      Well theyve basically done that with cut to the chase now. You only have to press it once at the beginning of the fight and it will reset with your finishee

      Luckily, in the last patch, they changed Slice&Dice to only require to be cast once, and it automatically resets to full effect and time whenever you Dispatch or Eviscerate with full combo points

    I’m rogue since 2008 combat at first outlaw now. I personally love passive options. Trinkets whatever. We have to touch too many damn keys as it is for maximum DPS don’t need another one added in my opinion

      Im a rogue main to and yea its good that everything is passive but there should be atleast an overhaul on the animations and effects on the hero talents and ability’s so rogue feels better and has a gameplay hook

    I'm outlaw main since when i started playing in legion.
    I really liked fatebound, but i agree with the animations overhaul that other classes received but rogue was left forgotten.
    The diabolist destruction warlock for example got 3 new demons and skill changes during the fights.

    those changes are actually good, the problem is that rogues doesnt have a gameplay hook in animations and also have a button bloat problem, outlaw is a mess and assassination still starves energy and needs thistle tea

    Should've added more visual flavor for rogue hero talents. Like imagine if they'd given rogue the giant dagger animation from silvanus phase 1. Make it a line aoe and if it hits one target does extra damage. That would've been bad ass, but literally none of the hero talents have any visual flavor.

    they have litterally killed and butchered outlaw rogue in the War within. Several nerfs and not a single thing was added to be hyped. The Crackshot gameplay nerfed really killed me

    Why would you not want rogue hero talents to be passive enhancers to you core gameplay. Rogue is already drowning in keybinds and has so much going on. Hero talents really should just be icing on a cake here. All in all trickster isn't even all that passive.

    Top 100 or so outlaw rogue from PVE here.
    The class is great in sustained single target currently. One of the flattest damage profiles which is sometimes great, but terrible for farm fights. The latest edition of subtlety since the rebuild feels terrible and removes pretty much all RNG, making the spec a pure spreadsheet rotation meaning to perform well in raid you had to commit more time to preparation and timing than any other class which makes it incredibly boring to play as.
    Outlaw is a welcome change for me but a less flat damage profile would be optimal, we just need one 1.5min/2min CD to add to the rotation to make it giga fun. As for the passives hero talent.. as someone has already said we don't want a rotational change as Outlaw already has somewhere around 120 actions per minute which is 50% above any other class. It's already majorly congested, it is by far the hardest DPS spec to play, optimally, in the game

      Ghostly strike is a 1.5 min cooldown.
      Can I ask what you mean by flat damage? All I’ve heard about outlaw is that it has a lot of RNG which seems to me to be the opposite of flat

      @@attinger117he means (I think) is that no matter how big or small the pull out DPS is almost the same. If you chain pull the whole key, playing the spec perfectly, our DPS will be level the whole time. The only spike in DPS is down, when you make a mistake.

    I think subtlety is a dead spec like combat was.
    Assassination already has a better thematic and does most of what subtlety does in a more interesting capacity.
    And "subtlety" all specs have stealth.
    Move the most important talents over to assassination.
    Create new spec that gives focus to guns. Have a hitman sniper fantasy spec instead. There's already quests in MoP that suggest snipers being a thing. And honestly guns are underutilised now.
    Have first talent in the tree replace a wide variety of skills like eviscerate and sinister strike with some ranged amalgamation of the skills.

      Combat was the only fun one to play.. it had good balanced theme to. Sub was bursty, assassination was DOT, and combat was hack n slash AOE.

      What a stupid take. Sub is fine and fun. Its a spec focused around surprise quick super bursty attacks. Assa is about DoT so nothing to do with each other

    What do u think about outlaw in tww? Im newbie player and im learning this spec in dragonflight to be my main in tww, looks a hard choice but i will try

      too many buttons, if you like it thematically go for it, otherwise retri pala is just 10x better

    Hola....
    El Rogue Sutileza es una porquería como esta hoy en día.... Pero jamás Blizzard podrá mejorarlo, ya que no mete mano en los talentos del Rogue Sutileza!!!
    Mientras no haga un Rework del Sutileza total, no habrá mejoras, recuerdo que estaba en tier A y cuando le llego el Rework al Sutileza, yo estaba muy feliz, pero lo que paso es algo que jamás habia visto desde que juego WOW.... Como una clase Tier A con rework paso a estar en tier C y hasta tier D?
    Se le tiene que caer la cara de vergüenza a quien diseño eso y quedo tan mal!!!
    PD: Si Blizzqard no da un Rework a la rama de talentos del Sutileza, no hay nada que hacer con los talentos de Hero...
    Quedarán fuerte los Paladines, los Magos, los Evoker, porque el problema hoy no son solo las ramas de talentos de Hero... Son las de las especializaciones!!! Y las del Rogue Sutileza es la peor de todos los tiempos!!! Porque esta difícil de jugar, meter 10 habilidades para que cuando vas a pegar ya otros con dos teclas te barrieron el pull...
    Otro PD: Todas las clases deberían tener burst cada un minuto y sin excepción... Mientras eso no ocurra siempre habrá problemas, ya que las míticas no se adecuaran y la raid tampoco a los burst de cada uno!!! Y después si jugar con los daños planos subiendo y bajando entre 3% y 5% para equilibrar, pero cada martes y miércoles, no cada ocho meses en un parche!!!

    Cobat rogue main since forever, tried outlaw in DF, I absolutely hate it, Thistle Tea ? Cold Blood? ER ? Shadow Dance these are not combat/outlaw rogue tools they are from other specs and horrible to press, they just add button bloat and kills the enjoyment of the spec, Roll the bones is the single horrible thing they made for outlaw and they are doubling down on it with Kir, at this point until blizzard fire whoever designed this rogue spec or go back to combat rogue simplicity in terms of gameplay the class is not recoverable

      Current Outlaw design is absolutely atrocious with DF and TWW. I will never understand how they were able to screw up the spec in terms of fun after Legion/BFA. Not sure if you played that but Legion and BFA Outlaw was so on point, a bit too random in Legion but everything was so fun and peak class design.
      But that sadly applies to like 80% of all classes and specs. They went completely downhill after Legion/BFA and became adhd classes who are designed around using weakauras for their button bloat and dozens of buffs to keep up.

      My absolute favorite class since Vanilla and I can't get myself to keep playing it. Too many buttons with boring effects adding button bloat. Why Thistle Tea and SnD have not been removed is beyond me

    I think sub Will be great in raids again, but a dont want to change specs between RAID And m+. So i dont know. Hows Blade flurry 8yards range Feels? Its better than before?

    I have been main Rogue since 2005 to now. I skipped 2 expanisons BFA & SL, and little late join in DF. I want to get back into it playing OL Rogue. I just hope to see that OL Rogue will have much less buttons to press and no small window opener such as using crackshot while in vanish or etc. I just want to be able play as what it was back in OG days as Combat Rogue.

    With Blizz seemingly only interested in designing classes around Delves, a one and done snooze fest that will have maybe a month of relevance, I highly doubt they will manage to do anything give Rogue even a single viable hero talent tree

    i keep trying to play outlaw cause people say its easiest and this is an alt but man i hate outlaws design. Between assassination and sub what plays a bit easier in casual lfrs and open world content?

      Pvp specific tuning hasn't happened yet. No way to tell if "whoa gang look at these Rogue one shots" or "Rogue is buried(very dead)" youtube headlines are in our future. Personally I'd love to see Rogue tuned to be powerful again.

      Pvp specific tuning from one hot fix and 5weeks of tuning pass nerfs had Ret god mode in M+ while being middle of the pack in pvp for damage but dead easily and healing for almost nothing in pvp, the tuning matters.

    Unfortunately I dont see anything that answers the question "why would I invite a rogue to a mythic+ group." Maybe, possibly, at the super high end, super tricky has something going for it, but for 99% of players rogue adds no value. No hero, no battle res, a party buff that no one could possibly notice, one very long cd aoe stop, aoe capped, and dungeon design has made shroud basically irrelevant outside of NW, all while loss of acrobatic strikes makes uptime harder. We've officially entered DPS warrior territory on the "do-not-invite to m+" list.
