Interesting - my VT9Pro has no grooves on USB-C connector? I'm not sure how exactly they're supposed to look like because your camera didn't get in focus. But I did plug regular USB-C cable that I've had in my laptop bag to charge it in a pinch and didn't have any issues. The hole into USB-C port has weird shape so thicker plugs don't fit but I have dozen cables that do. I usually charge it on wireless pad anyway. It is not my main mouse, just needed something cheap to bring along with my laptop for remote streaming and overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with performance. I'm shocked to hear that this mouse is considered heavy... or too heavy for fingertip - it weights 68gram, that's like... 2 grams more than Logitech Superlight 2 Pro... what the hell are you people using - I made it to Global Elite with Logitech G600 which is like 133g... and it only weights that much because it comes with 2 metal weights inside of it by default xD Also $70 mouse? These are constantly sold for 20-30 on Ali xD
Damn you've had quite a time with this one. I've been using the VT9 Air and Air Lite recently..they have their own quirks too, but might be better than the experience you've shared here! This is wild. Great insight!

@@mel0nFPS You should definitely try them out. I looked at the Rapoo site for recommended grips styles of the VT9pro, and it says 1-2-2 fingertip and 1-3-1 fingertip. Neither are mine lol
idk if you remember my comments on part 1 of the review for this mouse, ended up not getting it which im super grateful for, managed to get a viper v2 pro and just about 3 days ago picked up a second hand DAV3 wired which im also having a BLAST on(my first ever ergo), which i also got to try out high polling (imo it does like nothing but glad ive tried it). Also long story short i have used a vt9pro because a friend has connections with an esports org that they sponsor and i didnt spend much time on it but i fully agree with you on pretty much all of your takes, especially the grip tape its actually funny how bad it is
Somehow this VT9 series had China aftermarket skates ealier than the M800 Ultra did, although people like the M800U more 😅. Btw, lowkey good video as usual man. Big respect from Vietnam gaming mice community
I never actually realised about the USB problem because I have been charging this mouse wirelessly. I got this mouse for 20 bucks so I guess it wasn't that bad

Well, my rapoo mouse is completly fine, idk if its the way I position my hands but they dont feel slippery alothough the grips are pretty much decorations. Also, i transistioned from a heavy mouse (like 100g) to this one so it feels great. The mouses skates are perfectly fine for me. I also tried using my keyboard usb-c connector, and it works perfectly. Maybe the black and the white are slightly different? (btw they advertised it as 8khz on their official website XD, I also got them at 40cad and the wireless 4k receiver was 20, so imo, best budget mouse, also the 2nd wireless one ive tried)
So hate this primarily wireless mouse and will not continue your review because one USB-C cable would not fit, bar the fact that others will (i.e I just tried two standard USB-C cables and they both fit all the way)?! Maybe you should try reviewing products instead of going on ill-informed rants.
Hi. For this review I tested 17+ USB-C cables from other mice and misc cables and every single one of them doesn't make a full connection due to the ramps RAPOO installed inside the USB-C port on the unit. The only cable that made a proper connection was the RAPOO branded one that came with the mouse. I'm not sure if RAPOO has fixed this on newer batches (hopefully they did), but this issue aside the mouse is very bad and has a myriad of other issues that make this mouse just not worth it. Hopefully that helps explain why I said what I said during my "ill informed" rant :)

I have the VT9pro 4k and haven’t experienced any issues so far. The software was recently updated and even has debounce settings now
I've heard RAPOO's newer mice are significantly better than the VT9, might have to check out their newer mice and see if they're truly better

For $20 it's pretty easy to overlook some of the issues with the VT9 pro, much harder when it's $60 though.
