Burton was just so damn cool on this show; between this and American Woman, bopping with his hands in his pockets, never moving from that mic. That hair...omg, this was my favorite Guess Who period. Was so sad when he cut it off and grew the trademark stache.
In 1974 my step brother had a brand new off the showroom floor bronze AMC Gremlin and he put a quadraphonic 8 track in it and we'ed play this track so loud with the ending... I was 13 or 14, it was awesome.
Quite unreal that two MAJOR. Line-up changes -'including departure of Guess Who Founding Father Randy Bachman -- and the "$$kind Remains the Same" Burton Cummings May Be One of the Greatest Rock Vocalist that thousands Simply Did not REALIZE. No Question. At ALL.
Great song! Top Five Single here in Canada in 1971. Burton had one of THE BEST voices in rock back in the 70s! Kurt Winter on guitar is awesome! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🎼🎶🎵
The best Guess Who line up band members! Burton Cummings has an amazing voice (2nd to none) like no other! My favorite music Man 🎶🇨🇦🎹🎼🥰♾️ Georgeous too! Tall, dark and handsome!😘
Had this 8 track this song in quad UNREAL. last couple minutes I was putting table together it went around in a circle surprised me threw my balance off.

Yes,me too. There are a few great clips of him during this time, he was sooo hot here
Agree! ❤
@@stacyward4309soooo hot that it hurts...damn, he is so handsome
The Heavy Metal side of The Guess Who! One jam to play doing a one night stand!
They did their version of Summertime Blues that is very near the Blue Cheer version.

Great song, always liked it, has a real message, the dual leads and riffs hit hard and LOUD. Long live the Guess Who!
One of the greatest tunes ever.
Burton has the best rock voice ever! Most powerful ever and just flat out the best period!!!!
..ever listen to Back in Black?🤷
Second rate..just screaming.@benwright6330
Miss Kurt and the real Guess Who
That voice, what more can be said?
Wow. This band was so great. One of Canada's greatest musical exports. They have at least a dozen songs I'd hold onto for dear life.
As much as Burton's versatility doesn't surprise me, I must admit this clip blew me away. Burton with the M.T. What a phenomenal pair
i love this guy,the power in his voice is the heaven

Pardon the typo Should read "Sound Remains the Same"
The Guess Who are the COOLEST....love 'em

Woah, what a voice! I’m 54 years old and can honestly say I’ve never heard this song.
The bass player is having the most fun.
would have loved if it was really live
I had this on 8-track! Wheatful Soul! 😎✌❤

Upbeat Show, Cleveland, Ohio. Saturday afternoons🎼.
It’s amazing how much music we have at our fingertips now. I bought the album, the cassette, the eight track. Wow
I had never heard this song before but it has great tune and has become one of my favorites from The Guess Who.
Same. I heard it in a movie trailer the other day
This is from the upbeat Chicago TV show. They also performed American woman which is frequently shown on RUclips
I ❤️ The Guess Who!! Man, this song makes me dance, play air guitar 🎸 AND air drums 🥁 LOL
Ditto.
Love The Guess Who but haven’t seen too many Kurt Winter videos…thanks!
Kurt Winter rules.
In 1970, the Allman Brothers had a mighty guitar duo in Duane Allman & Dickey Betts, Kurt Winter & Greg Leskiw were no slouch's either. . .
i like it as best i can remember i havent heard it
They have a tight groove.
For it is for real, it is, forever!!!
I love this song!
AMAZING. Saludos desde Lima Perú.
My favourite Guess Who song ever, and they cut off the ending! Oh well...
Burton. Te amo mi cielo ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 0:50
☮️💜
Belushi on lead guitar!
Greg, Gary, and Kurt look like they're wearing the same clothes as the Best of cover...
They are. At the end of the song I like Burt's little end speech. It had something to do with Jim Morrison passing at the time.
💯❤️❤️❤️❤️
How tall is the lead guitarist Kurt Winter?
Robert Plant called and said he wants his style and moves back!
You cut the end of the song off. _"They gaped upon me with their mouths..."_ Etc.
Not a trivial matter to play that solo at bedroom volume. Test in peace, Kurt.
NICE , IF IT WASN'T DUBBED
Wish they would have done this live instead of lip sync.
They were a bit before my time...I'm a kid of 60 this year...that tells you how old this is....but it's still good...
Stick in Your Head
doesn't really sound like anything else they did, kinda heavy in a way
“Heartbroken Bopper” is heavier.
