    This cookie recipe I make a lot. I grew up on a small farm in Arkansas. Our church was small and our preacher was part time. We feed his family on the weekend and my Mom really loved it! We always made these cookies!
    I like the way you showed them in the cooking pot--it helps if you are not sure! I love them with peanut butter only too! Blessings to you!!❤

    I just made these for the first time ever! I usually just buy them at the store. I'm definitely not disappointed! Thank you for the recipe and video! Now I just need someone to share these cookies with so I don't eat them all myself!

    These look TO DIE FOR. Also love the fact that they go from saucepan to tray! So mess free! Thank you so much for sharing!

    Just made these for my husband’s work lunch tomorrow. OH. MY. GOODNESS.
    Now I know why your mom said they are the best cookie.
    They are!
    I didn’t have any vanilla extract left, and they still turned out delicious

    Such a stressful experience at 1:00 am but it was totally worth it. I'm a bake-aholic and I like to bake 24/7 this was the first thing I baked that started my journey, i almost couldn't even stand up because of my tiredness yet I still proceeded and made them. It was quite delicious but it was so exhausting.

    These are great, I've made them a couple times. Additions of Honey roasted peanuts and flake sea salt on top are pretty wonderful.
    I wouldn't eat these every day, just for holidays or to give as a gift to the peanut butter lover in your life.

    Hi CrazyforCrust--as I said, no offense meant, but being diabetic I can only dream. But sure doesn't stop me from dreaming of eating a batch or two.

    • @JinxdOne
      @JinxdOne 6 месяцев назад +1

      You can use sugar substitute sweetie. I made a homemade from scratch coffee cake for a neighbor who is diabetic. And I love sugar. But you can do it without. Never stop dreaming about cookies!

      A sugar substitute may work, though I’d consult a professional with that, but there’s a bunch of good peanut butter recipes out there for diabetics (When I was a caretaker for my grandpa, I learned a few recipes for him to enjoy)

    I followed recipe to the letter. I even used a candy thermometer as you suggested. After I scooped them
    out on a pan I pushed them down just a little and they crumbled all to pieces. I still are some and were teal good. What holds them together?

    • @CrazyforCrustRecipes
      @CrazyforCrustRecipes  Год назад +1

      The butter and sugar cook together to that temp to hold them together. Can you let me know what kind of oats, peanut butter, and butter you used?

      Same for me it was so dry I couldn’t get them to form a cookie. I’m at 5300 ft elevation would that affect them.

    The chocolate no-bakes recipe says to boil for ONLY one minute. I don't have a candy thermometer. How many minutes should this recipe boil?

    Made these twice, they come out very dry and crumbly. Not a pretty praline looking cookie like yours. 230 degrees on my candy thermometer. Not sure at all what the issue would be.

      The end result isn't overly sweet. It's a cookie - perhaps you'll looking for something healthy, which is not this channel

      You act like this is her version of this recipe and adding more sugar just because. If you look up no bake cookies, they're mostly the same. Try it with less sugar if it puts you off, just don't complain when it doesn't turn out good.
