Marcus is one of my favorite GH actors ever! And I like how he brought the cast together like maurice, kin, please keep.that up.we live seeing actors outside of work
normally I have trouble with a recast, especially a long time character. Marcus seemed too young to me at first. But it didn't take long for me to really like him. And in 6 months time, I seen him as Nikolas. The character is important so I don't understand getting rid of the character. If the plan was to recast him... I don't agree with that.. not even if its to bring the original back. That ship has sailed. I don't think its fair or right. Now when Steve Burton came back to GH I was ok with him coming back as Jason and having the other actor be Drew. That worked because they kept both actors.
I loved his Nikolas. Gonna miss him on GH. ❤️ Glad he gets to be near his daughter now.
Love Marcus! So kind and extremely funny. Those videos on Instagram of Marcus, Maurice, and Kin are a riot. So much talent. I am so glad that he is getting to spread his wings. Loved this!

OMG I live in Clearwater, Florida! I wish Marcus had come to see ME. Yes, Longboat Key is amazing and I spent a week there 20 years ago. I appreciate this interview, guys. I like Marcus and I have no clue why he got let go. Gonna miss him and I hope to see him on other shows or in movies. The Hallmark Channel employs a lot of soap stars. I loved this interview. I think Marcus is one of the nicest kindest and genuinely funny people and I will miss him on GH. But I'm happy to see how well he is doing. He seems to be in a very good place with a lot of things coming up on the horizon. I do agree with Steve when he said everything happens for a reason and although I'm sad to see him leave the role of Nikolas, I wish him all the best in the future.

I am one that was born into watching GH. My grandmother, mom, aunts and cousins watch. Grandma, mom and aunts are all gone now. Steve B was is always been my favorite. When he left I stopped watching. I didn't start again till he came back. It hurts us fans whenever our favorite leaves. We want you all to grow and be happy. But we miss seeing you 5 days a week. I hope Marcus gets everything he wishes for. I also hope one day he returns to GH. As well as Steve. The one and only Jason.

I miss Marcus on GH so much! I’m so glad I got to meet him 2 times after emailing him back and forth for years long before he joined GH. And when I met him for the first time and told him about it he knew who I was and my name as well! What a great person! I love him!

Bradford is recurring, so he is there when they need him or when he's available...probably his decision. Marcus it seems wouldn't have resigned if they asked him to, which is ok...his decision. I think the show is doing just fine. If it wasn't don't think they'd be having their 60th anniversary april 1st. Just my thinking. 😊

The charisma you possess comes across on screen sometimes like a ton of bricks. You and Ava were so captivating. Hated it when writers pretty much sabotaged Nicks character. You are an extremely gifted writer and actor, and I know you will go far in any venture that you choose. I think it is also vitally important that you get to spend this time with your daughter. You don’t get a second chance with that, and it is awesome that you are choosing to put her first. May God bless you in all your pursuits and endeavors!

This was a great interview with Marcus! Very inspirational and Steve I am glad you explained how it works as a daytime actor and the golden handcuffs. I understood your reason for leaving in 2012. Actors are humans to and like to pursue other things if given the opportunity. Just like anything else in life choices are made whether we want to make them or not. I’ve been watching since 1978 when I was in grade school! Obviously from my RUclips moniker and my own channel content you could say I’m addicted! Having said that, I’ve seen a lot of actors and actresses come and go over the years! I’m usually a person who takes a while to warm up to a replacement for a character. I saw Tyler (Baker) Christopher originate the role, loved him as Nikolas but Marcus became my favorite Nikolas portrayer! Good luck to Marcus and looking forward to his next project!
Why did they replace him?
@@cherisemelf4758 They let him go. He refused to film his last scenes so the dude who subs for him Adam Huss is filling in. No idea why they let Marcus go. I only can suspect that last time Adam Huss filled in for Marcus, Tyler Christopher expressed interest that he he would like to fill in. Shortly after that Marcus was let go so I don’t know if they are planning on having Tyler Christopher come back. Only speculation on my part due to the timing. It would make sense since the 60 year anniversary is coming to have the original come back but again I’m only speculating.
@@GHRickLesley Thank you so much for answering me. I watch it, but I had no idea he was leaving. Its hard replacing characters that everybody loves. Like Jason. I watched him grow up. He did come on as the last Jason. Then he wanted to see other things. Its just so hard to see how his absence affected the whole story line. He was put in a tight spot. We all miss him Im sure. I hope he does come back. Both sides would have too swallow their pride for it to happen. I do understand the business side of things. Thank you again
@@cherisemelf4758 Yes! Jason and Jonathan Jackson’s Lucky were my favorites when the 90’s rolled around! Miss them both! I know Steve is on Days and it’s great he’s working but do hope someday he returns to GH.

Watched my last episode of GH after 45 years. Steve , Ingo, now Marcus is to much. Great actors all 3 of them. Hope for the best for you all.
Steve and Ingo left on their own accord they chose to leave they were given an option and they chose the option to leave that's on them. Marcus was pink-slipped that's different he was actually fired.
