I was going to say similar. I wondered if they had updated it to reflect that Wrigley Field was now lighted. They should have released a new version of that song with those new lyrics. Still a great song. Maybe them mentioning the no lights at Wrigley Field embarrassed the cubbies into getting lights. Then a few years later they won the World Series. So pretty good!
@@TheBrooklynbodine i’m not a Cubs fan, but I hope not, Wrigley Field is so traditional. Now, I am an LA Dodgers tan. No dome at Dodger Stadium please!
Daveinet But, thanks to All Gore's invention of "Global Warming" we NEVER have to worry about 4th July parade being " snowed out"! Or, LA being cold. But, with all the emissions junk on cars, smog is less of a problem.
How is it a problem? Most people still stand for the flag, and people who actually understand what freedom means should support those who, for whatever reasons, choose not to.
The vast majority still stand and cheer, and I'm quite sure that;ll always be the case. Still, it's shameful when even ONE person disrespects the flag.

I wondered what the change was. Surely, they'll never put a dome on Wrigley Field...will they?
Gary Kerns Originally was " when the lights go on at Wrigley Field..."

I thought the same thing. :-(
