This is absolutely amazing! I would live in this. The price is just unjustifiable. I'm Canadian. It's $708,000 Canadian. Regardless of how nice and luxurious it is, it's a van! Luxury class As aren't this much! Unfortunate!
By far the best class-B camper van I've seen and even surpass the industry-leader Airstream Interstate 19/19X. Only catch is the $530k starting price. If they can lower the price to like $350k range, I think they'll get lot more buyers, me included. Awesome video too.
This is the most insane camper van I’ve ever seen. The price seems obscene until you watch the entire video and see how thoughtful each system is and how high the attention to detail is. It’s like you had a team of engineers who are experienced campers who you just kept saying yes to.
Bro! Out of all the vans (1k’s) this is the most practical and best designed I’ve seen. Yes it’s expensive, but I bet you sell every van you make. I don’t care how much these things are. With this design and craftsmanship, you will find a buyer for every van
I’ve looked at a lot of van builds, and this is by far the most well thought out that I have seen. This is a castle of a van! Nice work engineering and designing this as well as the rooftop tent! There is now a new van threshold for me. Good luck with all the sales and hopefully I can afford one someday!
Awesome build. The best thing for me is the skyloft and routing ducts in it. That's incredible amount of planning and design. Also, a lot of expensive things are not so important for me (for example, induction stove or convertible bed or smart lighting or expensive fog light). I would simplify a lot of things in my own build. Also would make some things more accessible for repair. But the rooftop, ladder, seats, windows with shades, ducting, garage and the build overall are incredible!
I like a more rugged style, but man this is a beautiful build for someone who wants something polished. Super impressed with the HVAC system. Radiant heating + split A/C is so cool.
Congrats on getting the skyloft to this stage. It looks amazing! The build is impressive too! I am fascinated by your induction setup. I didn’t even know that was possible! Would love to know more about it and it would be interesting to see the skyloft in action when it’s wet. I can’t visualise how water from the rear windows won’t get the ceiling wet. Even with water draining away there will still be a wet window folded up in there.
Thank you! We appreciate that. There is space between the rear wall and the ceiling. The side walls fold down on top of the rear window as well (dry, interior side in), so nothing ever touches the ceiling. In addition, most water runs off the window before closing due to the steep angle. Any remaining moisture drains into a moat we designed around the exterior of the window and away from the camper. We have some old instagram posts showing it being opened and closed in rain and snow. This was thoroughly tested. Stays dry!
Finally another company is implementing this Volta auto start feature! I don’t understand why Winnebago is the only one that is doing it with the Travato 59KL and 59GL. This literally makes you self sustaining with only needing to refuel to stay out there. Tremendous savings in the long run. This system virtually gives you the ability to live on the road full time with minimal cost.
Very well done, informative, systematic narrative. This is the ultimate van build. I am very impressed! I see from another comment that it costs $700,000. Wow! That price puts me out of the market. If I could afford that price, I would get it. Very much worth it.
That roof top design is very cool…but when you consider price something like hyper venture s or Grand Canyon is very attractive…but this is a very practical and spacious van…
So if you finally pulled this off.. it’s all downhill for ER since CLEARLY you were the one with the design/finishes chops on the team.. LOVE the Skyloft Van.. awesome stuff
Also.. what’s the drivetrain in there did i hear you say DEF tanks were relocated?.. would you entertain adding new transfer case for better low range gearing?
The base vehicle is the Mercedes-Benz 3500 XD AWD. We convert the dual rear wheels for better travel on the trail. Yes you heard right! We relocated the DEF tank to accommodate our custom high clearance front bumper. As for replacing the transfer case, maybe someday ...
This is just spectacular, brilliant in every respect. Price aside, demonstrates masterful thinking, design & approach I’m sure will apply in future projects beyond this.
this is the coolest van i have ever seen. the concept with the bed on the roof is brilliant. if the isulation works.. i hope they build a lot more of them and will sell them in europe too😊
I'm only 1:29 in and my mind is blown. I know a LOT of professional builders who make beautiful van's and this is right up there with them with even more. Daring spots for the camping windows, and the rooftop pop up is huge! What does this van weigh? My 170 4X4 is a lighter build at 8000, this has to be at 10,000. Wow, just beautiful, well done!!!!!! Just wrote on your IG page also. One item I would love to know what brand is the rear adjustable lights in the back. Thanks! Again....WAY outside of the box. Kudos to your team at Redtail!!
Really beautiful and you can tell the passion and precision put into this van. No hate and a master of its class. For me and for the price for just the single van, I would grab a Leisure Travel Van and Wrangler/Gladiator with a Patriot Trailer instead. Totally different needs for each person, but to me a Leisure Travel Van covers the luxury and comfort this van offers but has more space. And if I wanted more off the grid camping I would grab the Wrangler and Patriot Trailer. Still cheaper than this.. but again just my personal preference. I see why this would be the perfect setup for some folks and price is relative. You’ll sell these quickly. Cheers!
Absolutely awesome … , I haven’t found many manufacturers that do this in regards to thinking out of the box … unless ur doing a custom build Only other company is hymer … check them out maybe for version 2.0 you can utilize some of their designs with ur own twist Love the van definitely on my to get list for the summer ( that and a patriot camper x3 ) Oh and congratulations on everything can’t wait to see wats next for you guys
This would be one of the first purchases I made If I won big on the lottery. The way it’s been built, thought up…is literally second to none. I can see all the big dawg van companies pretty much ripping this off for a very long time. I will be intouch when my numbers come through 😂👌🏻🙌🏻
I’ve personally been in 500+ campervans and worked in the industry. This is an incredibly well built rig. For everyone complaining about price, this van just isn’t for you. There are 100s of builders and all types of van builds. Just find one that fits your budget and stop whining. 👏
Just discovered you guys! Fantastic design thought process going on though out the entire van, I really enjoyed your explanations and the why you did what you did. This format of showcasing your vans is spot on and I look forward to seeing all your future customer vans. The Skyloft is a fantastic concept for me it looks a little obtuse on the angle and I'd love to see more of a trapezoid shape when it deploys but again I'm sure theres a reason for it. Would love to see a customer swap that Max air fan out and put a projector so they could watch movies on a screen on the back window of the skyloft but hey it's not my money! Please keep doing what you do
Absolutely great design. Best I’ve seen in a class B. Details great. But over a half million US$ for a B isn’t justifiable. I don’t need German leather and book matched cabinets.
That loft design is incredible. Bravo. I love that it orients towards the rear so you share same view as bottom dwellers. We have a great van for our needs w standard pop top which is great though not nearly as roomy and I wish I could flip the orientation. Gorgeous van all around.
This van is awsome yet it has everthing besides a shirt closet. Some people like their pressed shirts to hang ready for use. Otherwise incredible almost flawless van. Thank you very much!
You did a great job🎉 I've always wondered if there would be a van that would be able to watch the sunset from the rooftop, but still have a solar panel on board at the same time. But you managed to do better, you made a sleeping place there. Bravo to an excellent engineering solution. I would also like a mosquito net on the back door and rounded corners in the kitchen area. Is it possible to have a bike rack on the back door? I wish you all the best!
Thank you! It's not shown, but there is full mosquito netting for the rear van doors, the sliding side door, and in the Skyloft above that can be zipped in or out. There are fixed screens on the van side windows and the high windows around the booth. The rear of the van offers bike racks for two bikes. As for the kitchen corners, we hear you. Due to weight constraints, we use a thinner porcelain with mitered edges that can't be rounded. Other materials could certainly be discussed!
This is awesome. I am assuming that this is the project you have been working on. Will there be other floor plans/customizations available for solo van goers?
As an Adria Twin Sports 600 SPB owner, I wish that Adria went to so much detail as you have. This is really awesome build, borderline Hymer Venture-S status on what you have done with this, really amazing job and well thought out artistry in such a small space. Now, how do I get one over here in Japan with right hand drive 🤔
This is the best design I ve seen. Well done. But why the U seating area has small windows? It would be great if it has big windows to enjoy the views from inside too.
The rear sofa is raised up to allow a huge garage storage area beneath. Because we don't want to cut into the structural components of the van body, larger windows don't fit in this higher location. The standard location for larger windows is blocked by the height of the sofa. Keep in mind the big back doors open fully and have a screen, so you can enjoy huge views out that way as well.
It reminds me to the Hymer Venture S, although the rooftop bed space looks way sturdier and better insulated on this one. I still prefer the interior layout and design of the Venture S though.
Love it…except I would get rid of the extra seats. I’m an introvert, more people more problems. Make that extra storage/ proper fold down desk. Maybe let the toilet slide into that area when not in use.
The Skyloft rooftop portion is currently only available as an exclusive feature on our complete Skyloft Van. We hope this changes as we grow. We are taking limited reservations for the complete van now.
This is absolutely amazing! I would live in this. The price is just unjustifiable. I'm Canadian. It's $708,000 Canadian. Regardless of how nice and luxurious it is, it's a van! Luxury class As aren't this much! Unfortunate!
Its literally the price of a house🤦♂️
I think they tear everything out and fill it with gold for that price.
The best sprinter build I've ever seen
By far the best class-B camper van I've seen and even surpass the industry-leader Airstream Interstate 19/19X. Only catch is the $530k starting price. If they can lower the price to like $350k range, I think they'll get lot more buyers, me included. Awesome video too.
Crazy beautiful build, but what’s even crazier is full houses that are just as nice cost half the price. At least where I am from.
One of the best builds i have seen in a while. Induction under the counter is soo cool
Thank you very much! We love that feature as well, really opens up the counter space :)
This is the most insane camper van I’ve ever seen. The price seems obscene until you watch the entire video and see how thoughtful each system is and how high the attention to detail is. It’s like you had a team of engineers who are experienced campers who you just kept saying yes to.
Best build by a long shot. Price aside, this is perfection.
Bro! Out of all the vans (1k’s) this is the most practical and best designed I’ve seen. Yes it’s expensive, but I bet you sell every van you make. I don’t care how much these things are. With this design and craftsmanship, you will find a buyer for every van

This is an engineering marvel. And if the price is what it is, then you get what you pay for. This is a 48 V Van, top-of-the-line.
Finally! Been thinking of building the same setup. But since this is here. It makes life easier. 😅
Truly amazing! Unmatched quality! Next level innovation! Excellent presentation! I love what you have done, kudos to you and your team!!
Thank you very much!

This is literally the best custom van build I have ever seen.
I like a more rugged style, but man this is a beautiful build for someone who wants something polished. Super impressed with the HVAC system. Radiant heating + split A/C is so cool.
Simply beautiful, price is outrageous.
Such a dope ass build. Super fancy, very comfortable and awesome way of maximizing space.
Congrats on getting the skyloft to this stage. It looks amazing! The build is impressive too! I am fascinated by your induction setup. I didn’t even know that was possible! This is beyond amazing. It is an incredible design congrats.
next level guys. this rig just oozes quality and intentional design.
Words are not enough...tons of innovation...! I'm sold.
Very well done, informative, systematic narrative. This is the ultimate van build. I am very impressed! I see from another comment that it costs $700,000. Wow! That price puts me out of the market. If I could afford that price, I would get it. Very much worth it.
It’s a beautiful build. But the price is waaaaaayyy too much. Nope
That pop up tent would make a killing as a solo offering as well.
Pure craftsmanship! Best van camper on the market by far! Great job ! Keep it going
I want one of these so bad. I've had a few campers now but would like something that I can drive and not have to pull. This is sweet!
On another level. Very impressive.
Thank you!
That roof top design is very cool…but when you consider price something like hyper venture s or Grand Canyon is very attractive…but this is a very practical and spacious van…
The price is a huge obstacle for most consumers. You could buy a used Class A luxury coach and pay a full time pro driver.
So if you finally pulled this off.. it’s all downhill for ER since CLEARLY you were the one with the design/finishes chops on the team.. LOVE the Skyloft Van.. awesome stuff

The best design on Sprinter chassis that I have seen...
Much appreciated!
Amazing design and layout. I can get excited about this.
I just saw this van on tik tok… I thought wow, this looks like if earthroamer made an overland van…! Now I understand 😉
😉
Best built Sprinter ever seen❤
This is just spectacular, brilliant in every respect. Price aside, demonstrates masterful thinking, design & approach I’m sure will apply in future projects beyond this.
This is amazing..pray i'll be able to afford this one day.
Amazing work guys 👊🏼
What a great build, amazing !
Thank you!
Absolutely perfect one, I would much would like to see aluminum Storage Shelf as it saves a lot more space and looks cleaner IMO
What a beautiful build, absolutely stunning!
I love this, and if I ever take the plunge for camp living, I will really consider. The price though is killing it for me, best of luck!

Mercedes-Benz 3500 XD AWD 170" high roof cargo van (non-extended) for those wondering.
I love the loft.

$530k bro? It’s beautiful but damn!
This is the best design I've seen but $500K U.S. as a starting price, no way.
Pure genius! Wow.
Absolutely stellar van! Great job.
Thank you kindly!
Incredible build. How tall are you? I’m trying to gauge headspace. Thanks.
Just under 5'11". The hair puts him at 6' ;)

Gorgeous van all around.
Sell the kids, remove the 2 spare seats and use the space to make the bathroom bigger and add more storage, perfect.
Brilliant! Dream van! Expensive but wealthy people needs toys too :) I would rather buy a couple of houses though.
Whoa this is amazing
Best van I’ve ever seen super innovative and classy
Thanks very much, we love to hear that!

Awesome rooftop camping
You can hire a general contractor and have their team build this for you and it won't cost $530K
Very nice !!! I think the rear bumper outlet is too vulnerable however
Absolutely awesome!

Cool choices
It makes me sad knowing that I could never order one and get it shipped overseas to the UK as this is a dream van build!
Well Thought out Travelling Vehicle🎉
Backup camera? Tow package?
Love it…except I would get rid of the extra seats. I’m an introvert, more people more problems. Make that extra storage/ proper fold down desk. Maybe let the toilet slide into that area when not in use.
Looks fantastic, sounds expensive.
Radiant heat is an interesting choice, wonder why more people don't go infrared. Much more efficient as you only heat the people.
When are you taking orders for the skyloft?
