    This is like a dream 8inch android tablet, but already bought a Samsung galaxy tab S9+ recently. It's really nice seeing android tablets being taken more seriously by more manufacturers and the 8inch form factor has been forgotten about even thou it's amazing for portability.

      Android still missing a ton of art apps. Especially for vector art, and if you invested in the Adobe system the iPad is the better tablet. Although I don’t think tablets are the best editing devices, the full Davinci Resolve editing suite is on iPad, not Android (personally I like LumaFusion better, and that’s on both).
      For Tablet it’s really between iPad or a Windows device. Because for every argument where the Android beats iPad, Windows does better, and everywhere where Android beats Windows, iOS does better. I mean educate me what does Android have that neither Windows or iPad OS has?
      I’m rocking a surface pro and an iPad Pro, I don’t know what an Android device can do that neither of my tablets can.
      Android devices are getting a lot better for sure, and I can see why someone in that eco system would choose it over an iPad, but Android is a more obvious alternative in phones not tablet.

    I had the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 back in the day. It's still in a drawer somewhere. I loved the screen and form factor but this was in a period of horrible update policies for Samsung so I rooted and flashed roms for a while until I got out of doing that kind of stuff. For me 8 inch tablets are perfect, 16:9 tablets are the perfect form factor. Easy to reach in games and no black bars on 99% of media. I have my eye on this.
    But not sure if I'd use it. I traded an S6 (none lite) to upgrade to a Z Fold when it released last year. I miss microSD cards though.

    For info, widevine L1 isn't enough for Netflix HD unlocking, they not only require L1 but also to whitelist the device model itself for that to happen and this is where Netflix android app falls appart, even common Samsung devices are sometime not listed despite L1 support. Many people buy phones and tablet thinking L1 will be enough to discover Netflix doesn't support it in the end.

    Lenovo Legion Y700 2023 is using SD 8+ Gen 1 (TSMC) instead of the regular 8 Gen 1 (Samsung).
    Edit: Yeah, upon researching. It is definitely using Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Please make a correction in the video as there is a huge difference between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which was manufactured by Samsung and had inefficient thermal chipset compared to the updated Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is manufactured by TSMC which has better thermals. The 8 Plus Gen 1 also has higher clock and better performance than 8 Gen 1. Both are using 4nm process node though. So, please do make a erratum regarding this video as I've always been following this channel for tech news, gaming, etc. Wouldn't want the viewers to get misinformation.

If AYA or one of it's competitors just removes the control sticks it would blow every tablet manufacturer away..... It's also such a tragedy the market thought we needed larger tablets 8-10" was always where it was at. This has got to be the most innovative tablet on the market idk why companies arent following with similar products esp w/ how stupidly big tablets are getting.

    I feel like the only problem would be the battery life, because there are some phones in budget(or considered midrange in India) that have 6000mAh, and this may drop a bit faster than the phone. Other than that, it seems like a great tablet.

    • @zm7430
      @zm7430 Год назад +1

      It does have pass-through charging though, for heavier gaming sessions. But faster than 45w charging would have certainly helped.

    • @pradeepmalar327
      @pradeepmalar327 Год назад +1

      @@zm7430 tbh, as much as I know, pass through charging only work when the battery is at 100%. So, I'm not sure

      @zm7430 Год назад +1

      @pradeepmalar327 That's good to know. I guess we will need to find a charge limiter app for Android like Aldente for macOS. But I'm hopeful the battery, especially with an efficient processor like 8+ Gen 1 will pull through at least 2 hours of gaming which should be good enough for most on the go gaming.

      About 380 for the lesser model. But the 512/16g model and 3x accessories (screen protector, pen, simple magnetic case) is 600. If you follow the link in his description on this video to buy it scroll to the bottom and subscribe to the page and you'll get another 5% off... There is no way I would get anything but the max model myself and I am honestly considering it.
