Wow. I really like these tutorials. I realize that like Gamedev, he does things in the most logical way. Something as simple as snapping the wheels to the grid is genius. I have seen other Maya tutorials and although there are so many great ones, and the projects turn out well regardless, this is a more organized way to do things where you won't run into problems up the road because so many things are "off". As we all know in Maya it's hard to figure out where things got off track.
Honestly, I've learnt so much with Maya by watching your tutorials. They have helped so much. I was just wondering if you've ever made a tutorial on how to model games consoles or PCs? I've tried modelling an Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and an Alienware Aurora R1 but not with a lot of luck.
Easy way to start. Do the overall and then layer detail. I find other ways very complex as a beginner. I am an architect learning MAYA skill to compliment REVIT
wouldn´t be better to work just on half of the model in +x and make and instance on -x ? later freeze transformation to asure that thre are no reverse normals on -x and combine the two sides and merge the vertex on the mid ?
I'm glad I found this, I am trying to make a whole city of adelaide and custom cars for my Roblox Game! Do you know how to build a road? If so, if you haven't already made a tutorial, can you make one for us? I want to make a mountain road!
I have been following your work for a while and I must say you are the best Maya tutor on RUclips. I am pretty sure you must have covered something on UV maps and I was wondering if you could please link me to it. I have just started to Maya few weeks back and I am still very confused so a small request would be a Tupperware bottle. If u could please make one of those
@@MHTutorials3D Tried that out as well as other Maya solutions. Didn’t work. Thanks for the suggestions. Once I figure it out I’ll stop by to continue the tutorial. Great video! 😊
i am working on my 3d modeling project and this helped me a lot with not just how to create the car model but the shortcut keys too! thank you so much

Great! Simple and user friendly! Thank you, Mike!
You're welcome!
Yes, I really like how simple your tutorial is. Do you have one showing the wheels rolling?
Awesome and simple, as always! Thank you.
Thank you so much I've been trying to make low poly cars for 5 years now I think I found my answer! Make more? Like how to inport textures to them?
For textures you need to UV them first ( I did a full playlist on that )

what hot key did you use for edge loop tool? Also how to get straight line across. mine is going up and down the edges.
Ctri I for the insertion of Edges. To get straight across, select one on the vertical edges instead of a horizontal one

thanks very usefull tutorials
please please show some tutorials on human modeling
The bridging and closing of that bottom gap is really that simple? I keep getting an error message. not sure where I went wrong.
Make sure the amount of edges is the same at both ends. It is also important that the whole thing is one single mesh. Also try deleting the history
