- King Aegon ii had killed his sister Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen on dragonstone, but the dance of the dragons was far from over as the blacks still fought on in Rhaenyra's name. King's landing was still in chaos with the petty kings still holding the city. While eyes watched the horizon for the coming of the Hightower Host, they forgot to look out for other threats as Lord Borrros Baratheon marched from storms end, his purpose, his side unclear. The Schemes Of Borros Baratheon will impact westeros forever
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on George R R Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.
I had to make a bit of a odd cut at about 04:09 because for some reason youtube was flagging it. No idea why seems utterly random, hence why there is a bit of a odd cut in the video there. Best i could so without losing the audio as and having to re export and reupload the whole thing.
Ambitious and dangerous
He wanted one of his daughters as queen and he was for the moment the most capable ally to the greens
Jaehaera falling into his lap like she did, and her being the only living heir of Aegon gave him power, power to fulfill his ambition. But your 100% right it's a dangerous game, having power and ambition will make you blind to that danger.
Love how you do different stories, not just the stories everyone knows and does.
A lot of people focus on just the main events, but fire and blood has loads of really great moments like this that get overlooked when talking about the larger context of history. Hopefully we get to see stuff like this in the show.
@@WorldOfWesteros I concur
Wow this series you read for us (thank you so much!) makes me realize that Littlefinger and Varys put together are NOTHING compared to Larys Strong… hes truly the scariest and most powerful spider to ever live in kings landing imo
No… he was a firefly
Don't forget blood raven
Poor sunfyre
They used Tristan that's cold...
Great one I assumed before this they killed the crowds who were at the dragonpit.
I guess they dispurst or were just killed, i know Aegon does deal with the shapared later on but not sure how many followers there would even be at that point.
Aegon and sunfyre had the best Dragon/raider relationship no doubt
desmond and caraxes

@@joe7201
AH yes desmond the best assassins in the order
@@tahmkench118 yes descendent if the great Altair and Enzo.
@@born2WinCustom Aaah yes the great Enzo and his descendants Edmund and Cronner Kensway
Am I the only one who is astonished by how few men lord Borros brought with him?. He rules over an entire kingdom, his kingdom had not taken part really in any of the the fighting so far and he brings less than 5k? wtf
Still won't trust the Dornish or his covertly Black Stormlander bannermen
The numbers in thee Dance of the dragons are pretty wonky all around
Larys the true MVP of the for the greens, i would go even so far to name him best player in all of dance
bro got hard-countered by cregan stark tho. the matchup was terrible
Littlefinger icl is better later on
So Alicent and Larys are still using people. I do hope Coryls survives
Great video sir can't wait until the show
thanks a lot glad you enjoyed the video, can't wait to see it all play out on screen
@@WorldOfWesteros it will be great
Give a gift, get a gift, give nothing you will see nothing. Simple as Lord Borros Baratheon
Where do I find that map you are using?
I made it myself based on the Land Of Ice & Fire maps, i'm still finishing the far far waast of essos right now and adding some missing places in westeros. Once i've done that i'll be posting a link in the community feed for anyone who wants a copy
@@WorldOfWesteros Have you completed it yet? That's really great work and talent. I first thought it came from the writers themselves 👏🏾
Sunfyre 🫡😭
If only the baratheons joined rhaenrya
They felt they were taken for granted by them no?
Borros was a bastard, forgoing his house’s oaths.
@@Leonisdarko Which oath?

WHy does everyone go on about Sunfyre being the hotness? Pink and gold, no thanks.
Its scales shines and sparkles in the sun making him look truly “royal”. I personally find Caraxes the coolest one.
Its because of his bond to his rider even when half dead he refused to die knowing his rider needed him and flew to dragonstone plus she is a true warrior the mvp dragon of the dance
