Hello Soy Travels, excellent video ! Just a quick question, since your seat is 16A on the Turkish 777, isn't that the very last seat near the bathroom wall of your economy section? I meant to say that you sit in the forward most economy section but 16A is the last row of seat in your economy section. Since that seat is right after the bathrooms, was your recline restricted, meaning that you cannot recline your chair a lot compared to other seats in the front ? Do you recommend I book seat 16A the next time I travel?
Hi JangMATH, thank you for watching this video and your feedback. Yes, 16A was the last row before the other side of the Economy class behind the aircraft. At that time, only 16A was available on the front end and didn’t realize that it was closer to the toilet and I couldn’t recline the seat. It wasn’t the worst seating but absolutely not comfortable especially with noises from the toilet and your body will be stiff throughout the flight. I hope this helps. Thanks again 😊
@@SoyTravels Hello again Soy travels, so I plan to book my turkish airlines flight from NY to Istanbul in October 2022. Do you recommend I book seat 16A? I think the front section of the economy is good because it is located near the business class in the front of the aircraft. Is the view of seat 16A good or bad? @@okthen5000 Regretfully turned out to be a horror. First they cancelled the flight at the 11th hour and then no customer service whatsoever at Istanbul airport. I guess you get what you pay.

So, with seats it really depends on your preference, but for me honestly, anywhere close to the emergency exit doors have the best legrooms, on this specific aircraft, I would say row 24 and 40 are the most preferable. Please also avoid rows before the toilets because those seats are non-reclinable and noisy. Thank you very much for watching this video. In my case, they didn't check the weight of my hand carry upon boarding. Well, unless maybe when your luggage is obviously large (like if you buy stuff from duty free).

Hey thanks for watching my video. Turbulence can really occur unpredictably in any flights. Although on this specific flight, we never had any turbulence (thankfully); it was an awesome flight indeed. Have a safe flight to Turkey, hope you enjoy your stay 😊

Hey thanks for watching my video and I’m glad you liked the video. TK was really a pleasant surprise, they give value to your money. The food was awesome and you can request for special meal prior to your flight. It was scheduled at 12:10am from JFK to IST but you can also expect delays because JFK is very known to having delays on departure. Hope I answered your questions.

HI Ken, thank you so much for watching my video. So, I had 16A and as far as I can recall, it didn't recline because it was the seat before the toilet, so as a friendly advice, avoid row 16 at all costs if you are easily bothered by toilet noise and non-reclinable seats. With regards to sleeping, I had an awesome one. Typically if you are travelling towards east, your sleep tends to be shorter which was the same on this flight. Have an awesome one!

Which window seat is the best in 777?
Thank you for watching this video. A window seat in any row in front of the wings should give you a fine view. It’s hard to specify a specific row because different airlines install their seats with slightly different spacing, so they may not line up exactly with the nearest window.

The runway was long but ok. Istanbul Airport is a global hub
The airport is incredibly huge indeed. When I had this flight it was relatively new, so there were room for improvements like a working wifi and power plug stations. You can check my other video with TK IST-DXB flight 🤗

what a nice trip report, I really enjoyed watching it ! I have never been on Turkish Airline but I have heard very good things about it. Was it economy or premium economy? The service looks like Lufthansa Premium economy perhaps without the legroom 😉
Thank you for your comment Aneta. Absolutely loved Turkish Airlines' service way better service than Qatar and Singapore Airlines in my opinion. The only thing I didn't enjoy during this flight was the delayed boarding. Perhaps it was because JFK is very congested. I'm using the hopper app right now but I heard it's better to book directly with the airlines however that means I would have to book three different tickets from California to Turkey

But if you were to ask me about these options, I think Lufthansa is the best choice then KLM, Delta and United. European airlines has better legrooms if you ask me. Hope this is helpful to you. How was Turkey as a place to visit?
Turkey is a great tourist destination. I love the architecture, food and the locals. Unfortunately, I only had a short stay, but if given a chance to travel again, I would love to explore it one more time. ❤

They have stopped serving liquor.....cost cutting in the garb of COVID. Ridiculous!
Cost cutting is one but traveling during covid was more like an urgency not for pleasure. Pretty sure it will be back soon and maybe the last thing they would ever want is having an unruly drunk passenger during flight 😅
