    I am going to repeat what I posted elsewhere about MJ -- Older guy here -- not old, but older -- I saw MJ play -- here is a fun fact: MJ is now UNDERRATED. Yes, I said it. For people who did not see him play, it is hard for them to wrap their minds around someone being so superior to anyone who played the game before, after, or at the time that he played - but he was. Those who never saw him play imagine what he must have been like and water it down in their minds, because they have no idea what he really was. He was like an alien out there. If he wanted to lead the league in assists, he could have done it. If he wanted to shoot the 3 ball at a near record clip, he could have done it. There was nothing he couldn't do if he set his mind on doing it. And his first step, hang time, functional body strength, hand eye coordination -- ALL measured off the charts. Add in the fact that he had those mits (monster sized hands!) --- and his killer will --- and you had the "perfect" basketball player. I stand by what I said -- even though he is widely recognized to the greatest ever, he is still UNDERRATED.

    • @nunyabusiness7927

      Sometimes watching MJ play reminded me of watching the Harlem Globetrotters. He was so much better than anyone else in the league that he made the other players look like they played for the Washington Generals.

    • @legallinebacker11
      @legallinebacker11 2 месяца назад +10

      @@nunyabusiness7927 Yep, young guys today have no idea. The media has propped up Lebron vs MJ for clicks and views when those who saw, know.... that it was never close. So because Lebron is propped up as having a GOAT case kids imagine MJ must have been sort of like Lebron - meaning a superior player who is just a little bit better than his peers. When in actuality MJ was so much better than anything we saw before, at that time, and now. He was like levels better. And in truth, regarding that fake GOAT debate thing... its a damn shame the way Kobe is being overlooked because Lebron and Klutch Sports ONLY want the debate to be between MJ and Lebron... when, in my opinion, Kobe was actually better than Lebron. Kobe was the closet thing to MJ. For those stat junkies, take away Kobe's stats from when he was a teenager and take away his last couple years when he was battling injuries, and you get a better picture of who Kobe really was. His impact on WINNING was much higher than Lebron's impact on winning. That says it all.

What a time to grow up! I had a whole wall in my bedroom covered in cutouts from sports illustrated dedicated to him and the boys. I even had a big cardboard cutout, jerseys, shoes, cards etc. Lost all that in a fire but I am happy I was able to grow up watching him play then I would run outside and meet my friends for some evening hoops. Plus all of his accolades and he still has the most trophies of all time and he did it all while winning 6🏆championships without ever losing or going to a game 7. He did it on offense, defense and the free throw line. Then there’s his mental toughness, his high IQ and killer instinct. And we can’t forget about the shoes. They’ve taken on a life of their own. So i guess the early 2000s was trash to.Anybody that watched basketball and knows the game and ain't a lebron fanboy knows the truth.lebron avged 25.7ppg last year. So lebron in this waf era compared to 03 avged 2 or 3 ppg more than MJ on a bad knee and bad team while lebum had A D.

    The way he just flies and floats through the air so effortlessly is truly amazing to see. I think Mike's generational athleticism is kind of underrated. Up until the point he got into the league, we had seen nothing like it. The only reasonable comparisons would be Wilt and maybe Dr. J. And I would argue those two don't come close to Mike. This is why comparing MJ to Lebron really isn't fair. These modern NBA guys LeBron has been competing against are doing these freakishly athletic plays we see in MJ's highlight tapes on a nightly basis.

    Min mark 11.10 is just too much lol! Omg, the dude pushed Mike out of bounds from behind the backboard, and he's like screw you and shot it over the backboard while being pushed way out of bounds lol. Just crazy! 😅

    There's no greater basketball player than Michael Jordan. Period. This whole goat debate is over and not even worth mentioning. Lebum doesn't come close to MJ. Lebum passes the last second shot because he was not confident in his shot. He passed to Ray Allen in the finals, kyrie hit the game winner in the finals, Steph took the pass from lebum James in the Olympics to win the gold metal. MJ wanted that shot!! Just imagine 25,000 fans in the arena and millions watching on TV and everyone knows who's going to get the ball and you still couldn't stop MJ. WOW!! He never disappointed!!!!

    LeBron thinks he can "erase that other 23". We will watch you fail, trying. It can't ever be done. MJ was a gift from the heavens for the game of basketball. We needed players then and players now, as proof that no one could, can, or will match his skill and tenacity. So just play to better your game. Stop trying to out do someone who can't be outdone.
