great tablet but no micro sd card slot means i wont think twice about skipping this one. I dont know how you can make a gaming focused tablet and omit that. They took away a big chunk of potential buyers within the emulation crowd with that decision. Their intention is that your forced to buy the higher storage model, which i wont support and even that model is not sufficient for my emulation library. The best bang for buck to me in the tablet category remains at the lenovo legion y700 for android, hopefully they release an updated one soon.
It's quite simple. If you want these companies to pay for not including a micro SD card slot, don't buy the device. If enough people put their money where their mouth is, you'll start to see future generations of tablets include the micro sd slot.
Yup it's a trick of the trade now, No micro SD card support, so people opt for the larger 500GB or 1TB, rather than 128GB or 256GB, it ups the price a few hundred quid. Sneaky.

Space is not an issue, so there is no excuse for no sd card support. At least Samsung still supports expandable storage on the high-end tab s line of devices.
my tabs8plus with sd 8gen1 runs most games i played. it took 2 years for developers to optimized games for tab s8 plus. id still get samsung since it offers sd card wide variaty of samsung features. samsung with 8gen3 would run games just as good as RM nova.

To be fair, there's only this and the Lenovo Legion y700 that are marketed as gaming tablets. I think the focus is on power but I do agree, I'd love to see one with OLED.

In my country I can get Tablet with G99 for less than half of this tablet price, yes not the most powerful one but meh I just want play up to 3DS and G99 is good enough for that + MicroSD slot still include so that win for me 😊.

I was decided to buy rhis red magic gaming pro bot the fact it has not compatibility with WIFI 7....., bearing in mind what you pay...it should come with it!!! , however the cooling system is a game changer allowing snapdragon 8gen 3 perrforming high most of time. Y700 2024 wont have this surely..altough ...wifi 7 may have it incorporated

Steam Deck will give you access to more emulators including RPCS3 (PlayStation 3) emulation. x86 is just going to be far more versatile with what you can do on it. 🙏

I think it helps keep the cost of this tablet down by going with the SD 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, which is the most powerful on the market.
This was probably way past the drawing board even before 8g4 was announced.

From ergonomics point of view the type c port should be off-center. It will make the screen higher so you will not tire your neck looking down.
