just like Shaq, must be a Military thing. :)
Shaq is so grounded, generous and humble, he's one of the best examples of being grateful and giving back.
This is an immediate classic
Shout out to Reebok Shaq you are bringing them back Reebok is on the rise again I was rocking a Reebok shirt and shorts at the gym today
Good bless you big shaq ! I’ve kept my eye on you since Orlando. You are a good man. I’m so happy I found your RUclips channel 😊
Jason gives a humble view of being one of the most important men on the field without the flash of being a cheeta or a megatron. Like a normal man thats so far from being normal or average. I think more linemen need this exposure.
Jason is genuine with a good heart!!
Fantastic human being.
This is a great interview! Enjoyed hearing from both shaq and Jason!
This will be good. I ❤ Jason Kelce!
Love Shaq! Appreciates his blessed life, and understands not to whine when others are suffering terribly.
Kobe’s smiling down in satisfaction 5 chips to 4 , “and you can take that to the bank “ .
Shaq is a good man..mad respect for the good you do for so many
What a cool combo of people who love basketball and football! Loved every second of it. The crossover I didn't know I needed.
Can we get a Shaq and Kelce podcast? I would watch everyday.
That was a great interview with Jason Kelce. Thanks.
How can you not love Shaq 😂😂 lifelong pacers fan but also always a Shaq fan
I love Shaq so much. He’s so strong and brave. Jason is such a kind, strong, person, so is Kylie. They will be just fine. ❤
Just gotta love the Kelce's, and Shaq and Jason together are fire.
Jason and Travis are hands down my favorite brothers that have both played in the NFL! 💞 Jason, enjoy your retirement and treasure the extra time that you are able to spend with Ky and your precious daughters. 🫶🏽
The big diesel got Jason Kelce!!!! Let's gooooooo
Shaq & Jason Kelce was the crossover we didn’t know we needed. Good stuff!
