Good video. Lucky kid parents had a place up at Mammoth my whole life not too long out of high school got a job on mammoth ski school. Not for me. Work at night. Ski all day log over 200 days a year for just over 10 years over 2,000 days I don't know if too many people can say that will you be able to when you're done

I skied Mammoth mountain 78 until 1988 it was a different place in time they ruin the mammoth chair 23 no more huge cornices to jump Big Air I'm sure or I hope hair jump is still there I skied over 2,000 days at Mammoth mountain the best ten years of my life

Skied it back in the day. Think it was ‘72. Way better back then. Definitely more snow at least, global warming… ya know. Couple legends and I had the place to ourselves back then. Glad that our stoke still lives on and influenced these kids. They really have no idea what it used to be like but are making the most of it. One love!!
Everything was "better back then" in our minds. Change is constant. Riders today have just as much fun as you did then, the only difference is how you experience it.
Yah I know what it was like in 72….the lifts were all super slow…they only had 14…now they have 29..they hadn’t built warming hut 2 yet..they get plenty of snow still….22/23 season had over 700”…..and now you can ski the heavy stuff with fatter skis…52 years ago?? and you know what’s up? One love!

Live Tahoe was in Heavenly last month; really quite hot but not mushy yet. Still have til Memorial Day until my home mtn closes for the season and depression kicks in
