Can't understand the exact utility. I can see the picture framing on the big rear screens of the modern mirrorless cameras very easily. And for DSLRs, I can either use the viewfinder or use live view on the rear screen.
What extra does this Red Dot sight offer?

Almost all camera have "focus peaking" function , maybe put it on can make someone feel awesome.🤣
By the way , TTartisan 500mm F6.3 telephoto lense is very good(worth it price).

When you have a long telephoto lens attached (like in the video), finding and following the subject through the camera can be difficult because the framing is very tight. This device gives your a magnified view but it is not as close as when looking through the lens, so it's easier to point the camera in the right direction.
