Today I'm taking a look at the 2024 model Hymer MLT 580 (4 wheel drive) yes you really can get 4 wheel drive on the standard ride height but there is also the option to have raised suspension for off roading. You can also spec it with rear wheel drive if you prefer.
Its had a multitude of improvements for 2024 including a facelift of the interior finishes inspired by the Hymer Venture S (as shown on this vehicle) but you can have it in a pale grey and velvet ash wood finish, either way its a fabulous motorhome.
This Mercedes Chassis 170 HP Euro IV-E engine motorhome has a Metallic Grey semi integrated cab (Tenorite Grey) and silver habitation body with distinctive Hymer graphics. Other colour options are available.

Gorgeous! Those high-end features really do elevate this vehicle - great to benefit from their previous development even if you don’t buy their super star versions. I really felt as if I was examining the van myself … a well-filmed and narrated tour, Sue.

Ooh lucky you. Did you opt for the raised suspension AWD? This is all wheel drive too but on the standard height. It’s a beautiful van I’m sure you’ll have some fabulous adventures in it. 😀
We have a raised suspension of 9cm. And 190hp.
I’m sure you’ll love it. It’s one of my favorites on the market at the minute. 😀

Im afraid if you mean road tax I dont know the answer. Its not just based on the engine size here in the uk.

It looks like the regular front wheel drive model judging by the ride height 🤔
I was told by the dealer it was 4 wheel drive. it’s just not the off road raised suspension version. Thanks for watching.
I agree ..not convinced it's AWD
The AWD is only available as 190bhp and has the protruding indicator lights - sadly you have been misinformed 😢 still love southdowns tho ❤
All MLTs are RWD unless ordered as an AWD 👍
@@leannearnold8326 not any more, I'm fairly sure they're on Front drive with an AL-Co rear chassis.
Hence the TAG axle models now available. Not just Hymer either.
