I just watched a video on the RUclips channel, The Companion. Brad Wright was being asked which alien race he wouild have liked to have revisited. He sited The Aschen, while they were not like the typical villians(they wern't coming, and there would be no big battles), he thought they were unique, they were insidious, you couldn't fight back, by the time you realised the awful truth, it was too late, te only option was time travel. Unfortunately, Rob Cooper didn't share his faith in the Aschen, he didn't think they posed any greast threat, such a shame, 2010 should at the very least have been a two part story, thanks a lot Cooper.

We are several episodes into season nine of SG-1, and while there have been some good stand alone episodes, the heart has gone out of the series, no Hammond, no Janet, no Jack apart from the odd special appearance and Sam and Teal'c occasionally, Mitchell going around trying to get SG-1 back together is getting tiresome, i know it's easy to look back with hindsight, but they really should have gone straight to Atlantis from season seven, possibly six.

@@debradakayebrowning1239 I agree, quantity doesn't always equate to quality. Most of the Star Trek series, TNG, DS9 and Voyager all ran for seven seasons and after that many seasons the writers usually run out of ideas to keep the shows going.
