I've just purchased the 41mm in white on the bracelet from my AD
Thanks for a thorough look at these current Hamilton Khaki watches. I agree with you that the metal strap should be available on the White Face dial! I also wonder why Hamilton ignores half the world"s population and does not have ladies size. the 37 comes close but still looks clunky on a woman's wrist. I have three Hamiltons, the Jazzmaster for dress up, a limited edition, a Navy Pioneer on a NATO strap for field work, and the Khaki black face with a leather strap for every day. They all keep good time and are easy to glance at and tell time, the ultimate test of a wrist watch.

Nice video and you make a great point about the lack of a bracelet on the white dial version. it's a strange omission. If I may, let me suggest that a leather or nylon might be better for this watch's intended use case anyway. If one wears a bracelet watch long hours, day after day, a bracelet could chafe and become uncomfortable. I wore one on a deployment years ago and had to start taking it off during the day after several weeks as it began to make my wrist sore. Oh, no question that for me I'd go with a 37mm version. A field watch should be small, and inconspicuous on your wrist. When in the field, a larger watch could be distracting and annoying. All the best.

Yeah it’s a bit of a bummer it’s not available on the steel bracelet. But you can put it on a Bark and Jack grey nylon ribbed nato. It looks killer. Watch Adrian’s video

I bought my first watch this past Saturday. Gold prx automatic. And I bought expedition 41 black face yesterday. I'm addicted . 2 new watches in 3 days
Well, I just learned something today. I'm just mind blown with how the compass works. I guess that is likely the basis of how a sundial works. Very cool stuff! Oh, very nice watch.
When I was young, 50 years ago, and a prospector, my analog watch was the simple check on our compasses, which depending on magnetic fields, were inaccurate in areas with iron rich rocks. the compass was checked against the watch for accuracy. so simple.
37mm, white dial on the bracelet is a must - until that happens, I will wait 😢

The most important issue about this one, seiko alpinist, and so.. Not having a white dial with metal bracelet. I can't get it why. This is why I'm not buying and waiting with a hope :)

I really wanted the white dial, but instead had to grab yet another black dial watch because of them not offering bracelet with white dial. Still excited to get it, but wish it was the white.
I am pretty sure bracelet option will be available in 2024. But i managed to get 41 white + extra bracelet from my dealer.. happy :)

For your wrist, I’d say 41mm. I’d definitely need a 37mm for my 6inch wrists. Getting the white 37mm with the green nato strap

Wouldn't a small compass attached to the strap be more practical than a compass bezel?
I got the 37 blue dial and bought the steel strap because it didn't come with it

Hey first time viewer of your channel! What is your opinion on the level of water resistance of this watch? Do you think the screwdown crown makes it safe for all hydro activities besides diving, such as hiking in the rain, showering, handwashing, etc?

I was told by my AD that you’d have to order the bracelet separately in addition to getting it as it is sold on the strap. Annoying since that bracelet is more expensive than the strap.
It's crazy the bracelet is not available on the white faced dial, what a missed opportunity.
I fully agree with you. I2ve heard that buying an extra bracelet will be an option for now but I'm pretty sure they will fix this issue with the new batch soon.

Like is a dumb reason to buy or not buy a watch. The design is suggestive. And $1,000 is not expensive for a watch of this caliber.
It's a field watch. It's not supposed to have strong lume. Field watches were designed for the military and strong lume would draw too much attention.
