I've owned this bass for a year already: + sounds amazing, you can record this bass straight from DI and it sounds huge + plays fast (after action adjustment, really high nut) - glow in the dark dots are useless in the dark as well as in full light (light green dot agains ivory binding not a good idea) - binding finish really bad and looks cheap - mid range selection only gives you 3 voicing I would prefer a knob Overall you won't regret buying it.
Very nice review. I played one at guitar center. It felt really comfortable to play but the quality isn’t as good as more high end bass. I wonder which bass has the comfortable action and neck that has higher end components and quality? Anyone trying to stay in the $1200 range, this is the way to go.
Thank you for this review! This is a really beauty looking "commonly produced" instrument. Its finish, its style is well thought and really decent. But if I were one of the decision makers at Schecter company, I wouldn't have placed the battery holder in the middle of the "through neck". I would say, for having the possibly best sound, and resonance, that part of the neck should remain as one. So I would place the battery holder into one of the "wings", as usual. And just one more thing... Though it sounds really good... maybe it is just your sound settings, maybe due the video, but its sound is filled with lows and mids only. I miss the "fresh", clean highs in each of the settings, while you are playing this bass.
Get myriad tones Not “a myriad of tones” Though more people have started saying “a myriad of,” so it’s made it’s way into common parlance But just FYI if premier guitar is into proper syntax 😋
Alex Gordon It’s fine whichever way you say it, it was used by itself a long time ago and it has changed thru the years. It literally makes no difference.
Jeremy Clarkson first of all, you repeated everything I already said in the second half of my comment, just more emotionally and less accurately. Don’t repeat peoples points if you plan on making less sense than them. And 2nd, actually it does matter. One is legitimately proper English and the other isn’t... one makes grammatical sense, and the other doesn’t. Get mad about it, dork.

1 of the coolest finishes I've ever seen
4:08 That's not the modern setting lol
The classic and modern positions are mixed up in this demo. Toggle up is classic, middle is funk, down is modern.

Schecter is so underrated it borders on criminal activity.
I have a Model T with the EMGs. Love it. Heavy bass but great tone and plays like a dream. It's my main bass.
I'm fortunate enough to own this. I searched far and wide and this baby ticked all my boxes. Love it.

That bass sounds awesome!
Why would they mess up beautiful maple with a "I'm out of stain finish" And why the chrome 3 way with all hardware black??
That rhymed. I am leaving out context on purpose. Great demo!
Does anyone know what the string spacing is at the bridge?
I am digging the Antique fade burst!
The camera showed him and i was like “WTF John?!?”😂😂😂
Sounds great,love schecter.
I got a question: Is that a real flamed maple top or just a veneer over Maple?
this bass is so sick.
This one need a fan fret and will be the perfect djent bass
Oh, Steve...it's an ANGY head banging face, not a sad face.😁

Cool review but the voicing switch is actually the other way around. Up is classic and down is modern.
I’m just now starting to notice Schecter basses; since the diamond jazz series. That’s a nice bass.😕
Speech level singing?
Best Bass guitar on planet earth
24 frets is too close to body which is uncomfortable to play solos on high frets, except that all material are amazing.✌
I tried one of these out. It's all about the pickups. The actual feel and the appointments said 'CHEAP.'
Cool bass, a little too hifi sounding for me, but cool instrument none the less
Same, even though I'm partial to active basses, some of the higher end active basses sound a little too bright and trebly.
You two are severely underestimating how versatile those Fishman pickups are
@@drewg4323 - You are right. I own this and it is the sweetest base I've owned and likely the last! Cheers!
Nice looking and nice sounding, but overall kinda sterile.
Andyuf2 Like most modern active basses to be honest
Second?
God I hate that finish
Nice bass! But dang!! All black hardware and then a cheap looking galvanized toggle switch? C'mon Schecter !!
It would be nice if they made finishes that appealed to someone besides 15 year old goth kids..
Johnny rowland how is this goth? Ugly, yes, but goth?
¿Te puedo regalar un shampoo? :3

Not likely!
