my bad y'all there's a typo on the final graphic. I accidentally swapped the years between Jordan and Rick Barry, MJ averaged 41.0 in 1993, and Barry averaged 40.8 in 1967 :)
For 10 seasons in a row (1986/87 - 1997/98) he was the scoring champ, top 8 in DPOY voting and missed just 7 freaking games out of 992. His consistency is underrated.
He consistently averaged the most shots in the league those years, and consistently missed the most shots per game in the league. In at least one season, he took 200+ shots more than the second place player.
Sometimes I feel Jordans greatness works against him. He was so dominant so unstoppable that a lot of people who didn't watch him play cant fathom it. We've seen all the all time greats bleed We saw Kobe bleed, Lebron bleed, Curry Bleed, Magic Bleed, Larry Bleed, etc You genuinely can't say that about Jordan The closest thing was 95 when he came back after 1.5 years away from the game. Jordan was something else and now people have to make excuses for it, "weak competition" , "weak rules", etc Instead of just accepting that there was a player THAT dominant. The Goat.
The only thing that lebron fans can say against him is the compettition back then, for me the moment that mj bleed was when he lost VS shaq and the orlando magic , that is the only thing that i can say against his legacy
@@flomoss6206 EXACTLY. And After only playing 17 regular season games after being away for almost 2 years AND the team was BARELY above .500 when he came back (34-31) Say it again brother, GOAT SHIT🔥🐐

The league wasn't as FLASHY as it is today But their fundamentals were insane and you still had must see tv players like Clyde, Young Shaq, Penny hardaway, Charles Barkley (MVP 93), Shawn Kemp, etc, Its just an excuse to call that era weak because again Lots of people cant fathom that one guy didn't just dominate an entire conference like Lebron did the east Jordan had the NBA in a chokehold, Once he won his first chip he NEVER lost again while playing a full season with the bulls He stopped playing basketball after 91, he just knew how to win and did it
@@gallardo10001if you really take a look at the series in depth, one of the biggest reason they lost was because of Pippen. He was absolutely terrible in that series. MJ didn't miss 1 Gm in 96,97,98, Won 3 Titles, 2 MVPs, 3 FMVPs, 3 Scoring Titles, 3 all-NBA 1st team (both ends) 2x all-Star gm MVP, 3x Total Pts Leader, 3x Playoff and Finals PPG Leader. And he did all that from age 33-35 without missing a single game. Now that's something unheard of!
@@outlander234 originally I wrote MJ didn't miss a game in 96, 97, 98, but I switched it to all 82 to make it shorter. Considering MJ only missed 7 games in 11 full seasons with the Bulls, and never sat out for any of his 178 playoff games, I would think it's a given. But yeah I'll change it back

@LilPeka-09, then tell me how it is that Michael Jordan averaged the more 50-point games during the playoffs where there is more physicality and foul troubles than the actual NBA season ? Enough said!
@@aaronmbaye6498 can I watch the last 50 point games in the playoffs get your facts right. In the 90s no one could jump with Michael. The people who could jump with him he struggled against Clyde Drexler he bodied Michael in the 80s in the early 90s. Michael just had a better team.
MJ’s impact and influence is beyond basketball. He brought aura, culture and brought millions to the NBA. He brought the league to another level on his own.
Yes. His creativity alone changed the way wing players approached the game forever. Respect due to Dr. J, but MJ introduced crazy layup packages to a league where everyone was scared to go outside of fundamentals or they'd get benched. It paved the way for everyone from Kobe to Ant Edwards by giving them a blueprint that did not exist before he pushed the envelope. And he didn't just do it for style and points. I was born in 1980. I watched him as a rookie, as a superstar trying to put to bed the myth that he couldn't win in the post season, and as the GOAT who simply couldn't lose in the playoffs. I've seen many of the greatest, Magic, Bird, Kareem, and I'm pretty sure every one of those men will tell you that His Airness deserves the crown he's been bestowed.
Magic, yes. Bird, no. He said he had his time, then Magic, and now they say Michael is the greatest. 'But if you want to know who the GOAT is, look up the book' (the record book, one of Wilt's nicknames). As of when MJ retired, he said he was top 2. Kareem, also no. He volunteered the names of several players who might be the GOAT over Jordan: Oscar Robertson, Wilt, and Larry Bird.
Indeed and I don't want to hear excuses that the Bulls in the 90s was a superteam. They're a well built team sure but it was MJ that made them a Juggernaut. It was his doing. The Warriors only became a true Juggernaut when they got Durant.
Valid points!! And also, those Bulls players ..what did they achieve without MJ? Nothing!! Shows MJ was actually the main factor that made them successful. Their values increased because they played with and won with MJ. No wonder Tim Grover calls MJ "The Asshole". He had to be!!!😊

HE TOP 30 ALL TIME: 1. Michael Jordan - the greatest player and the greatest career in NBA history. Most dominant offensive force and one of the games best defenders. 6x Champ 6x FMVP 5x MVP 2. Bill Russell - the greatest winner and greatest defensive force in NBA and sports history. A legend on/off court. The key to NBA first dynasty. 11x Champ 5x FMVP 5x MVP 3. Magic Johnson - the great PG ever (so far…). REVOLUTIONIZED his position and saved the NBA. 5x Champ 3x FMVP 3xMVP 4. LeBron James - the greatest longevity in sports history. One of the most dominant forces ever and top5 all round player. Still.. counting. 4x Champ 4x FMVP 4x MVP 5. Tim Duncan - best PF ever. One of the most fundamentally sound players ever. Played both ends at the highest level for 15 seasons. 5x Champ 3x FMVP 2x MVP 6. Kareem Abdul Jabar - owner of the most dominant go-to move on offense. The HOOK. The previous scoring leader and lead all points for 4 decades. The greatest BASKETBALL career ever. Prep to Pro. 6x Champ 2x FMVP 6x MVP 7. Kobe Bryant - see number 1 and dilute the athleticism and physical intangibles and that’s what you got. Arguably the greatest warrior in NBA history. 5x Champ 2x FMVP 1x MVP 8. Shaquille O’Neal - the most dominant ever. The immovable object/unstoppable force. Shaq was the definition of dominance. 4x Champ 3x FMVP 1x MVP 9. Larry Bird - maybe the most legendary on the list. Precursor to Jokic but better. One of the most skilled & clutch players ever. In any sport. 3x Champ 2x FMVP 3x MVP 10. Hakeem Olajuwon - back to back. The best of the mid90’s and second best player in the era. Hakeem is like Russell but with AllNBA offensive ability. 2x Champ 2x FMVP 1x MVP 11. Wilt Chamberlain - the games most prolific scorers. Arguably it’s greatest defender as well. The man could do it all. Even lead the league in assist at 7”2. Wilt IS unparalleled. GOAT athlete. 2x Champ 2x FMVP 3x MVP 12. Steph Curry - the games most prolific shooter and one of its greatest scorers. REVOLUTIONIZED the game forever. STILL GOING. 4x Champ 1x FMVP 2x MVP 13. Isaiah Thomas - ZEKE. CP3 before CP3 but nastier and meaner. A warrior and one of the games greatest strategist and generals. Quietly a top5 passer. 2x Champ 2x FMVP 14. Oscar Robertson - the greatest all around basketball player ever. Could do everything at a AllNBA level. Changed the way players were interpreted and influenced generations. 1x Champ 2x MVP 15. Kevin Durant - the Slim Reaper is likely the most ideal offensive weapon ever. Can hit from anywhere, anytime over anyone. Hard to beat and impossible to match that level of offensive dominance. 2x Champ 2x FMVP 1x MVP 16. Julius Erving - The good Dr., the FIRST MJ (before Magic & Jordan), The icon and face of BOTH leagues that saved the game in the 70’s. Kareem was the best but Doc was a close 2nd. Underrated statistical brilliance. Was like a 6’7-6’8 Giannis but with a better jump shot. 3x Champ (1 NBA) 2x FMVP 4x MVP (1 NBA) 17.. Moses Malone - CHAIRMAN OF DA BOARDS. Arguably the best board getter… ever. Only Wilt, Russell, Rodman and Thurmond belong in the same discussion. Moses lead his people to the promise land more than once but was able to claim immortality in the early 80’s. His team lead by the dynamic duo of he and Doc dominated the league. Before Lakers v. Celtics it was 76ers v. Celtics-Lakers. 1x Champ 1x FMVP 3xMVP 18. John Havlicek - the GREAT one. MJ is 6-0. Ole Johnny is 8-0. The offensive force off the bench or starting that lead the dynastic Celtics to all 8. Early in his career he was akin to Jordan Poole role on Warriors 22’ team but better at everything but the 3 ball. Then in the late 60’s-70’s he sat in captains seat. His career is a unique mix. Played like Pippen with elite perimeter shooting/scoring, early career was early Kobe-esque, late career MJ/Kobe-esque. John’s game rose in the playoffs. 8x Champ 1x FMVP (likely 4x) 19. Giannis Antetokounmpo - it’s getting freaky… GreekMan is literally on the ride to potentially threatening Tim’s best PF title. If he can add a couple more rings to his already HOF profile he will likely be the new PF or TOP 5 player. Yea. THAT GOOD. 1x Champ 1x FMVP 2x MVP 1x DPOY 20. Jerry West - The LOGO. Steph Curry before Steph. The man that built the LA franchise along Baylor post Mikan era. Jerry West was the blueprint skill base for players like Kobe, MJ, TMac, etc At 6’2-6’3 he torched his opponents his entire career and dropped plenty of dimes. The ORIGINAL combo guard. So damn great he LOST and still won FMVP… case closed. 1x Champ 1x FMVP 21. Nikola Jokic - the Joker is no damn joke. Genuinely a candidate for potential GOAT if his career pans out in the extreme positive like that of the top 10. Jokic is in a unique place being the greatest passing big statically NBA history (excluding Magic). If Jokic finds a way to fit more jewelry in his fingers, we might have to have a real discussion about that greatest Center of all time discussion. Yes. Potentially a top 5 player alert. 1x MVP 1x FMVP 3x MVP (should’ve been 3 consecutive but you know 22. Rick Barry - The ACTUAL “White Mamba”. Bob Pettit - Big Blue was the first stretch 4 in the games history. That’s for starters. Pettit was a tenacious rebounder and highly skilled scorer. He was much akin to K. Love of his era but in better shape and played defense. Think a smaller Dirk who grabbed boards like Love but in the 50’s-60’s era. Not only that, much like Dirk, Pettit lead a historic upset over Russell’s Celtics. A true champ. 1x Champ 1x FMVP 2x MVP 26. Dwayne Wade - The Flash. Wade County. The greatest Heat in NBA history. Wade is arguably the best defensive player at his position and easily too3 (MJ, Kobe). Led the Heat to a title in 06’ in historic fashion against Dirks Mavs. Then winning a couple more as LBJ’s Pippen. His career was like Kobe’s… in reverse. Wade’s early injuries reduced his maximum career output but yet here he is… says a ton. 3x Champ 1x FMVP 27. Elgin Baylor - The PROTOTYPE. Before West, Julius, Thompson, Wilkins, MJ, Hardaway, Kobe, Carter, TMac, Wade, Ant etc There was Elgin Baylor. The first Air, the first Mamba, the first Half Man/Amazing, Flash etc Baylor spearheaded an era that hardly wanted his talents there but had no other choice but to be in awe of it. If you have some other knowledge im missing, drop them please. Im interested
@@tatsuyaradheya3528 Well, when I say it is not objectively the greatest resume in history I mean it in the sense that if we compile everything for all players ever with no subjective weight or feelings involved, it won't come out on top. Things like legacy are very subjective as one can just decide what they think matters for legacy or not. Now the things you listed like awards, stats leaders etc we can compile those things and Jordan will not come out with the most. Plus the OP said "Greatest resume in NBA History" so I was referring to NBA not outside of NBA. Which if we were you'd have to include HS and NCAA as well. Which would help Kareem quite a bit as you already alluded to. Plus we also have to consider that not all awards and stat titles existed for all players ever. So FMVP, DPOY, ALL DEF, BLK, STL did not exist for Wilt and Russell. DPOY did not exist for 13 years of Kareem, BLK, STL did not exist for 4 years of Kareem. So for all time fairly we can only include what was available for all time. For example Wilt, Russell, and Kareem all likely have DPOYs if they existed, and blocks titles that are not officially tracked so it is not objective to give others points for things they can't get points for. In another post I will display it as this post is already long as it is. To be continued.
I am only using things that were available to all for all history since greatest resume all time is the subject in question and my response that Jordan's is not objectively the highest is in question. NBA accomplishments as the OP said NBA history: WILT: 51 #1 draft pick: 1 ROY: 1 MVP: 4 RNG: 2 ALL NBA: 10 ALL STAR: 13 ALL STAR MVP: 1 SCR TITLE: 7 REB TITLE: 11 AST TITLE: 1 KAREEM 51 #1 draft pick: 1 ROY: 1 MVP: 6 RNG: 6 ALL NBA: 15 ALL STAR: 19 ALL STAR MVP: 1 SCR TITLE: 2 JORDAN 50 ROY: 1 MVP: 5 RNG: 6 ALL NBA: 11 ALL STAR: 14 ALL STAR MVP: 3 SCR TITLE: 10 *(again there are no FMVP, Steals titles, DPOY and all def here because they did not exist for al of NBA history. If we give Jordan these then we have to guess how many DPOY, all DEF team, and blocks titles Russell, Wilt, Kareem, would have won which means it becomes not objective.) RUSSELL 45 MVP: 5 RNG: 11 ALL NBA: 11 ALL STAR: 13 ALL STAR MVP: 1 REB TITLE: 4 It is very close but looks like Kareem and Wilt are tied with Jordan just barely behind in an objective compilation of NBA accomplishments that are fair to all time. This is if we don't include individual records, where if each of those is counted Jordan (12 records) would move ahead of Kareem but then would be well behind Wilt (72, records). So even then Jordan would not come out on top. LeBron is a contender but he is not finished yet. If we did it right now as is: LEBRON: 55 #1 pick: 1 ROY: 1 MVP: 4 RNG: 4 ALL NBA: 20 ALL STAR: 20 ALL STAR MVP: 3 SCR TITLE: 1 AST TITLE: 1 So he would be 1st if we don't count each individual record, but he is not finished so this may grow or stay the same who knows. I am not saying this proves where people should rank all time, but "greatest resume in NBA history" does not objectively belong to Jordan. It's either Wilt if we add the records as accomplishments which you fairly could, or it looks like it will be LeBron if we don't. Non NBA items would give Jordan 2 olympic golds and 1 NCAA title, but Kareem would pile up ahead of him if we do non NBA accomplishments.Russell would bulk his up as well with that. Any things like popularity, marketing, subjective diminishing of eras Jordan did not play in, and hypotheticals like "he woulda coulda shoulda" are not an objective collection of accomplishments. Saying "this award means more than that award!" is not an objective collection of accomplishments.
@@BulletBill-yb3ti you cannot treat all these accomplishments as equals. All star and all nba appearances mean nothing compared to rings or MVPS. Also, if you are not weighting DPOYs and all defense teams because they didnt exist and therefore do not represent players like Wilt and Bill well then you would also have to decrease the value of their MVPs since people of even the past did not have the info to understand value as much as we do now.

The elegance, the creativity, the determination. People who didn’t care about basketball came to see him just to experience the show. Defense and offense. Even when adjusting for the physicality of the 1990s and the modern rules that favor offense, Jordan still outperforms. He leads in 31 out of 42 key categories, including scoring, steals, and clutch performance. While LeBron excels in versatility, rebounding, and assists, Jordan's relentless competitiveness and ability to shine under pressure make him the ultimate champion. Whether it's under 90s tough defense or today's game, MJ consistently proves why he's the best. #JordanGOAT #NBA #MichaelJordan
I have seen enough long time ago, and I know I have enough sense and intuition to know that this dude is the greatest basketball ever in almost almost all categories
That's a very nicely put together video! The only player who apparently didn't fear the GOAT was Drazen Petrovic, shame we didn't get to see more of him due to tragedy.
my bad y'all there's a typo on the final graphic. I accidentally swapped the years between Jordan and Rick Barry, MJ averaged 41.0 in 1993, and Barry averaged 40.8 in 1967 :)

OHHH!! 😂 I remember that commercial. Think it was on WGN
@@knutt81 It was.
He really was though. It was unfathomable greatness and dominance like we've never seen (apart from maybe early 2000s Tiger Woods)
I grew up outside Chicago in the 80s and 90s so of course I am biased. But...
There may never be another athlete like Jordan.
In a sport of superstars where individuals shine, he was as close to perfection as one could be.
Physically, we all know. Perhaps the best leaper ever, cat quick, strong, and had HUGE hands which often goes overlooked.
But that's just the start.
He was perhaps the most psychopathic competitor in the history of team sports. The guy would weep tears of joy while winning a game of Uno.
He was an alpha male. His presence put fear in other players.
His work ethic was second to none.
He maintained a chip on his shoulder throughout his entire career even after being regarded as the best ever.
Another necessity in basketball is aesthetic. Jordan was, IMO, the most aesthetically pleasing player ever. He could float, his jump shot was beautiful, his creativity around the hoop was by far the best we've ever seen. He was good looking, was chiseled, perfectly proportional.
He oozed charisma and still does.
And we haven't even gotten to what he accomplished when he accomplished it.
He came in as Bird and Magic were aging, and the NBA was becoming a global attraction.
He started out on a horrible team that he had to help build up to overcome bullies like the Pistons and juggernauts like the Celtics and Lakers.
You could not have written a fictional story that is as compelling and almost unbelievable as Jordan's.
He retired at the peak of his abilities, and came back to win three more consecutive championships.
The odds of all these things happening again are 1 in a trillion.
I don't idolize human beings. They are not God, and he is not God.
But he is so near-perfect in every way when it comes to basketball that it's hard to believe he was real.

Magic, yes.

This is what you seriously think?
Just imagine if all the white people went around saying the reason why they are hated is because of the invention of the plane, the jet, the internet, satellites or how about the invention of the game of basketball. Claiming to one and all that they are real-life superheroes and that “you are not like us.”
What I think.. not that you asked, is you need some perspective son.
Great job on this video. Editing and story telling was superb!
10:13 Don't you just love it how MJ averaged 40.8ppg in 1967, he really can do everything
0 likes let me fix that
I was about to comment the same thing😂
lmao my fault
HANDS DOWN THEE BEST MJ VIDEO I’VE EVER SEEN!
Greatest resume in NBA History. Idk how or why this is so hard for some to accept.
It is not objectively the greatest resume in NBA history.
@@BulletBill-yb3ti really ? i feel like when you take into account rings and accomplishments ( dpoy, nba all defense, scoring titles, finals mvp, nba mvp, all nba first and second team, all star appearances, nba steals leader, etc...) he really seems like the most accomplished nba player ever , and that's without talking about his legacy on basketball internationally. i looked a bit into it and the only player that can kind of compare to that is Kareem.
NBA accomplishments as the OP said NBA history:
WILT: 51
#1 draft pick: 1
ROY: 1
MVP: 4
RNG: 2
ALL NBA: 10
ALL STAR: 13
ALL STAR MVP: 1
SCR TITLE: 7
REB TITLE: 11
AST TITLE: 1
KAREEM 51
#1 draft pick: 1
ROY: 1
MVP: 6
RNG: 6
ALL NBA: 15
ALL STAR: 19
ALL STAR MVP: 1
SCR TITLE: 2
JORDAN 50
ROY: 1
MVP: 5
RNG: 6
ALL NBA: 11
ALL STAR: 14
ALL STAR MVP: 3
SCR TITLE: 10
*(again there are no FMVP, Steals titles, DPOY and all def here because they did not exist for al of NBA history. If we give Jordan these then we have to guess how many DPOY, all DEF team, and blocks titles Russell, Wilt, Kareem, would have won which means it becomes not objective.)
RUSSELL 45
MVP: 5
RNG: 11
ALL NBA: 11
ALL STAR: 13
ALL STAR MVP: 1
REB TITLE: 4
It is very close but looks like Kareem and Wilt are tied with Jordan just barely behind in an objective compilation of NBA accomplishments that are fair to all time.
This is if we don't include individual records, where if each of those is counted Jordan (12 records) would move ahead of Kareem but then would be well behind Wilt (72, records). So even then Jordan would not come out on top.
LeBron is a contender but he is not finished yet. If we did it right now as is:
LEBRON: 55
#1 pick: 1
ROY: 1
MVP: 4
RNG: 4
ALL NBA: 20
ALL STAR: 20
ALL STAR MVP: 3
SCR TITLE: 1
AST TITLE: 1
So he would be 1st if we don't count each individual record, but he is not finished so this may grow or stay the same who knows.
Sick video, this channels going places for sure
Young bloods get enamored with Lebron placing 4th in all time assist. But junk the fact that Jordan was 2nd all time in steals when he retired the 2nd time (13 season) and currently 4th all time. Proves he is one of, if not the most, elite 2-way player we witnessed.
Sorry, can you answer, now some haters are saying that Jordan’s interception statistics are falsified, what do you say about this?
Props for the editing. This video is chef's kiss
Here are some crazy Lebron stats: 1) NBA all-time leader in TURNOVERS: 5000 and counting as of this writing. 2) NBA all-time leader in FINALS GAMES LOST: 33
This Video is so incredibly well cut. Wow
im a lebron fan but my god this guy is insane i hate how fans of either cant appreciate both
I totally agree with you my nigga I be saying the exact same thing you ain't like either but at least appreciate their greatness!
Six views? bro fell off

Very good quality video - you’ve earned a subscriber ❤
Stats are amazing. But to me he is the goat because of style. he wasn’t the tallest, he wasn’t the strongest, he wasn’t the fastest. Yet nobody could stop him. The elegance, the creativity, the determination. People who didn’t care about basketball came to see him just to experience the show. Defense and offense. I respect the athleticism, basketball mind and durability of Lebron James, I am fascinated by Steph Curry’s 3 point shooting and how he single handedly changed the game, I marvel at Kareems Sky Hook, I am very impressed by the sheer amount of championships that Bill Russell won, I loved watching Hakeem and his amazing skill & footwork for a man his size, I was in awe of the crazy plays that Larry Bird was able to produce as this unlikely ( relatively ) unathletic looking dude and I loved Magic’s showtime Lakers. But only MJ made me fall in love with basketball. To me, he is not only the goat, but one of the most transcending sports personalities of all time. I feel like if you don’t agree, you most probably were not there to experience it. Because if you were, you would not disagree…
Really well made! There is no question
Amazing vid, Most of these feats I never heard of and I thought I knew them all ... Thats a new 6/6 for MJ: Top 10 PPG playoff FG%. The remaining 4 are all different players and they are 1/4 in 50%.
Love your videos !!!! Keep on going, may our Lord and God Jesus-Christ bless you and your work
thanks dog :)
Bro u just earn yourself a subscriber, great video
This video was really good. Great job brotha.
thanks bro :)
MJ was soo skilled, good and smooth some modern idiots say "he was the only good one in the league or that the rest of the league was trash and watered down" not realizing "the Goat" played in the "golden era" when defense matched offense you could sit in the paint and there was an unwritten "no layup" rule in the playoffs 👈💯 #MJtheGoat-it-never-was-close #great-vid #sub-earned
Newspapers and players on his team back then say the same
@@CcV-m7v just because they are current or former players they are not all sincere... however believe what you will the facts remain regardless 👈💯
Damn that was a pretty tough video my guy! Keep up the good work🤙
absolutely man thank you
Great video, I knew he was the Bulls franchise but I didn't KNOW he was the buls franchise. Really puts into perspective. Side note: I think you can take away All Star Game MVP's from the last .....maybe.... 10 years from you list of high accomplishment trophies.
Michael Jordan is the GOAT. His perfect 6-0 record in the NBA Finals, unmatched scoring ability, and defensive dominance set him apart.
Incredible video! I don't really watch mj games but after see that's stats, the only thing i can say is:''He might be the goa-''.🏀
thanks bro :) I've actually been convinced that he's the GOA-
Best MJ video ive seen
Watching him when i was young... It's obvious he the G word. MJ was just on an entirely different level. Tough as hell too
👍Great video. Yes, MJ is shining alone in the distant universe💫🌟💫
I have seen enough long time ago, and I know I have enough sense and intuition to know that this dude is the greatest basketball ever in almost almost all categories
The Goat of basketball 🏀 sheeesh
MJ is by far the goat 🐐
insanely well made video keep it up
That's a very nicely put together video!
The only player who apparently didn't fear the GOAT was Drazen Petrovic, shame we didn't get to see more of him due to tragedy.
