I think that the Y700 is the perfect tablet for this controller. I was thinking about a 11 inch tablet with oled display, but this tablet is incredible!
I had this issue until I updated the G8 firmware on my phone. I still have to plug in to "jump start" it, but I can unplug it immediately without disconnection occurring.

I have the 2023 version and the side usb c port does not work unless you have some form of power going into the controller usb c port

@@sprayberry88 how did you download the Gamesir app on the Lenovo Y700? Mine says the app isn't compatible with the version from the Play Store.

@@substance90 oh wait, scratch that! I used my phone to update the firmware then dropped my Y700 into the controller!
Does the g8 fit the y700 out the box, or did you have to mod the g8 to fit an 8.8 inch screen?

How dis you get the g8 controller to work with the y700?
You have to plug in a charger to the controller then unplug it quick and it works
