I love these interviews! I’d imagine it would be a huge challenge to fill the shoes of a loved character in addition to their first time acting on a soap. She’s truly an inspiration to young girls and women my age as well! In fact, I’m having my 10 year old daughter watch this. Specifically the part where she talks about school and how underestimated she was along with she not letting it affect her confidence. She’s proved the naysayers dead wrong! Beautiful girl and she has done an outstanding job becoming our new Trina!😊❤️❤️❤️

I can’t imagine but she is doing great! I don’t remember old Trina cause I had stopped watching GH.:/. But I had it one for background noise one day and saw when Trina was in the interrogation room and Spencer visited and I caught the fire. So you hit it out there park esp next to and actor that commands and destroys every line and emotion. I went back to watching GH that day. I had to call my mom for updates on all that I’d missed cause I’m like mom this is a supercouple in the making and I’m here for it! It’s always nice to see black girl magic in action as well :). Doing great and it’s just getting hotter!

I loved Sydney and didn’t think anyone could play that role but her. I realized almost immediately that I had been wrong. Tabyana just filled up the screen by being herself. Truly impressive. I can’t recall any other recast that was so seamless and I’ve been a soap fan for over six decades! All three of you share that ability to show your true self through your character. It is a gift for us viewers. The heart always knows Truth. ❤

Is GH ever going to address the death of the actress that played Aphiny? I saw she passed away not to long ago, but her role was so huge on GH, her dating Marshall, becoming a doctor, then passed away unexpectedly.

And when I went back and watched old Trina …. I’m glad Tab had that time to prepare cause the old Trina came off as rehearsed and overreacting and a bit immature like young. This Trina strikes more natural to me and smoother like the energy and essence just flows. She doesn’t come of baby more like the young adult finding her way as she should.
I love Tabyana as Trina. I miss Steve as Jason. I will forever be a Jasam shipper.
