I found one concealer that's exactly my skin tone and it covers everything... I have dark circles and hyperpigmentation around my mouth due to genetics but this one concealer covers everything without any color corrector and it's worth it all 😂💕
Your facial feautures are all align and blend beautifully together! You are legit fabulous, like your nose shape literally fits your frame so well and ty for the tips
Yes, that makes complete sense. The shadow is from a recession and so by bringing what you want to hide forward you get rid of that recession and get rid of that shadow. Provides an optical illusion to the bridge of the nose to make it appear more narrow. You can then apply contour on after to make it even slimmer.
This is what works best for me. Just brighten the sides of the nose, and put some blush and highlighter on the bridge. That’s it. Every time I try to “contour”, it never works.
In half a decade or so ,wide noses will be a trend and people who made us feel insecure abt it will have makeup videos detailing how to make it look bigger. But they won't say it out loud because that's nasty.
Your face and your voice are pure harmony. It' s such a joy to see that you just slim your bridge with some make up and that *you didn' t get filler in your top lip* (as expectable nowadays). 🧛🏻♀️🖤
I think if you're concealing a usually shadowed area you should use a concealer that's a bit lighter and warmer. That way when the shadow hits it, it blends with the rest of your face.
True, it is actually a warmer color than skin toned matches. They blend beautifully because of the higher warmth over time as you wear your face. It will adjust to your body temp.
Your nose is so perfectly balanced to you face that it doesn't even look wide. Do what it feels best for you, but you don't need it, you are beautiful 😊
Omg yes. This is what I do ❤ Highlighting the wide part makes it look like that skin is the area under your eye instead of part of a wide nose. I'm glad someone else does this.
Girl yes!! I have a slim nose but it’s crooked so one shadow is casted way more on one side. I’ve been doing this trick for that side and trying to explain it to people haha! This is great, I just followed you! ❤
I’ve been doing this for years and you are the first person online that I’ve seen figure this out! It’s about shadows and light. Can’t have one without the other. I learned it from drag queens! I actually put concealer all over my nose, powder, then do the contour.
I’m a pink undertone girlie so it works great for me to just bring my blush up there to make it blend with my cheeks. If you love blush and have the right undertones it’s definitely worth a try.
Yes, it makes sense - you are concealing shadows and creating lighter places instead. Then, changing where the shadows are to where you want them to be.
Omg I have the same idea but never put it to use. This makes so much sense because I find that my nose looks just brown or dark with traditional contouring. Imma try this
Thank you so much for the explanation ❤️ I always thought using the cool bronzer/contour on the sides, would make my nose slimmer. Now I get it. I've seen so many tutorials, and no one has explained the why and how. Love it ❤
Girl I can't bring myself too look anywhere besides your eyes. Damn. Your eyes are so beautiful man, in my whole life I've never been so attracted towards someone (Admiration) .
You made perfect sense! Love and appreciate the tip bc I’m some kind of dummy and did not know this! 15 years of almost daily makeup and a relatively wide nose, you’d think I would’ve got it myself lmao You’re so pretty btw! Your eyes!! ❤
I have never seen a nose fit someone's face so well. You are so beautiful and need nothing done, not even makeup. Make sure all that contouring work is for you only.
Contouring without the concealer would just add shadow to the shadow already there, which makes the shadow look bigger. Making the shadow bigger makes the nose look bigger/wider.
Thank you so much! This is awesome! My boyfriends 12-year-old daughter just moved in with us and the poor thing has her father’s big nose, lol! She’s just getting into makeup and she just asked me the other day if I could contour her nose. I don’t know how to contour a nose! I “contour” my nose, but it’s more to just get some color/bronzer on my nose, I don’t do it to make my nose slimmer, nor do I know anything about that! So this is a really great tip, thanks!
Valid asf! This is my secret to good nose contour, especially for like drag or character makeup. I like to bring the top of that triangle of highlight all the way up to the inner corner of the eye. After it’s blended all together it helps to look more seamless and natural like it’s actually your nose shape
Did this on accident with translucent powder years ago (before it became a trend) and I've been doing it ever since. I don't really contour my nose, I just powder the sides of the bridge and highlight the peak of the bridge and it gives me the look I want without making my nose look obviously contoured at certain angles.
Yess! I always used to do this and that worked for me. I used to see everyone doing the opposite (creating more shadows at the side). But it actually depends on your nose what will work for you.
your eyes are so unbelievably beautiful wow-
Fr she has the biggest, most adorable eyes I’ve ever seen 🥺
fr
it’s giving tim burton character
fr. I didn't even notice she had a nose
No
I love the shape of your nose either way but I like the make up tip too
Aw thank you!!💕💕
I think not contouring all the way would give the impression of “button nose” it seems cuter, or idk
@@sarahssuperspa yes, you have a beautiful nose.
@@sarahssuperspa how do you contour a bent nose? I got my nose broken and I can see a bend ☹️

Yes thank you! My artist brain is like NOOOO THATS NOT HOW LIGHT WORKS ITS THE DAMN OPPOSITE
This is what works best for me. Just brighten the sides of the nose, and put some blush and highlighter on the bridge. That’s it. Every time I try to “contour”, it never works.
literally the only time ive ever understood nose contouring. you made total sense!!

That's never going to happen
@@anonymous-bn3pc Anything can happen. Thin lips was a big trend a while back.
@@vivs9314 there are something which Never go out of trend. For example being slim was never out of the trend.
@@anonymous-bn3pc it was, but a very long time ago
@@anonymous-bn3pc being slim meant you're poor back in the 1800s and early 1900s. Being chubby was the beauty standard.
Basically you're making a "blank canvas" so to speak.
This is the best actual advice I've seen so far that explains _why_ you'd do that.

At last ! As someone with a wide nose I’ve always done this and so confused with the dark contour people use , this is so much easier
Obsessed with her eyes. What an ethereal beauty, wow! Bless you girl 🧿

I’ve never understood the thinner nose thing tbh. Noses are noses. you’re nose is beautiful girlie
I’m a pink undertone girlie so it works great for me to just bring my blush up there to make it blend with my cheeks. If you love blush and have the right undertones it’s definitely worth a try.
Moving or rewriting you shadows makes sense. I really liked your explanation as a complete beginner with make up.
I need a concealer that matches my skin color first 💀
this helped me so much! i couldn’t figure out how my contour was somehow making my nose look bigger. i know now. thank you

These gotta be some of the most beautiful eyes I've seen.. I was caught off guard like wow
Girl omg u saved my life I've been doing those lil triangles with contour and thinking why tf my nose look the same lol
makes perfect sense. you are covering up the bigger wider shadows first so you can go in with the smaller slimmer shadows that you want.
