There are a lot of other things I feel like not quite right rule vise and are actually a result of typos on the cards, but regarding win conditions specifically now I don't see how getting the ship back to earth is a base goal for everyone (unless the objective does tell something different). Why would some objective cards specifically point out that the ship has to get back to earth and others have no destination for the ship nor you required at all if it would be a base objective for anyone!? :)
Hey Replect! Of course it may be the case that the rules are subject to change as this is a prototype version. In this edition it is an assumed joint goal that all the crew members want to go to Earth, and so they want the co-ordinates of the ship to be set to Earth. However, a player may have a hidden goal that says something like "instead of Earth you want to go to Mars". That player will have to think of a crafty way to set the co-ordinates to Mars while the other plays believe they are set to Earth. If the ship does go to Mars then the other players that wanted to go to Earth will lose! Mike
2 questions Fire spred only on event or it spred in fire turn ? What if there is no more tokens in bag ? You get rid off noise token and nothing happend ?
Hey Wojo! Fire only spreads when an event card causes it to spread. There is a fire step in the end phase when every player and intruder in a room that is on fire takes damage. I think if you can kill all the aliens in the bag then you have been incredibly lucky! It seems very unlikely this would happen (because there are event cards that put more aliens in the bag, and the aliens sometimes run away when you're trying to kill them, and the Queen starts in the bag too and she's a monster!). Also, the game starts with 8 eggs in the nest. These eggs can be added to the bag, and an event card might cause them to hatch into larva. If you're not careful the larva will infect you with an alien embryo, which can emerge from you and become a young intruder. In this way you can get another alien on the board, even if you killed all the aliens in the bag! Also the host dies! - Mike
Ready Steady Play The PnP rulebook doesn't say anything about that, but I wonder what happens if you draw the egg from the bag as a result of the noise roll. What does it do? And there is an event where you are asked to put an egg in the nest... But if all 8 are still there from the setup and there are only 8 in the box. Nothing happens? I first thought that the Intruder board holds the 8 eggs and the event would result them to move to the nest, but now I think I misinterpreted that incorrectly and intruder board kind of IS the nest... So, as a result that other question above.
52:44 panic card: are you sure the top left number is the threshold? because on the card you drew it says less than 5. this would invalidate the "1 or less" from the top left. either: top left is used differently, or it has lost its meaning meanwhile an is just a leftover from beta testing.
Sweet! Have you played Lords of Hellas? Would love to see you guys play LoH. If the publisher sent you this prototype, hopefully they can send You LoH with the Sunshading.........
Thanks Mike. Glad to hear Ben backed it. Unfortunately, I did not back it. With so many other area control games in my collection, I debated backing it up until the conclusion of the campaign. Based on early reviews, this is the one game from last year I regret not backing. Looking forward to your videos on this one. Maybe send them a friendly note with a link to your videos and ask them to expedite things.
I backed this game. Can't wait to play
Love your set up. Could you possibly list the gear you use to film? Do you use specific tripods or arms to get your angles? Do you use any lightning?
